Patent number: 10614199Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling access to an online account are described. An access control message including an action to be performed on an online account can be sent from a mobile device to a server. The server may identify the mobile device based on identifying information in the access control message. Upon identifying the mobile device, the server may determine whether the user has authority to initiate the action to be performed on the online account. Upon determining that a user of the mobile device does have authority to initiate the indicated action, the action indicated in the access control message may be taken with respect to the online account.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2019Date of Patent: April 7, 2020Assignee: Visa International Service AssociationInventor: Mark Carlson

Patent number: 10613176Abstract: An approach is presented to recontruct image data for an object using a partial set of magnetic resonance (MR) measurements. A subset of data points in a data space representing an object are selected (e.g. through random sampling) for MR data acquisition. Partial MR data corresponding to the subset of data points is received and used for image reconstruction. The overall speed of image reconstruction can be reduced dramatically by relying on acquisition of data for the subset of data points rather than for all data points in the data space representing the object. Compressive sensing type arguments are used to fill in missing measurements, using a priori knowledge of the structure of the data. A compressed data matrix can be recovered from measurements that form a tight frame. It can be established that these measurements satisfy the restricted isometry property (RIP). The zeroth-order regularization minimization problem can then be solved, for example, using a 2D ILT approach.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 2015Date of Patent: April 7, 2020Assignees: The United States of America, as represented by the Secretary, Department of Health and Human Services, University of Maryland, College ParkInventors: Peter J. Patent number: 10614208Abstract: A device determines that a data breach of an application has been reported and determines that an individual has an account with the application based on identifying an association between an application identifier and a username the individual uses to access the application. The device receives, from a user device associated with the individual, password information used to access the application. The device uses the password information and usernames for a group of applications with which the individual has accounts to perform a login procedure for the group of applications to determine that login information for one or more of the applications includes the password information used to access the application affected by the data breach. The device provides, to the user device or another device, a recommendation to change the password information used to access the application and the one or more applications.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 2019Date of Patent: April 7, 2020Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Joshua Edwards, Michael Mossoba, Ljubica Chatman, Jason Ji, Carlos Rodriguez

The system provides an information extraction and modeling framework from wide spectrum of document types such as PDF, Text, HTML, LOG, CSV, images, audio/video files and DOCX. In this framework information is extracted and mapped on a domain conceptual model like ER model and the instance model is created. Initially a template model is created using the existing ER model and the plurality of data sources. The template model, the existing ER model and the information extracted from the plurality of data sources are then provided as input to generate the instance model. The system or method is not limited to extract information from log files. This can be useful for different types of files type if the structures and formats of data are different.
