    Abstract: Viral infection has been suspected in the development of primary Sjögren's syndrome (pSS). Using a custom viral microarray, hepatitis delta virus (HDV) genomes and antigens were detected in minor salivary glands of patients with pSS. Expression of HDV antigens in healthy mice led to a Sjögren's syndrome-like pathogenesis characterized by a reduction in salivary flow, increase in lymphocytic foci, and the development of an autoantibody profile similar to HDV-positive patients. Also described herein is the detection of HDV in patients diagnosed with lymphoma. Expression of HDV antigen in healthy mice resulted in the development of tertiary lymphoid structures characteristic of the early stages of lymphoma. A sensitive, nested qPCR assay to detect HDV transcript and/or HDV genome in patient samples is also described.

The first flexible tether is windable around the rotatable reel. The base rotate with the reel. The pawl is pivotally connected to the base, and is biased in a first position that allows rotation of the pawl with respect to the cog. The pawl moves to a second position responsive to centrifugal force associated with a velocity of rotation of the rotatable reel exceeding a threshold. The pawl engages the cog in the second position to inhibit relative movement of the pawl with respect to the cog.

By operating over a wide range of speeds, the disclosed pump assembly allows the operator to reduce overall inventory, reduce down time for the well, and avoid other complications associated with replacing a pump assembly or other downhole components.

Shape-constrained gravitation, as induced by the reference point cloud, controls movement of the template point cloud such that at each iteration, the template point cloud better aligns with the reference point cloud in terms of shape. This enables alignment in difficult conditions introduced by change such as presence of outliers and/or missing parts, translation, rotation and scaling. Also, systems and methods of the present disclosure provide an automated method as against conventional methods that depended on manually adjusted parameters.

In some embodiments, an outer housing contains a reservoir of a working fluid, and a PEM conduit extends through the outer housing, the reservoir, and the working fluid so that the working fluid is in contact with an outer surface of the PEM conduit. The conduit can be generally helical or coiled, for example. In some embodiments, the working fluid is molecularly transported across the PEM and disperses into an aerosol flowing through the PEM conduit. As the aerosol flows through the PEM conduit, the aerosol particles act as nucleation sites for the gaseous working fluid, which condenses on the particles, causing the particles to grow in size and making them easier to detect, collect, measure, count, study, or otherwise investigate.
