Abstract: A configuration is implemented via a processor to receive a request to perform a service. Further, the configuration selects a human representative from a plurality of human representatives associated with a communication center based on a computing device associated with the human representative indicating that the human representative is online and available to perform the service. In addition, the configuration routes the request to the computing device associated with the human representative. The configuration also monitors activity of the human representative at the computing device associated with the human representative. Further, the configuration determines that the activity of the human representative is inconsistent with the human representative being available to perform the service. Finally, the configuration reroutes the request to a different computing device associated with a different human representative.

  • Patent number: 10572909
Abstract: The embodiments implement server-side third party content insertion with client-side tracking beacon. The solution embeds third party content within designated breaks of primary content to form a single unified stream that is streamed to a client requesting the primary content. The unified stream allows the client to receive all content without switching between different streams and prevents advertisement blockers running on the client from differentiating the third party content from the primary content and from blocking the third party content. The solution also generates and sends to the client, a configuration containing events and destinations the different content providers define for their respective content. The client monitors for the events specified in the configuration during playback of the unified stream. An event that is triggered causes the client to send a tracking beacon to a content provider specified destination associated with the event.

  • Patent number: 10572978
Abstract: A method for impulse noise detection and removal in color images based on Moran's I statistic using Moran's I vector median filter (MIVMF) which comprises detection and removal components. The detection module determines if a pixel is noise or is noise-free. If it is a noise pixel, the vector median filter (VMF) will be used to remove the noise. This detection capability meets the so-called “switching” mechanism, which only selects noisy pixels for suppression. The inventive filter expedites processing time with the reduced number of vector calculations due to this new detection function, achieved with Moran's I index and the indication of 1-D Laplacian kernels. Compared to other vector-type median filters, the inventive MIVMF was faster in the filtering process and efficient in removing random impulse noise with different noise levels in color images. The MIVMF demonstrated a promising de-noising result based on the criteria of Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Structural Similarity Index Metric (SSIM).

  • Patent number: 10574520
Abstract: A dynamic runtime reconfigurable server its operational logic as it performs tasks for different customers at different times based on different configurations defined by the customers. The embodiments reduce resource overhead associated with reconfiguring and loading the different customer configurations into server memory at runtime. The server selectively loads different customer configurations from storage into server memory as the configurations are accessed in response to received client requests. The server also selectively preloads configurations into memory at periodic server restarts based on configurations accessed during the interval prior to each restart. The restart allows the server to remove old configurations from memory and maintain the most recently accessed ones. Restarting is also performed without interrupting server operation in responding to user requests.

  • Patent number: 10572895
Abstract: A streaming media player receives a media stream from a first broadcast chain. Streaming performance feedback originating from the streaming media player is received at a processing system including an analytics module. The feedback includes identifying information sufficient to verify that a user of the media player is a valid user. In response to verifying that the feedback is from a valid user, identifying information is stripped out, and the feedback is transmitted to a media proposal server. The media proposal server determines, based on the streaming feedback, that media items scheduled for broadcast on a second, different broadcast chain, are to be replaced. Replacement media items, which have been identified, based at least in part, on feedback from the first broadcast chain, are transmitted to the second broadcast chain via a media distribution server.
