Patent number: 12041446Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein describe vehicle-based authentication protocols. An illustrative authentication server may receive a request to authenticate a user connected from a mobile device. The authentication server may transmit a request to the mobile device to transmit geolocation data of the mobile device. In response, the mobile device may transmit a stream of its geolocation data. Based upon the received geolocation data stream, the authentication server may determine that the mobile device in a motion and select a vehicle-based authentication protocol to request geolocation data of a trusted vehicle. The authentication server may compare the mobile device geolocation data stream and the vehicle geolocation data stream to determine a similarity score. If the similarity score is above a threshold, the authentications server may authenticate the user. In some cases, the authentication server may authenticate the user if the mobile device is connected to the trusted vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2022Date of Patent: July 16, 2024Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Ryan Russell, Janelle Dziuk, Gregory Yarbrough, Bryan J. Patent number: 12037880Abstract: Systems and methods of restarting a downhole pump for pumping downhole fluid and located in a wellbore that include determining a pump reverse rotational frequency of a downhole pump caused by downhole fluid flowing in a downhole direction using a phase locked loop. A pump motor is driven at a motor reverse rotational frequency matching the pump reverse rotational frequency. The pump motor is then driven to accelerate the pump reverse rotational frequency and thereby pump the downhole fluid in an uphole direction. The pump motor is then driven to decrease the pump reverse rotational frequency while continuing to pump the downhole fluid in the uphole direction. The pump motor is then driven to change the rotation of the downhole pump to a forward rotation at a pump forward rotational frequency to pump the downhole fluid in the uphole direction.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2021Date of Patent: July 16, 2024Assignee: Halliburton Energy Services, Inc.Inventors: Matthew Myers, Noel Johney, Tom Yohanan, Waylon David Whorton

Patent number: 12038938Abstract: Aspects described herein may relate to methods, systems, and apparatuses that partitions searchable content and distributes the segments across a plurality of processing nodes, which in turn further sub-partitions the partitions for processing by local search actor in order to increase the speed with which a search request from a user is processed. Processing nodes available to receive partitioned searchable content are registered with an external storage device. The external storage device also maintains a global results collector that compiles results from the partitions of searchable content. Respective local collector actors receive compiled results from local search actors for a processing node and the compiled results are sent to the global results collector for compiling for the plurality of processing nodes. Results of the user search request are then provided to the user.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 2023Date of Patent: July 16, 2024Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Hala Salim El-Ali, Rajesh Ranjan Sinha, Raghavendra Dharmavaram, Siddharth Srinivasan, Vipin Dwivedi, Fredrick Allen Crable
