Publication number: 20240232896Abstract: Disclosed herein are aspects for splitting a recurring charge. An example method aspect begins by receiving transaction information specifying a transaction. The method continues by determining whether the transaction is recurring. When the transaction is determined to be recurring, the method creates a split protocol for the transaction based on an input from a user interface of a first user device. The split protocol specifies how to split the transaction with one or more other parties. The method then continues with several operations for each of the respective one or more other parties. Based on the split protocol, the method generates a split request specifying a portion of the transaction the respective other party should pay. The method then sends the split request to a second user device corresponding to the respective other party. The method can repeat the generating and sending steps for subsequent recurrences of the transaction.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 11, 2023Publication date: July 11, 2024Applicant: American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc.Inventors: Ian T. Publication number: 20240233885Abstract: Conventional approaches are not efficient for the screening of active multi component alloy catalysts. Present disclosure provides systems and method that incorporate elements of materials chemistry, artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) and optimization for the screening of such active catalysts for a target chemical reaction. Given a set of elements constituting the alloy and the target reaction, surface atomic structures of several different alloy composition and configurations are constructed. Then, adsorption energy of key reaction intermediates on the surface atomic structures are computed using quantum chemical methods (QCM). Next, an AI/ML model is trained using data obtained from QCM to predict the adsorption energy of the reaction intermediates on the alloy surface. Finally, numerical optimization is used to identify alloy compositions that maximize the activity and selectivity of the catalyst for a target chemical reaction.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 3, 2024Publication date: July 11, 2024Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: Chinmay DAHALE, Sriram GOVERAPET SRINIVASAN, Beena RAI

Publication number: 20240226012Abstract: Novel, nanoparticle-based vaccines are provided that elicit an immune response to a broad range of infectious agents, such as influenza viruses. The nanoparticles comprise a heterogeneous population of fusion proteins, each comprising a monomeric subunit of a self-assembly protein, such as ferritin, joined to one or more immunogenic portions of a protein from an infectious agent, such as influenza virus. The fusion proteins self-assemble to form nanoparticles that display a heterogeneous population of immunogenic portions on their surface. When administered to an individual, such nanoparticles elicit an immune response to different strains, types, subtypes and species with in the same taxonomic family. Thus, such nanoparticles can be used to vaccinate an individual against infection by different Types, subtypes and/or strains of infectious agents.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 25, 2024Publication date: July 11, 2024Applicant: The USA, as represented by the Secretary, Department of Health and Human ServicesInventors: Barney S. Publication number: 20240232188Abstract: Enterprise software relies on numerous types and instances of mathematical and logical calculations for proper functioning, which are formally specified in spreadsheets, known as Calculation Specification (CS) sheets, that provide illustrations of the inputs and outputs of the calculation, and are expressed in inputs and formulae applied on them to get values for outputs. The values for such inputs are retrieved by executing ad hoc queries on respective application's database. Present disclosure provides systems/methods to synthesize code using CS sheets by formulating a Programming By Example (PBE) problem for each input involved in the calculation. A query synthesis technique is then implemented that uses natural language processing and enumerative program synthesis techniques to infer queries corresponding to the PBE problem. These queries are filtered based on whether their output is consistent with expected output in PBE.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 14, 2023Publication date: July 11, 2024Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: AMEY ZARE, VENKATESH RAMANATHAN, ASIA AKHTAR, ADVAITA ABHIJIT DATAR, ATHARV HEMANT SHINGEWAR, NAKSHATRA GUPTA

Publication number: 20240231738Abstract: In some embodiments, a shared presentation, which includes a set of spatial regions, is transmitted to user devices associated with users. Then, based on a user input indicating a first spatial region of the shared presentation for a first user, first auxiliary data (e.g., auxiliary video stream of the shared presentation) that corresponds to the first spatial region is generated.
