Abstract: Embodiments of the invention described a method for processing an ACH transfer in compliance with NACHA regulations. The method comprises receiving a request, through a phone call from a customer, to initiate an ACH transfer, the request including at least an account identifier and a payment amount. The method confirms the ACH transfer using speech recognition software and an interactive voice response unit, wherein the customer's identity, the date of transfer, the account identifier, the payment amount, a contact phone number, and the date of the confirmation, are confirmed by the customer using a verbal response recognized by the speech recognition software. This method also includes, recording, using a recording server, the verbal response of the customer in a sound file, tagging the sound file with at least the field of an account identifier, and storing the sound file for at least two years in a data repository.
Abstract: The dual stripper device of the invention has a hollow body formed for coaxial connection to the wellhead which provides for unobstructed passage of a slick cable, such as a data transmitting cable which transmits data in real time to the well surface. Disposed coaxially within the hollow body is a resilient wiper element with an internal bore formed along its longitudinal axis for passage of the slick cable. A hydraulically actuated piston applies a compressive force to the wiper element so that a pressure seal is formed between the wiper element and the cable when the wiper element is sufficiently compressed by the piston. The seal can be maintained during dynamic movement of the slick cable through the wiper element. A mirror image backup wiper assembly can be actuated in the case of failure of the first wiper assembly.
Abstract: A method comprising: providing a stimulation fluid that comprises a stimulating gas and a consolidating agent; and injecting the stimulation fluid into a portion of a liquid-sensitive formation at a pressure sufficient to create or enhance a pathway therein. Suitable consolidating agents include aqueous tackifying agents, curable compositions, and noncurable and nonaqueous consolidating compositions.

Abstract: Systems and methods for retrieving household data based on an origination identifier. In an embodiment, an origination identifier of a communication is captured. The origination identifier is indexed into a master table comprising a plurality of records. Each of the records comprises an association between an origination identifier and a universal database linkage key, and each universal database linkage key comprises an index into one or more databases. A universal database linkage key associated with the captured origination identifier is retrieved and indexed into one or more databases. Household data associated with the captured origination identifier is retrieved from the one or more databases and communicated to at least one recipient.
Abstract: A setting tool for setting a well tool in a wellbore includes a setting mechanism which is operative to apply a setting force to set the well tool, and an orientation indicator which indicates an orientation of the setting tool. A method of setting a well tool and engaging an assembly with the well tool includes setting the well tool in a wellbore utilizing a setting tool which includes an orientation indicator, and then engaging the assembly with the well tool, thereby fixing an orientation of the assembly relative to the well tool. A method of azimuthally orienting a whipstock in a wellbore includes setting an anchor in the wellbore, the anchor including an alignment device, and indicating an azimuthal orientation of the alignment device relative to the wellbore. The anchor setting and azimuthal orientation indicating are performed using only a single trip into the wellbore.
Abstract: A subsea safety system (50) for use during a well treatment operation. The subsea safety system (50) includes a tubular string having an inner flow passage (112). At least one valve assembly (116, 134) is positioned within the tubular string. The valve assembly (116, 134) is operable between open and closed positioned to selectively permit and prevent fluid flow therethrough. A frangible liner (134) is disposed within the valve assembly (116, 134). The frangible liner (134) has a close fitting but not fluid tight relationship with the valve assembly (116, 134). The frangible liner (134) is operable to protect the valve assembly (116, 134) from particle flow during the well treatment operation. In addition, the frangible liner (134) is operable to shatter responsive to closure of the valve assembly (116, 134), thereby allowing full operation of the valve assembly (116, 134).
Abstract: A method of utilizing voice authorization includes providing a processor and receiving demographic information related to an applicant for an insurance policy. The method also includes receiving a voice authentication from the applicant related to the demographic information, receiving, from the applicant, insurance information, and underwriting, using the processor and the insurance information, the insurance policy. The method further includes providing policy information to the applicant, receiving a voice authorization from the applicant related to the policy information, and issuing the insurance policy.

Abstract: An apparatus for logging in a borehole comprises a longitudinal body. A pad is coupled to and radially extendable from the longitudinal body toward a wall of the borehole. The radially extendable pad comprises a sensor. The radially extendable pad is rotatable about a longitudinal axis by a predetermined angle. A method for logging a borehole comprises extending a longitudinal body into the borehole; disposing a sensor in a radially extendable pad; coupling the radially extendable pad to the longitudinal body such that the radially extendable pad is rotatable about a longitudinal axis by a predetermined angle; and extending the radially extendable and rotatable pad toward a wall of the borehole.
