  • Patent number: 12345145
Abstract: A method of controlling a pumping stage of a fracturing fleet at a wellsite with a set of diesel pumps and at least one electric pump to smooth the flowrate transition to an operational setpoint with a higher flowrate. An optimization process communicatively connected to the plurality of pumping units can iterate an interim setpoint with a transfer function model to each pumping unit. The transfer function model can generate a smooth flowrate transition by decreasing the flowrate of at least one pump unit while increasing the flowrate to the remaining pump units.

  • Patent number: 12346844
Abstract: Input data that includes one or more observations made at one or more corresponding time slices is received. The input data is provided to one or more time-based prediction models that predict one or more values for one or more future time slices. One or more randomness compensating factors are determined. The one or more randomness compensating factors correspond to one or more features indicative of one or more events associated with the one or more corresponding time slices. Based at least in part on the determining of the one or more randomness compensating factors and the prediction of the one or more time-based prediction models, a second one or more values for at least one of the one or more future time slices are predicted. In response to the predicting of the second one or more values, an indication associated with the predicted second one or more values are presented to a user computer device.

  • Patent number: 12346433
Abstract: The systems and methods use a gradient boosted decision tree, which may be trained in data sparse environments. The system also uses a data transformation step to collapse complex data into a standardized feature input (e.g., a fixed length feature input) that may be processed by the model with a constant (or near-constant) lookup time and with minimal latency. Finally, the system generates a dual variable output that provides both a metric of whether a communication is fraudulent and/or unauthorized as well as a confidence level of that determination.

  • Patent number: 12345120
Abstract: A downhole sealing tool and method use a swellable material (e.g., a swellable rubber or a swellable metallic material) with increased surface area for faster reaction with an activation fluid. In one example, a swellable metallic sealing element and actuator are carried on a tool mandrel for lowering into a wellbore on a conveyance. The sealing element includes a plurality of expandable metal wires supported along the tool mandrel. The expandable metal wires comprise a swellable metallic material that swells in response to exposure to an activation fluid. The actuator is used to separate at least a portion of the expandable metal wires, to increase a surface area exposed to the activation fluid and thereby accelerate the reaction.

  • Patent number: 12346975
Abstract: To enable efficient processing of an insurance claim that is submitted by a client, the presently disclosed embodiments include systems and methods that enable an insurance computing system to autonomously assess the risk of fraud associated with a claim by generating a risk score. The risk score may provide an indication of a likelihood of fraud associated with the claim based on similar insurance claims in the same geographical area, client information indicative of a likelihood to commit fraud, and/or a type of the claim. The insurance computing system may compare the risk score with a threshold number, and if the threshold number is exceeded, the insurance computing system may prompt the client to contact a service representative to further process or validate the claim. Otherwise, if the threshold number is not exceeded, the insurance computing system may continue processing the claim autonomously.

  • Patent number: 12344510
Abstract: The present disclosure presents systems and methods for assisting a crane operator. An imaging system automatically images each building material object contained within a shakeout field on a construction site and processes the images to determine each object's identifying indicium and its geometric properties. These values are compared with a construction site database to ensure that all necessary building materials are present. A positioning device tracks, in real time, the location of the imaging system, the location of structural members within the shakeout field, and/or other important features of the job site, such as obstacles that the crane operator will need to avoid while lifting a structural member from its initial location to its destination location.
