Abstract: A card for storing both emergency information and payment information is disclosed. The card can be used by an emergency responder to retrieve emergency information for the user. The emergency information can enable the emergency responder to better render aid to the user. The card can have one or more processors, a sensor, and a memory in communication with the one or more processors and storing an application thereon. The application can cause the card to receive a request from a user device (e.g., from an emergency medical technician, or EMT) to access emergency information stored in the memory, transmit a security challenge to the user device, authenticate a received response to the security challenge from the user device, and transmit the emergency information to the user device.

Abstract: Systems, methods and media are directed to automatically generating a recommendation. Data describing a configuration of a production infrastructure is received, the production infrastructure running the system operating in the production environment. One or more metrics data values indicative of a performance of the system operating in the production environment is retrieved. Expected performance values of the system are received. An augmented decisioning engine compares the metrics data values with the expected performance values. The augmented decisioning engine is trained to provide a recommended configuration of the production infrastructure. Based on the comparing, the augmented decisioning engine is trained to improve subsequent recommendations of configuration of the production infrastructure through a feedback process.

Abstract: A vaporizing assembly for an aerosol generating system includes a sheet heating element and a delivery device configured to deliver a liquid aerosol-forming substrate from a liquid storing portion to the sheet heating element. The sheet heating element is spaced apart from the delivery device and is configured to heat the delivered liquid aerosol forming substrate.

Abstract: Industrial processes and equipment are prone to operational changes and faulty operation of such processes and equipment can adversely affect output of the overall setup. Existing systems for monitoring and fault detection consider individual instances of data for fault detection, which may not be suitable for industrial processes. Disclosed herein is a system and a method for anomaly detection in an industrial enterprise. The system collects data from a plurality of sensors as input. The system processes the collected data along temporal dimension, during which the data is split to multiple segments of fixed window size. Data in each segment is processed to identify anomalous data, and data in segments identified as containing the anomalous data is further processed to identify one or more sensors that are faulty and are contributing to the anomalous data.

Abstract: A liquid dispensing system, a liquid flow control assembly or member and a liquid dispenser. Preferably, the liquid dispensing system includes a single hot water tank. A liquid flow control assembly operably connected to the hot water tank is configured to direct only water from an upper portion of the hot water tank to a flavored beverage brewer (e.g., coffee or tea brewer) so that the flavored beverage is at an optimal elevated temperature when dispensed. The liquid flow control assembly or member is further configured to mix water from an upper portion of the hot water tank with water from a lower portion of the hot water tank and provide the water mixture to a hot water dispensing nozzle or outlet of the liquid dispenser to reduce the temperature of the water directed to the hot water dispensing nozzle or outlet.

Abstract: Fiber additives that may be useful as lost circulation materials for mitigating fluid loss and/or as bridging agents or diverting agents in subterranean treatment fluids such as drilling fluids. In some embodiments, the fiber additives include a fiber and calcium carbonate disposed on at least a portion of the outer surface of the fiber. In some embodiments, the methods include providing a treatment fluid that includes the base fluid and the fiber additives, and introducing the treatment fluid into at least a portion of a subterranean formation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for clustering data are disclosed. For example, a system may include one or more memory units storing instructions and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations may include receiving data from a client device and generating preliminary clustered data based on the received data, using a plurality of embedding network layers. The operations may include generating a data map based on the preliminary clustered data using a meta-clustering model. The operations may include determining a number of clusters based on the data map using the meta-clustering model and generating final clustered data based on the number of clusters using the meta-clustering model. The operations may include and transmitting the final clustered data to the client device.

Abstract: Methods, computing devices, and MRI systems that reduce artifacts produced by Maxwell gradient terms in TSE imaging using non-rectilinear trajectories are disclosed. With this technology, a RF excitation pulse is generated to produce transverse magnetization that generates a NMR signal and a series of RF refocusing pulses to produce a corresponding series of NMR spin-echo signals. An original encoding gradient waveform comprising a non-rectilinear trajectory is modified by adjusting a portion of the original encoding gradient waveform or introducing a zero zeroth-moment waveform segment at end(s) of the original encoding gradient waveform. During an interval adjacent to each of the series of RF refocusing pulses a first gradient pulse is generated. At least one of the first gradient pulses is generated according to the modified gradient waveform. An image is constructed from generated digitized samples of the NMR spin-echo signals obtained.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for associating an asset with a sort location, the system comprising a conveyor belt assembly and a user device configured to be worn by a user. The conveyor belt assembly comprises: an acquisition device and a plurality of stripes defining a non-repeating pattern, the plurality of stripes comprising a plurality of unique sets of stripes. The acquisition device is configured to capture image data comprising asset identifier data and conveyor mechanism data, the conveyor mechanism data including one of the plurality of unique sets of stripes. The user device is configured to capture conveyor mechanism data including one of the plurality of unique sets of stripes; remotely receive asset identifier data associated with the user device captured conveyor mechanism data; and generate and display to the user, relative to the asset, at least one visual indicator of one or more sort instructions for the asset.

Abstract: A dispenser bottle containing liquid may be mounted to a wall by a mounting assembly including a base and a carriage plate. Amounting bracket may be anchored to the wall and the carriage plate is coupled to the mounting bracket and is spring biased toward an extended configuration relative to the mounting bracket. A release pin maintains the carriage plate and base in a retracted configuration. A collar projects from an upper end of the mounting bracket to capture a neck of the bottle. A projection extends upwardly from the base and into a socket on the bottom of the bottle when seated on the base. The combination of the mating socket and projection at the base and the collar around the neck of the bottle inhibits removal of the bottle from the mounting assembly when in the retracted configuration.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to systems and methods for implementing a mobile tokenization hub with a common tokenization capabilities (CTC) module that may provide tokenization for various entities in various contexts. For example, the CTC module can provide and store tokens for mobile payment transactions, transit transactions, digital wallet applications, merchant point of sale (POS) applications, personalization services, and the like.

Abstract: A hydraulic set packer system includes an outer sleeve and a mandrel extending through the outer sleeve. The mandrel has a setting port extending through a radial wall of the mandrel, and the setting port is configured to provide fluid communication from a central bore of the mandrel to a setting chamber formed between the outer sleeve and the mandrel. The system also includes a piston configured to move axially along the mandrel in response to a setting pressure in the setting chamber. The piston is configured to drive at least one radially actuatable component to actuate in a radial direction to engage a wellbore wall. Further, the system includes a pressure isolation assembly disposed in the setting chamber. The pressure isolation assembly is configured to move axially with respect to the mandrel from a first position to a second position to seal the setting port.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes methods and compositions for improving leaf quality in low-alkaloid tobacco plants, e.g., by combining inducible promoters and non-coding RNAs for suppression of an ornithine decarboxylase (ODC) gene. Also provided are low alkaloid tobacco plants with normal, suppressed, or otherwise altered polyamine levels. Further provided are tobacco plants with altered total alkaloid, nicotine levels, commercially acceptable leaf grade, their development via breeding or transgenic approaches, and production of tobacco products from these tobacco plants.

Abstract: Image transformation tasks such as cropping, text addition etc. are common across industries. Each industry has different business context and demands the image transformations be performed aligned to the business context. This disclosure relates to a system and method for an adaptive image transformation for a given context and maintaining aesthetic sense of the transformed image. Herein, the system is configurable and adaptive to any business context or domain. The system learns the context from available domain samples and creates an automated workflow of context-aware transformation tasks that maintains both the content and aesthetics demands of the context. Further, a saliency map is extracted for the identified RoI to append a text to the RoI based on the extracted saliency map, the calculated similarity metric for various content and aesthetic factors and various preferences of the user.

Abstract: A management system for controlling a wind turbine according to prescribed rules and a safety system, separate from the management system, for monitoring the wind turbine on the basis of operational characteristic values, wherein the safety system transfers the wind turbine to a safe plant state independently of the management system if safety-critical operational characteristic values violate safety parameters stored in the safety system, in order to change at least one safety parameter stored in the safety system a parameter block comprising the at least one safety parameter and at least two safety features is supplied to the safety system and accepted by the safety system only after a positive check on the safety features, wherein the check on at least one of the safety features requires comparison against check information available directly on the wind turbine.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generation and use of vendor management platform architectures are disclosed. A compliance component may be utilized to receive user input data indicating supply contracts between a client and a vendor. The user input data may be utilized to determine insurable obligations associated with the supply contract and provide indications as to whether or not the vendor is compliant with the insurable obligation required by the supply contract. An exposure assessment component may be utilized to determine an exposure score associated with a client account and/or a vendor account based on various compliance factors, spending amounts, and/or properties associated with at least one of goods and/or services that a vendor will supply to a client.

Abstract: Methods and systems described herein may retrieve a data lineage associated with a first computing system comprising a plurality of services and data elements. The data lineage may indicate a plurality of interrelationships between the plurality of services and data elements. Based on the data lineage, a visualization of the first computing system may be generated. Based on the one or more interrelationships between a first data element and the plurality of services and data elements, one or more services and data elements affected by the change to the first data element may be identified. Based on the one or more services and data elements affected by the change to the first data element, the visualization of the first computing system may be updated to indicate the impact to the first computing system.
