Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for improvements in cloud services by sharing estimated and actual usage data of cloud services recipients with the cloud services provider. The sharing of this data allows the cloud services provider to better apportion cloud resources between multiple cloud services recipients. By analyzing information included in the shared data (e.g., information about one or more applications that use the cloud resources), the cloud services provider may categorize the applications and/or the functions of those applications into authorized and unauthorized uses, the determination of which, is used to further efficiently apportion the cloud services resources.

Abstract: Systems and methods for processing image data representing a document to remove deformations contained in the document are disclosed. A system may include one or more memory devices storing instructions and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions. The instructions may instruct the system to provide, to a machine learning system, a training dataset representing a plurality of documents containing a plurality of training deformations. The instructions may also instruct the system to use the machine learning system to process image data representing a target document containing a target document deformation. The machine learning system may generate restored image data representing the target document with the target document deformation removed. The instructions may further instruct the system to provide the restored image data to at least one of a graphical user interface, an image storage device, or a computer vision system.

Abstract: System and methods for nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) fluid substitution are provided. NMR logging measurements of a reservoir rock formation are acquired. Fluid zones within the reservoir rock formation are identified based on the acquired measurements. The fluid zones include water zones comprising water-saturated rock and at least one oil zone comprising rock saturated with multiphase fluids. Water zones having petrophysical characteristics matching those of the oil zone(s) within the formation are selected. NMR responses to multiphase fluids resulting from a displacement of water by hydrocarbon in the selected water zones are simulated. A synthetic dataset including NMR T2 distributions of multiphase fluids is generated based on the simulation. The synthetic dataset is used to train a machine learning (ML) model to substitute NMR T2 distributions of multiphase fluids with those of water. The trained ML model is applied to the NMR logging measurements acquired for the oil zone(s).

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, to detect system problems using social media. One of the method includes monitoring posts on a plurality of social network sites. The method includes identifying posts that include at least one of a plurality of keywords, at least some of the keywords indicative of system problems. The method includes tagging the identified posts. The method includes determining, based on the tagged posts, that a system problem is occurring. The method also includes raising an alert regarding the system problem.

Abstract: Aspects described herein may provide detection of a feature of an authorization code image (ACI) incorporated onto a document, thereby allowing for validation of the document. According to some aspects, these and other benefits may be achieved by an instance of a variable protocol that may specify how to generate the ACI to have a particular feature as well as how to detect the particular feature of the ACI. A recipient of the document incorporating the ACI may detect the particular feature of the ACI. If the detected feature matches an expected feature, then the ACI and the document may be determined to be authentic.

Abstract: Systems as described herein may include authorizing the sharing of data and sharing data between a variety of systems. A request to share data may be provided to a first system. The system may create sharing session data on a distributed ledger accessible by a number of systems. Sharing session data may be stored using a transaction stored on a distributed ledger. A second system may obtain the sharing session account and verify the sharing session. On verification of the sharing session, a variety of data may be shared between the systems identified in the sharing session data. The sharing session data may be established between two or more systems. The distributed ledger may be maintained by the systems themselves and/or a distributed network system. In a variety of embodiments, encrypted data may be stored and/or obtained using the distributed ledger.

Abstract: There is a need for more effective and efficient document processing solution. Accordingly, various embodiments of the present invention introduce various document processing optimization solutions. In one example, a method includes identifying a plurality of input pages each associated with a related input document of a plurality of input documents; for each input page of the plurality of input pages, generating a segmented page; processing each segmented page using a trained encoder model to generate a fixed-dimensional representation of the input page; determining, based at least in part on each fixed-dimensional representation, a plurality of document clusters; determining a plurality of processing groups, where each processing group is associated with one or more related document clusters of the plurality of document clusters; and performing the document processing optimization based at least in part on the plurality of processing groups.

Abstract: Secure protocols for external-facing authentication are provided for both user templates stored on their devices and the biometric measurement captured by external sensors of an access device. The protocols provide different levels of security, ranging from passive security with some leakage to active security with no leakage. A packing technique is also provided. Zero-knowledge techniques are used during enrollment to validate a norm of user templates and knowledge of the plaintext biometric template. Once enrolled, the verifier can sign the encrypted template for use in a later matching phase with an access device.

Abstract: Conventional task planners assume that the task-plans provided are executable, hence these are not task-aware. Present disclosure alleviates the downward refinability assumption, that is, planning can be decomposed separate symbolic and continuous planning steps by introducing bi-level planning, a plan which is a series of actions that the robot needs to take to achieve the goal task is curated. Firstly, abstract symbolic actions are converted to continuous vectors and used therein to enable interaction with an environment. Images of objects placed in the environment are captured and concepts are learnt from the captured images and attributes of objects are detected. A hierarchical scene graph is generated from the concepts and attributes wherein the graph includes interpretable sub-symbolic representations and from these interpretable symbolic representations are obtained for identifying goal task.

In an embodiment, a method can include presenting, via a user device, at least one of a plurality of search filters or a plurality of website records. Further, the method can include receiving, via a touch screen interface of the user device, a user gesture comprising a graphical representation of a search filter input, the user gesture being provided over at least one of a search filter of the plurality of search filters or a website record of the plurality of website records. Additionally, the method can include determining the search filter input from the user gesture, filtering the plurality of web site records based on the search filter input, and presenting, via the user device, a filtered plurality of website records.

Present disclosure provides digital twin based systems and methods for business continuity plan and safe return to workplace wherein a simulation-based data-driven evidence-backed approach is implemented that captures details pertaining to virus, individualistic characteristics of employees and their dependents, offices, locations of the employees and offices, and various pandemic control measures that are in effect and need to be explored using a hybrid modelling and simulation approach that combines fine-grained actor/agent model and coarse-grained stock-and-flow model.

Abstract: Failure analysis of industrial plants are stored in various types of documents associated with industrial plant. The documents are used by operators of plant to address any deviation that is active in plant. The operator generally has prior knowledge of relevant processes, equipment and sensors described in a deviation scenario in these documents. However, a system that is envisaged to aid operator in real-time does not have this information readily available as this knowledge is spread across documents. Currently available systems manually curate failure knowledge thereby making the process time consuming and prone to human errors. Present disclosure provides method and system for performing extracting and collating failure knowledge from diverse sources in industrial plant.

Product offering systems may include sending an offer to a customer that possesses a mobile computing device and has agreed to receive offers for products via the mobile computing device. Agreeing to receive offers would result in the unique data about the customer being available to offer provider. Unique customer data may include data related to the customers wireless service provider or from a financial account in a financial institution, and collecting customer data about the customer, wherein the customer data comprises financial data and personal data. Product offering systems may further include registering a wireless computing device of the customer to able the device to receive the offer, and determining opportunities to send the offer to the customer by monitoring the customer and the customer data. Product offering systems may also include sending the offer to the customer's registered device based on the determination of opportunities.

Abstract: State of the art vehicle route optimization approaches fail to handle growing customer needs. The disclosure herein generally relates to route planning, and, more particularly, to a method and system for vehicle route optimization. The system obtains information on (i) a network of customers, wherein the network of customers comprises nodes corresponding to a plurality of customer locations and a depot, and edges representing connections between the customer locations, (ii) distance between each pair of customer locations among the plurality of customer locations, (iii) one or more orders received from one or more of the customers, (iv) service start time, (v) service end time, and (vi) servicing time, as input data, and then by processing the input data, performs vehicle route optimization at different levels, till an optimized route plan is obtained.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed are directed to a computing system that performs steps to automatically identify risk control features and entities in a risk control document. The computing system regenerates, by a semantic prediction machine learning (ML) model, phrases in a risk control document. The computing system then classifies, by the semantic prediction ML model, risk control features associated with the regenerated phrases. Subsequently, the computing system corrects, by a discriminative natural language processing (NLP) model, the classified risk control features based on the phrases and the regenerated phrases.

Abstract: A building structure with a base unit and building unit that can be moved relative to the base unit is provided with a joint cover, which bridges a compensating joint between the building unit and base unit, supported on the building unit and on the base unit. At least one of the two support structures has sliding partners, one of which is a sliding partner paired with the building or base unit in a fixed position and the other of which is a sliding partner paired with the joint cover in a fixed position. One of the sliding partners is designed as a sliding ramp in a region such that when the sliding ramp contacts the paired sliding partner, an approaching movement of the building unit towards the base unit raises the joint cover. The sliding ramp may be designed with a continuously increasing pitch.

Consistent disclosed embodiments, a system for managing merchandising cards may include one or more memory devices storing instructions and one or more processors configured to acquire, from a device over a network, a plurality of locations associated with the device, the device locations being acquired at different instances in time within a predetermined period of time. Additionally, the one or more processors may be configured to calculate an overall merchant confidence rating for a merchant using the device locations. Further, the one or more processors may be configured to, based on the overall merchant confidence rating, determine that the merchant matches a merchant that is associated with merchandising card, and send a reminder a user of the device.
