Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed herein for authenticating a user. A security device may use an object associated with a user and a device of the user to authenticate the user, for example, if the user has forgotten a password. A user may insert the object (e.g., a card, or other object) into the security device and may select an option to authenticate via a device that is trusted by both the security device and the user, rather than authenticating by entering a password at the security device.

Abstract: The method includes first heating at least one plant material within a first target temperature range for one or more first durations of time, the at least one plant material including at least one constituent compound, and second heating the at least one plant material within a second target temperature range for one or more second durations of time, the second heating causing at least a partial vaporization of the at least one constituent compound, the second target temperature range being greater than the first target temperature range.

Abstract: A nicotine lozenge includes a body that is partially or wholly receivable in an oral cavity. The body includes a soluble-fiber matrix and nicotine or a derivative thereof dispersed in the soluble-fiber matrix. A nicotine lozenge may include at least 40 weight percent of soluble fiber. Soluble fiber in a nicotine lozenge may include maltodextrin. The nicotine lozenge is adapted to release the nicotine or a derivative thereof from the body when the body is received within the oral cavity of an adult consumer and exposed to saliva. A method of making nicotine lozenges includes forming a molten mixture of at least 40 weight percent soluble fiber, nicotine, and less than 15 weight percent water while maintaining a mixture temperature of less than 150° C. and portioning the molten mixture into a plurality of nicotine lozenges. The ingredients can be mixed to form the molten mixture in an extruder.

Abstract: Systems and methods for architecture embeddings for efficient dynamic synthetic data generation are disclosed. The disclosed systems and methods may include a system for generating synthetic data configured to perform operations. The operations may include retrieving a set of rules associated with a first data profile and generating, by executing a hyperparameter search, a plurality of hyperparameter sets for generative adversarial networks (GANs) that satisfy the set of rules. The operations may include generating mappings between the hyperparameter sets and the first data profile and storing the mappings in a hyperparameter library. The operations may include receiving a request for synthetic data, the request indicating a second data profile and selecting, from the mappings in the hyperparameter library, a hyperparameter set mapped to the second data profile. The operations may include building a GAN using the selected hyperparameter set and generating, using the GAN, a synthetic data set.

Abstract: Systems and methods for integrating application components in a web application are disclosed. The method includes: executing the web application, the web application configured to display a web page element; receiving, by a library component of the web application, a request from the web application to retrieve a list of one or more application component definitions loadable by the web application; retrieving, by the library component, the list of one or more application component definitions from a manifest; receiving a request to load an application component of the one or more application components; binding, by the library component, attributes and events for each of the one or more application components from the web application; appending the application component into the web page element; and rendering the application component and the web page element using the web browser so that the application component is displayed in the web browser.

Abstract: Techniques for providing indirect local geo-positioning using AR markers are disclosed. A first moveable AR marker can be located or found by a computing device. A location of the first moveable AR marker can be known and shared with the computing device. The location of the first moveable AR marker can be based on distance between the first moveable AR marker and a fixed AR marker. A distance to the first moveable AR marker can be determined. Based on the known location of the first moveable AR marker and the distance to the first moveable AR marker from the computing device, an estimate of the location of the computing device can be determined without having line-of-sight (LOS) to the fixed AR marker.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to autofilling card data from a contactless card to a form of a computing device. An application may determine that a payment field of a form has received focus. The application may then receive encrypted data from a communications interface of a contactless card associated with an account. The application may then receive, from a server, verification of the encrypted data. The application may then receive, from the server, an encrypted account number associated with the account, and decrypt the encrypted account number to yield the account number. An autofill service of an operating system (OS) executing on the processor circuit, may then autofill the account number to the payment field of the form.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed as an optimization data system for eliminating correlated independent variables programmatically from data with ranked exclusion scores. The system can obtain an initial dataset comprising variables, determine a set of correlation values by analyzing linear correlation between the variables, generate a correlation matrix using at least in part the set of correlation values and corresponding variables from the initial data, calculate exclusion scores for the variables in the correlation matrix that exhibit multicollinearity, and update the initial dataset by removing at least one variable with the highest exclusion score from the variables to generate an updated dataset comprising optimized variables. The steps for correlation and elimination of variables are iterated until an updated dataset without any correlation is obtained and then a machine learning model may be trained using the updated dataset.

The air intake assembly may at least partially define an air inlet that extends at least partially around an outer surface of the vapor generator assembly. The air inlet may be an arcuate air inlet or an annular air inlet. The air intake assembly may at least partially define an inlet channel extending from the air inlet into an interior of the vapor generator assembly to at least partially establish fluid communication between the arcuate air inlet and the vaporizer assembly. The inlet channel may extend coaxially in relation to a longitudinal axis of the vapor generator assembly.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to copying data to a clipboard of a mobile device from a contactless card using NFC. A mobile device may issue a request to read data from the contactless card. The contactless card may generate encrypted data in response to the request. The mobile device may receive the encrypted data via NFC and transmit the encrypted data to a server for verification. The server may verify the encrypted data and transmit an indication of an account number for the contactless card to the mobile device. The mobile device may then copy the account number to a clipboard of the mobile device.

Abstract: Methods and systems are discussed for location-based guidance based on interior conditions at a plurality of locations. For example, the system may receive, from a user device of a user, a user request to access a first service. The system may retrieve a plurality of locations that provide the first service. The system may retrieve an average density for respective first queuing areas at each of the plurality of locations at a first time interval. The system may, in response to determining a subset of the plurality of locations where the average density for the respective first queuing areas at the first time interval exceed the threshold average density, generate for display, on the user device, a recommendation for a location from the subset at which to access the first service at the first time interval.

Abstract: Monoclonal antibodies that specifically bind gp42 of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) are described. The antibodies are capable of blocking fusion of EBV-infected cells and neutralizing EBV infection. Use of the EBV-specific monoclonal antibodies, and conjugates thereof, for the treatment and prophylaxis of EBV infection is also described.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to an agricultural composition comprising paraformaldehyde, a nitrification inhibitor, urea, an ammonia source, or a combination thereof and one or more reaction products prepared from paraformaldehyde, a nitrification inhibitor, urea, an ammonia source, and optionally a solvent, wherein the one or more reaction products is present in an amount of at least 20 wt % of the total weight of the agricultural composition. Abstract: In some aspects, methods and systems may use consumption timestamps to ensure consistency between data used during inference and data used to train a machine learning model. Specifically, methods and systems may generate a consumption timestamp corresponding to the time at which the streaming data is received or inserted into a database. The consumption timestamp may be used as a synchronization point for any related data that may be requested (e.g., via an API). After streaming data is received, the consumption timestamp may be generated and assigned to any data that is requested in connection with the streaming data. The streaming data, related data, and consumption timestamp may be included in a data snapshot that is provided to a machine learning model for inference (e.g., real-time inference) or training.

Abstract: A linear electromechanical actuator with a failsafe design may be used with a downhole flow control system. In one example, a subsurface safety valve for controlling flow of production fluids includes a valve closure element moveable between an open position and a closed position in response to a linear movement of an actuating member. A biasing member biases the valve closure element to the closed position. A power section with an electrically-powered motor drives a rotation. A drive section coupled to the power section converts the rotation of the motor to the linear movement of the actuating member to at least open the subsurface safety valve. A clutch selectively decouples the power section from the drive section in response to a power loss.

Abstract: An electrically heated aerosol-generating device includes a storage portion configured to contain an aerosol-forming substrate and having a fluid permeable internal surface surrounding an open-ended passage extending through the cartridge. The device includes a housing having a cavity for receiving the cartridge, and a heater assembly positioned in the cavity. The heater assembly includes an elongate support member connected to the housing and arranged to extend into the open-ended passage of a cartridge inserted in the cavity. The heater assembly also includes a plurality of electric heaters fixed to and spaced along the length of the elongate support member.

Abstract: Successful application of a coupon code on an e-commerce website is detected via network request tracking and page data tracking. Upon coupon application, the coupon code is stored, for example in a server-based database. The coupon code is then automatically applied to subsequent e-commerce purchases whose parameters match the requirements for the coupon. The coupon can be automatically applied to purchases made by the same user and/or other users, as applicable.

Abstract: A system and techniques are described herein for providing authentication. The technique includes registering user authentication data such as biometrics data with a communication device. The authentication data is linked to an account or service provider, and is used to verify the identity of the user when accessing the account. The communication device may obtain a public/private key pair, for which the public key may be stored on a secure remote server. When the user attempts to access the account or service provider, the user may provide the authentication data to authenticate the user to the communication device. Thereafter, the communication device may sign an authentication indicator using the private key and send the authentication indicator to the secure remote server. Upon verification of the signature using the public key, the secure remote server may grant access to the user, for example, by releasing a token.
