Abstract: Described are a system, method, and computer program product for user network activity anomaly detection. The method includes receiving network resource data associated with network resource activity of a plurality of users and generating a plurality of layers of a multilayer graph from the network resource data. Each layer of the plurality of layers may include a plurality of nodes, which are associated with users, connected by a plurality of edges, which are representative of node interdependency. The method also includes generating a plurality of adjacency matrices from the plurality of layers and generating a merged single layer graph based on a weighted sum of the plurality of adjacency matrices. The method further includes generating anomaly scores for each node in the merged single layer graph and determining a set of anomalous users based on the anomaly scores.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for the direct sharing and use of transaction data separately from transaction authorization processes. Transaction metadata associated with a transaction may be received and validated. Authorization information corresponding to the transaction may be received. The degree to which the transaction metadata is tested may be based on a predicted time of receipt of the authorization information. The transaction metadata and authorization information may be correlated. A computing device may determine whether to authorize the financial transaction based on the authorization information and the correlated transaction metadata. All or portions of the transaction metadata may be provided to one or more users after the transaction has been authorized or denied.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described for use with a portion of plant material that includes at least one active ingredient. A vaporizing unit includes a heating element configured to heat the plant material, and a sensor configured to detect an indication of airflow rate through the vaporizing unit. Control circuitry is configured to receive an indication of the airflow rate through the vaporizing unit, and, in response thereto, to determine a smoking profile that is desired by the user. The control circuitry drives the heating element to vaporize the active ingredient of the plant material by heating the plant material according to the determined smoking profile. The control circuitry dynamically updates the smoking profile in response to changes in airflow rate over the course of a smoking session. Other applications are also described.

Abstract: A patient support apparatus, such as a hospital bed, communicates with an electronic medical record (EMR) system in healthcare facility. The hospital bed includes a patient support structure to support a patient, a graphical user interface coupled to the patient support structure, and control circuitry coupled to the graphical user interface. The graphical user interface displays at least one input that may be used by a caregiver to chart data into an electronic medical record (EMR) of a patient supported by the patient support structure.

Abstract: A highly sensitive and specific reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) assay to detect ZIKV nucleic acid in biological samples is described. The disclosed assay is capable of detecting as few as one RNA copy per ?l and can be performed in a clinical or field setting with minimal equipment and technological expertise. Oligonucleotide primers and kits for detecting ZIKV nucleic acid are also described.

Abstract: A plunger actuated valve system is provided. The plunger actuated valve system includes a discharge valve, a stem extending from the discharge valve, and a suction valve coupled with the stem. The suction valve can be operable to abut against a plunger as the plunger translates in a first direction such that the suction valve is in a closed configuration. The suction valve includes a latching component operable to abut against a catch surface of the plunger when the plunger translates in a second direction opposite of the first direction such that the suction valve translates in the second direction.

Abstract: A process for making patterned cigarette wrapper includes the steps of: preparing a printing solution including the steps of: mixing at least water and a starch to form a starch mixture, heating the starch mixture to a temperature of at least about 180° F. preferably for at least about 30 minutes to release amylopectin and amylose, adding propylene glycol to the starch mixture, and mixing the starch mixture and propylene glycol to form a printing solution, wherein the solution is maintained and applied at elevated temperature (120° F. to 150° F.). The process also includes providing a base web of wrapper and applying the printing solution to the wrapper in a predetermined pattern.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for scanning a mobile computing device for applications produced by partnered entities and providing benefits when those applications are found. An exemplary system does this by accessing a list of applications and associating each application with a respective entity which has a rewards program linked to a specific entity. The system issues a request for application information of the applications which are installed on the mobile computing device, identifies applications that match the list of applications in the data record, and generates at least one notification based on the identified applications and the rewards program. The system then displays the at least one notification.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a first set of images from an image capture device of a vehicle. The method also includes performing a first analysis of movement of biomechanical points of occupants of the vehicle in the first set of images. The method further includes receiving an indication that a traffic incident has occurred. The method also includes receiving a second set of images from the image capture device corresponding to when the traffic incident occurred. The method further includes performing a second analysis of movement of the biomechanical points of the occupants in the second set of images. The method also includes determining a likelihood of injury or a severity of injury to the occupants based on the first analysis of movement and the second analysis of movement.

Abstract: Disclosed are examples of transaction cards incorporating aluminum or aluminum alloys. The aluminum can be extracted or recycled from a retired aircraft. Other materials can also be incorporated into the transaction card to provide sufficient weight and rigidity to the transaction card. Stainless steel can be incorporated into the construction of the card in combination with aluminum to provide a desired user experience.

Abstract: A method includes providing an initial communication, by an access device to a user device. The access device can receive the user identifier and the access token and receive a secret associated with the user. The access device can determine, using the user identifier and/or the access token, if the transaction is authorized by an authorizing entity computer associated with the access device or by an authorizing entity not associated with the access device. If the transaction is authorized by the authorizing entity computer associated with the access device, the access device can transmit an authorization request message comprising the user identifier, the secret, and the access token to the authorizing entity computer. The authorizing entity computer validates the secret, retrieves a real credential of the user using the user identifier, and authorizes the transaction.

Abstract: Systems and methods of delivering an item to a mobile delivery receptacle are disclosed. A method of delivering an item to a mobile delivery receptacle can include receiving from a mobile delivery receptacle a location of the mobile delivery receptacle. Based on a cross-referencing credential, the method can include verifying the location of the mobile delivery receptacle. The method may include identifying a mobile delivery unit and determining a position of the mobile delivery unit. The method can include calculating a delivery route from the position of the mobile delivery unit to the mobile delivery receptacle and passing the location of the delivery resource and the delivery route to the mobile delivery unit.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for an improved mechanism for authenticating users. In particular, the methods and systems facilitate variable authentication of users on mobile devices based on current and historical physical movement of the mobile devices at geographic locations and during predetermined time intervals while maintaining user privacy. Specifically, methods and systems authenticate users by comparing current motion data to historical motion data to determine if a user must be re-authenticated. For example, current motion data may be inconsistent with historical motion data and may cause re-authentication of a user. As another example, current motion data may be consistent with historical motion data and may not require re-authentication of a user. Moreover, the methods and systems alleviate privacy concerns by not transmitting sensitive data over one or more wired or wireless networks.

Abstract: A device may obtain registration data associated with a registration of an individual. The registration data may include an image that depicts a physical key and a reference object. The device may process the image to identify a first feature of the physical key and a first measurement of the first feature based on the size of the reference object. The device may store first feature data based on the first feature and the first measurement. The device may obtain second feature data based on a second feature of the physical key and a second measurement of the second feature identified from an insertion of the physical key into a keyhole of an authentication mechanism. The device may determine whether the first feature data corresponds to the second feature data. The device may authenticate the individual based on determining that the first feature data corresponds to the second feature data.

Abstract: A system encodes/compresses at least some portion of website data and transmits the encoded website data to a remote user. A storage device stores original website data representing an original webpage. Retrieval logic retrieves the original website data from the storage device. The retrieval may be responsive to a request from an electronic user device. A parser parses the original website data to detect and tag at least one type of website code within the website data. An encoder encodes the tagged website data and produces encoded website data representing the original website data. A transmitter transmits the encoded website data to the electronic user device. The electronic user device has previously been provided a decoder from the system to decode the encoded website data to recover the original website data. This allows the electronic user device to display the website on the electronic user device.

The well system, according to this aspect, further includes a main bore completion located within the main wellbore and a lateral bore completion located within the lateral wellbore, and a multilateral junction positioned at an intersection between the main wellbore open hole section of the main wellbore and the lateral wellbore open hole section of the lateral wellbore, the multilateral junction including a main bore leg forming a first pressure tight seal with the main bore completion and a lateral bore leg forming a second pressure tight seal with the lateral bore completion such that the main bore completion and the lateral bore completion are hydraulically isolated from one another.

Abstract: Commercial emails are rewritten to aid user understanding and usability. A commercial email is identified from a set of email messages received by an email client for a user. The content of the commercial email is analyzed to identify salient facts associated with the terms of a sale specified by the content. A simplified subject line for the commercial email is generated based on the salient facts and used to replace the original subject line. Priority scores can also be computed based on user transaction history, time, or other factors. The priority scores can then be utilized to organize commercial emails. Further, commercial emails can be segmented from other emails, such as personal or work emails.

Abstract: An electric driven hydraulic fracking system is disclosed. A pump configuration includes the single VFD, the single shaft electric motor, and the single hydraulic pump mounted on the single pump trailer. A controller associated with the single VFD and is mounted on the single pump trailer. The controller monitors operation parameters associated with an operation of the electric driven hydraulic fracking system as each component of the electric driven hydraulic fracking system operates to determine whether the operation parameters deviate beyond a corresponding operation parameter threshold. Each of the operation parameters provides an indicator as to an operation status of a corresponding component of the electric driven hydraulic fracking system. The controller initiates corrected actions when each operation parameter deviates beyond the corresponding operation threshold.

Abstract: Cryptocurrencies may be used within the current Four Party Model to settle transactions between a merchant and a consumer who may use or accept fiat and/or cryptocurrency. An intermediary wallet entity may assume the risk of cryptocurrency transactions. For example, a fiat-fiat transaction may follow the usual settlement process of the Four Party Model. In a crypto-crypto transaction, settlement may occur in real time. But in a fiat merchant/crypto customer transaction, settlement may be made from the customer's crypto wallet to an intermediary wallet. Fiat settlement would then occur between the intermediary and merchant following the Four Party Model. In a crypto merchant/fiat customer transaction, a transfer may be made from the intermediary wallet to the merchant's crypto wallet. Fiat settlement between the customer's bank (issuer) and intermediary can happen in the usual settlement process.
