Abstract: A system for detecting a fraudulent ATM transaction is disclosed. The system relates to an ATM machine that receives a bank/ATM card from a customer. The ATM first attempts to read information from the card chip, but is unable to do so due to a read error. The ATM then instead reads the information from the magnetic strip, and initiates a fraud detection procedure. In one such procedure, the ATM uses a local wireless access point to detect a customer's device, such as a phone, in the vicinity of the ATM. In another such procedure, the ATM communicates with a backend server. The backend server then determines the location of the customer device either by transmitting a message to request authorization, or by utilizing GPS or other location-detection means on the customer device to determine whether the customer device is within the ATM vicinity.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments generally relate to in-store customer traffic analysis systems and methods. The system includes at least one sensor positioned within a retail store, at least one display associated with the at least one sensor, one or more memory devices storing instructions and one or more hardware processors configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations include receiving a sensor signal indicating that a user device is within a proximity to the at least one sensor in the retail store, extracting a user device identifier from the sensor signal, correlating the sensor signal to the at least one display, generating a foot traffic record associated with the user device identifier and the at least one display, based on the received sensor signal, and storing the generated foot traffic record.

Abstract: In some embodiments, text for user consumption may be generated based on an intended user action category and a user profile. In some embodiments, an action category, a plurality of text seeds, and a profile comprising feature values may be obtained. Context values may be generated based on the feature values, and text generation models may be obtained based on the text seeds. In some embodiments, messages may be generated using the text generation models based on the action category and the context values. Weights associated with the messages may be determined, and a first text message of the messages may be sent to an address associated with the profile based on the weights. Based on a reaction value obtained in response to the first message, a first expected allocation value may be updated based on the reaction value.

Abstract: A system includes a processor(s), and a memory coupled to the processor(s) having instructions stored therein. When executed by the processor(s), the instructions cause the processor(s) to perform functions to: apply a treatment for stimulating production to at least a first well in a subterranean formation; determine a flow distribution based on at least one of a first-well measurement or a second-well measurement, the first-well measurement taken at the first well, and the second-well measurement taken at a second well; determine a length of a fracture between the first and second wells, based on the determined flow distribution; determine if the applied treatment at the first well interferes with the second well, based on the determined length of the fracture; and apply a diverting material at the first well if it is determined that the applied treatment interferes with the second well, in order to control well bashing.

Abstract: Techniques are described for managing a network through use of a security device that includes, or has access to, a blockchain node. The security device may manage a network of Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices in a home or other environment. The security device may act as an intermediary to manage secure, trusted communications between the IoT device(s) and external service(s). The security device may also provide network security features such as a network firewall. In some implementations, the security device may run a blockchain node, and the blockchain could be used to establish a verifiable home identity. The security device may interact with external resources and/or services, such as utility services, e-commerce services, and so forth, through this secure mechanism.

Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus, a system and a non-transitory computer readable medium that implement processing circuitry that receives non-dialog information from a smart device and determines a data type of data in the received non-dialog information. Based on the determined data type, the processing circuitry transforms the received first data using an input from a machine learning algorithm into transformed data. The transformed data is standardized data that is palatable for machine learning algorithms such as those used implemented as chatbots. The standardized transformed data is useful for training multiple different chatbot systems and enables the typically underutilized non-dialog information to be used to as training input to improve context and conversation flow between a chatbot and a user.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and products described herein include a server, which receives a request from a user's electronic client device. The server may query web pages and determine if the web pages comply with the compliance rules. When the web pages do not comply with the compliance rules, the server may generate an analysis report on the web pages and send the analysis report to the user. After the user reviews the report and chooses the trouble web pages, the server sends review alerts to the points of contact, such as the product owners and other stakeholders. The product owner may more easily be able to take proper actions and better manage the websites by refreshing noncompliant or incorrect content. In this way, the systems and methods allow product owners and users to manage and/or curate the content of web pages more systematically and automatically.

Abstract: Systems and methods of anti-vishing OTP protection via machine learning techniques are disclosed. In one embodiment, an exemplary computer-implemented method may comprise: receiving a permission indicator identifying a permission by the user to detect OTPs and calls being received by a computing device; receiving an indication of an OTP data item being received; processing the OTP data item to determine a time duration during which a particular OTP included therein is valid; utilizing a trained OTP protection machine learning model to determine phone number(s) as presenting a security risk with respect to the OTP data item; and instructing the computing device to commence at least one security measure based at least in part on a contact list updated with an indication that the phone number(s) present a security risk with regard to the particular OTP during the time duration of the particular OTP.

Each walkway cassette may include a casing and a heat tracing; cable in good thermal contact with the casing. The temperature control element may include a comparatively smaller casing and a heat tracing cable in good thermal contact with the casing, and may exhibit similar heat loss characteristics to the walkway cassettes. The temperature control element may include a temperature sensor on a top surface of its casing, which may generate temperature data and send the temperature data to the control unit. The control unit may provide power to the temperature control element and the walkway cassette(s) in parallel based on the temperature data. The temperature control element may be placed in proximity to the walkway cassette(s), and may be exposed to substantially the same environmental conditions as the walkway cassettes.

Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a field of payment transactions using a card that discloses a computer-implemented method and a system for restricting a transaction while using a payment card. A card processing server may receive card details, a transaction amount, a flag, and signature data of the payment card from a remote terminal upon initiating a transaction using the payment card. Further, the card processing server validates the payment card based on the card details and the signature data of the payment card and thereafter determines a value associated with the flag upon successful validation. The value associated with the flag indicates one of two conditions, e.g., a true condition and a false condition. Based on the condition indicated by the flag, the card processing server performs one of a first action and a second action related to either processing or declining the transaction.

The one or more pairs of forming rollers abut to define a passage there between as each forming roller rotates. The passage has a cross-sectional shape corresponding to the predetermined cross-sectional shape. The method can be performed using a machine including an extruder, one or more pairs of forming rollers, and a cutting device.

Abstract: Various embodiments may be generally directed to the use of an adversarial learning framework for persona-based dialogue modeling. In some embodiments, automated multi-turn dialogue response generation may be performed using a persona-based hierarchical recurrent encoder-decoder-based generative adversarial network (phredGAN). Such a phredGAN may feature a persona-based hierarchical recurrent encoder-decoder (PHRED) generator and a conditional discriminator. In some embodiments, the conditional discriminator may include an adversarial discriminator that is provided with attribute representations as inputs. In some other embodiments, the conditional discriminator may include an attribute discriminator, and attribute representations may be handled as targets of the attribute discriminator. The embodiments are not limited in this context.
