Abstract: A downhole turbine may include a stator disposed in a turbine housing, a rotor disposed between the stator and the turbine housing and wherein the rotor includes an outer housing, a gap that separates the stator and the rotor, wherein the gap is oil filled, and one or more blades disposed on the outer housing between the turbine housing and the rotor. The downhole turbine may further include a compressible medium attached to the outer housing between the stator and the outer housing, wherein the compressible medium is separated from the stator by the gap, and one or more magnets attached to an inner surface of the compressible medium, wherein the one or more magnets are separated from the stator by the gap.

Abstract: In some implementations, a system may obtain a graphical user interface (GUI) template that includes tiles corresponding to plug-ins. The system may generate, from the GUI template, category GUIs corresponding to categories and including a subset of the tiles. The system may identify account identifier(s) associated with a user identifier and one or more of the categories. The system may generate a user-specific GUI associated with a user account associated with the user identifier and including a subset of the category GUIs based on the account identifier(s). The the plug-ins corresponding to the subset of the tiles may incorporate account data associated with at least one of the user account or the account identifier(s). The system may transmit, to a user device associated with the user account, the user-specific GUI.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for tamping the contents of a container are disclosed. An embodiment of an apparatus includes a tamp head for tamping the contents of the container; and a container support assembly structured and arranged to temporarily support the bottom surface of the container during tamping, the container support assembly comprising a support element having a protrusion extending upward from a substantially flat and horizontal upper surface, wherein the protrusion is sized and shaped to correspond to the size and shape of the bottom surface of the container.

Abstract: A call processing system and method for processing calls from high volume callers. A frequency of call activity is monitored for callers to determine reception of a call from a high frequency caller. When a call is received from such a caller, provided is information predicted to be requested from the caller prior to the caller being voice connected to a company representative. The retrieved information is then provided to a company representative prior to the caller being voice connected with a company representative as to expedite the call. Additionally, a customized message for the high frequency caller may be generated prior to the caller being voice connected with a company representative whereby the customized message contains information predicted to be responsive to a predicted inquiry from the determined high frequency caller to mitigate the need to connect the caller to a company representative.

Abstract: An emollient composition comprising at least one hydrocarbon fluid in an amount of 50 to 100% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition is provided. The fluid can be obtained by a process of catalytically hydrogenating a feed comprising more than 85% by weight of oligomerized olefins, at a temperature from 115 to 195° C. and at a pressure from 30 to 70 bars. A cosmetic, dermatological or pharmaceutical composition comprising the emollient composition and uses thereof are also provided.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a mechanical wave source; a set of mechanical wave sensors in a borehole to provide subsurface wave measurements based on formation waves from the mechanical wave source, and a processor. The apparatus also includes a machine-readable medium having program code to acquire the subsurface wave measurements, select a first set of tool wave measurements based on the subsurface wave measurements, and generate a set of filtered subsurface wave measurements by filtering the subsurface wave measurements based on the first set of tool wave measurements. The program code also includes instructions to generate a time-domain semblance map based on the set of filtered subsurface wave measurements, wherein the time-domain semblance map includes an initial set of compression wave peaks, determine a selected qualified compression wave peak based on a semblance value in the time-domain semblance map, and determine a compression wave slowness based on the selected qualified compression wave peak.

Abstract: A well sealing tool may include a hydraulic setting mechanism wherein a setting chamber is isolated after setting a sealing element in engagement with a wellbore. In one example, a setting mechanism includes a setting chamber housing positionable about a mandrel to define at least a portion of a setting chamber between the mandrel and the setting chamber housing. A setting port fluidically couples a through bore of the mandrel with the setting chamber. A valve element is biased toward a closed position within the setting port. A guide sleeve is disposed about the mandrel in a first position that props the valve element to an open position. The guide sleeve is moveable to a second position in response to a threshold pressure applied to the setting chamber to release the valve element to the closed position.

One the method includes receiving, by a reconciliation system, a transaction update associated with a transaction request from a transaction network. The reconciliation system may authenticate the transaction update by communicating with an authentication system. The reconciliation system may translate the transaction update into at least another format. The reconciliation system may transmit the transaction update to a notification handler. The reconciliation system may receive transaction data associated with the transaction update from a transaction query system. The reconciliation system may transmit the transaction update to a transaction requestor associated with the transaction data.

The method comprises receiving location information for an item. The location information indicates the current physical location of the item. The method further comprises determining whether the item is located within a first configurable distance of an establishment and responsive to determining that the item is located within the first configurable distance of the establishment, requesting first location information for the consignee of the item and second location information for the consignee of the item.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for storing files in a storage location that is associated with an image object that is displayed in a real-time view on a mobile device. Examples of an image object include physical objects and augmented objects. Display of the real-time view includes the image object as well as interfaces for interacting with the image object including creating a storage location associated with the image object. Moreover, security features may be based on using information associated with the image object to securely store the file, either locally on the mobile device or over a network (e.g., at a cloud-based location) using the mobile device.

Abstract: An underbalanced drilling system is provided. A bottomhole assembly includes a drill bit drilling a wellbore in a formation underbalanced. The bottomhole assembly includes a telemetry sub. A telemetry component transmits signals in real-time between the telemetry sub of the bottomhole assembly and a controller on the surface. A drill string is coupled with the bottomhole assembly, and the drill string includes a plurality of drill collars. The drill collars form a channel through which drilling fluid flows from the surface to the bottomhole assembly. The drill string is inserted into the wellbore by a hydraulic work over unit. A continuous circulation component provides continuous circulation of the drilling fluid while a new drill collar is coupled to the drill string. The continuous circulation component substantially maintains a wellbore density at a predetermined density.

The method includes establishing a session between a computer and the mobile device. The method includes displaying images of the user interface of the mobile device. The method includes receiving information concerning the insurance claim from the mobile device, the information provided by the user in response to prompts provided on the mobile device. The method includes displaying the information on the computer. The method includes enabling the customer service representative to alter the information or request additional information be provided. The method includes adding the information to a data record regarding the insurance claim in response to an indication that the customer service representative has verified the information.

Abstract: A system for providing support in a downhole motor, the system includes a stator housing including an end, a stator contour within the stator housing, a rotor including a rotor end and lobes configured to engage with the stator contour to eccentrically rotate the rotor, and a radial support extending from the stator contour toward the end of the stator housing, and positioned radially between the rotor end of the rotor and the stator housing to support the rotor and decrease an amount of eccentric rotation of the rotor.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described for use with a portion of plant material that includes at least one active ingredient. A vaporizing unit includes a heating element configured to heat the plant material, and a sensor configured to detect an indication of airflow rate through the vaporizing unit. Control circuitry is configured to receive an indication of the airflow rate through the vaporizing unit, and, in response thereto, to determine a smoking profile that is desired by the user. The control circuitry drives the heating element to vaporize the active ingredient of the plant material by heating the plant material according to the determined smoking profile. The control circuitry dynamically updates the smoking profile in response to changes in airflow rate over the course of a smoking session. Other applications are also described.

Abstract: A smoking device for aerosol-generation may comprise a device housing, a surface acoustic wave-atomizer (SAW-atomizer), a supply element, and a control system. The device housing may include a storage portion for an aerosol-forming substrate. The SAW-atomizer may include an atomization region, a first transducer, and/or a second transducer. The first transducer is configured to generate first surface acoustic waves that propagate along a surface of the SAW-atomizer. The supply element is arranged to supply the aerosol-forming substrate from the storage portion to the atomization region of the SAW-atomizer. The control system is configured to operate the SAW-atomizer to atomize the aerosol-forming substrate in the atomization region to generate an aerosol. A cartridge for such a smoking device and a method for generating an aerosol in a smoking system are also provided.

The apparatus includes a non-transitory memory having instructions stored thereon for performing an evaluation of user performance prior to proceeding with a transaction. The apparatus also includes a processor, operably coupled to the non-transitory memory. The processor is configured to perform the instructions of displaying, on a graphical user interface (GUI), an input box requesting a user to input information associated with the transaction. Abstract: Methods and systems for deploying autonomous vehicles to form a barricade in a coordinated response to an imminent threat are described. In one embodiment, a method for deploying autonomous vehicles to form a barricade is described. The method includes determining at least one location for a barricade and determining a plurality of autonomous vehicles that are available to form the barricade. The method also includes sending instructions to the plurality of autonomous vehicles to form the barricade at the at least one location. In response to the instructions, the plurality of autonomous vehicles are configured to move to the at least one location and form the barricade.
