Abstract: An image of a check is captured by an imaging device and a digital image of the check on a replacement background may be created. The check may be placed on any background while the image of the check is being captured. The replacement background replaces, in the digital image, the background that the check is placed on while its image is being captured. The replacement background may comprise a predetermined image or color(s). The image of the check and the replacement background may be provided into a digital image file that may be transmitted to an institution system for deposit of the check into an account.

Abstract: Described herein is a system for providing version control across APIs. In an embodiment, an application of a client device may transmit communications to a service application API that are in a format not accepted by the service application API, using the application API. A central (or public) API may receive the communication transmitted by the application's API. The central API may identify the versions of the application's API and the service application API. The central API may format the communication based on the mapped fields, to a format accepted by the service application API. The central API 106 may forward the formatted communication to the service application.

Abstract: A lug assembly can include a frame, lug base, lug, and door. The lug assembly can be attached to a projectile that can be coupled and decoupled to an aircraft via the lug assembly. The frame can slidably receive the door. The lug can connect to the lug base and rotate thereabout from a first lug position to a second lug position upon the projectile decoupling. In the second lug position, the lug is contained within the frame such that an aerodynamic profile of the projectile is preserved. The door can connect to the lug base via a closing mechanism including one or more tension mechanism that apply a closing force to the door. Upon the projectile decoupling, the closing force causes the door to slide from a first to a second position, the door transitioning the lug to the second lug position and substantially sealing the frame opening.

Abstract: A machine for filling a tertiary container with secondary containers is provided. The machine includes a frame and a tray loading station positioned to receive a plurality of streams of the secondary containers. The machine also includes a front gate at an upstream end of the tray loading station, the front gate moveable between a first position, in which the secondary containers are obstructed from passing downstream, and a second position, in which the secondary containers are not obstructed. The machine further includes a back stop proximate a downstream end of the tray loading station, the back stop moveable between a first, upstream position and a second, downstream position. The tray loading station is sized such that when a first row of secondary containers is positioned against the back stop in the first position, a portion of an upstream row of secondary containers is positioned directly above the front gate.

Abstract: A system and method for identifying a downhole fluid. The system may include at least one electrode station that is disposed on a non-conductive material and at least two electrodes coupled to the at least one electrode station. The system may further include at least one acquisition unit that is configured to measure a voltage across the two electrodes of the at least one electrode station and an information handling system connected to the at least one acquisition unit. The method may include injecting a current into a sensing domain with at least two electrodes disposed on at least one electrode station, measuring a voltage across the at least two electrodes at the at least one electrode station using an acquisition unit, and sending the measured voltage to an information handling system connected to the acquisition unit by at least one communication line.

Abstract: Described is an Automated Teller Machine (ATM), and related systems (and methods), that allows for applications (or “Apps”) to be accessed on the ATM. The system allows for a third-party application to be verified and installed on ATMs to provide users with additional services. The application may access peripherals of the ATM via an Application Programming Interface (API) provided as part of a Software Development Kit (SDK). Accordingly, the system may provide a secure mechanism for ATM providers to provide users with the benefits of accessing third-party applications. Moreover, these applications may leverage specialized ATM peripherals and provide functionality that may not otherwise be available on other types of devices.

The method comprises receiving a description of a semantic layer operation performed by a semantic layer, the description including multiple implementations of the semantic layer operation, the multiple implementations differing in at least one of cloud operations used or cloud computing platforms used; receiving a request that indicates performance of the semantic layer operation; receiving first resource usage indications corresponding to the cloud operations, wherein the first resource usage indications comprise direct or indirect indications of least one of a storage amount, a compute amount, a number of transactions, a bandwidth, a number of application programming interface calls, or an application or database type associated with each of the cloud operations; selecting a first one of the multiple implementations; and communicating with the first one of the cloud providers to perform the semantic layer operation.

Abstract: A method is provided for displaying an augmented reality image of account information associated with an indicialess transaction card having a card surface with a background pattern applied thereto. A real-time image of the card surface is captured and processed to determine if the background pattern matches a card background pattern associated with a cardholder account. Responsive to a positive determination, communication is established between the user device processor and a card processor carried by the indicialess transaction card. The user device processor receives from the card processor an encrypted verification block and transmits, to an authentication server, an authentication request including the verification block.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a distance threshold may be adjusted, and authentication may be performed based on the adjusted distance threshold. In some embodiments, an authentication request from a first user device associated with a user may be received. First location information of the first user device and second location information of a second user device may be obtained. A distance between the first and second user devices may be determined based on the first and second location information. A distance threshold may be adjusted based on whether such location information is obtained over the same wireless network, whether such information is obtained over a public wireless network, whether an IP address from which such location information is obtained matches a stored IP address, or other criteria. The user may be authenticated based on a comparison of the distance to the adjusted distance threshold.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for generating vehicle profiles for detected vehicles based on engine sound recordings. Based on those vehicle profiles, an enterprise is enabled to generate a user profile for customers. To generate the vehicle profile, a vehicle profiling system may be used. The vehicle profiling system may receive sound data with range information. The vehicle profiling system may input the sound data into a trained machine learning model and receive vehicle model information for the sound data. Based on the output, the profiling system may retrieve metadata associated with the vehicle model and generate a profile based on the metadata.

Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium may be executable by a processor to receive a designation of a message bus producer, a set of business logic to be stored in a set of containers, a designation of a message bus consumer, and a designation of a set of message-handling functions. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium may generate a serverless application stack, based upon the message bus producer, the set of business logic, the message bus consumer, and the set of message-handling functions. Abstract: An error notification system includes a plurality of data production systems in communication with a monitoring server. Each data production system has a data processor configured to receive input data from a first set of data production systems, process the input data to produce output data, and make the output data accessible to a second set of data production systems. The monitoring server is configured to monitor data transmissions between the data production systems and to identify, for each data transmission, originating and receiving systems. The monitoring server is further configured to map data flow from each originating source system to identify all downstream data production systems. Upon identification of a data error in the originating source system, the monitoring server obtains data error information, assembles a data error notification, and transmits the data error notification to data production systems meeting system notification criteria.
