Abstract: Methods, systems, and computing devices for visualizing natural language processing algorithm processes are described herein. A plurality of categories may be determined. Each color of a plurality of colors may correspond to the categories. Text content may be processed using a natural language processing algorithm. Confidence values indicating, for each of a plurality of portions of the text content, a degree of confidence corresponding to one or more of the plurality of categories may be determined. Display colors may be determined based on the confidence values. A user interface comprising a visualization of the text content may be displayed, and the user interface may be configured to show each portion of the text content using a display color such that the user interface indicates changes in confidence across the plurality of characters.

Abstract: An apparatus for activating chambers of downhole hydraulic screens. The apparatus comprises an outer sleeve, an inner sleeve, and a flow path. The outer sleeve is coupled to one hydraulic screen on one end and another hydraulic screen on another end. The inner sleeve couples to base pipe at both ends. The flow path is an annulus defined between the outer diameter of the inner sleeve and the inner diameter of the outer sleeve. Hydraulic seals are formed at the interfaces between the inner sleeve and base pipe and the outer sleeve and hydraulic screens. In practice, the assembled apparatus and hydraulic screens are ran downhole to a production zone using production tubing and a running tool. Fluid from the surface is pumped into the production tubing, diverted therefrom, and into chambers of the hydraulic screens using the flow path to conduct fluid between the hydraulic screens.

Abstract: A method may comprise positioning a downhole fluid sampling tool into a wellbore; performing a pressure test operation within the wellbore; performing a pumpout operation within the wellbore; identifying one or more formation parameters at least in part from the at least one pressure test operation or the at least one pumpout operation; building a correlation model that relates a pumpout trend to the one or more formation parameters; determining a time when the downhole fluid sampling tool takes a clean fluid sample utilizing at least the correlation model; and acquiring the clean fluid sample with the downhole fluid sampling tool from the wellbore. Additionally, a system may comprise a downhole fluid sampling tool configured to: perform a pressure test operation within a wellbore; and perform a pumpout operation within the wellbore.

Abstract: Techniques provided herein relate to electronic data access requests. An access system receives at least one electronic data action request from a client. At least a portion of the data access authentication information is sourced from a secondary device connected to an intermediary device. The electronic data action request is authenticated based upon the data access authentication information.

Abstract: The way in which a fiber optic cable is wrapped around a casing string in a wellbore can be modeled using information from downhole sensor devices. For example, a system can include a fiber optic cable located along a length of a wellbore. The system can also include sensor devices located near the fiber optic cable at various depths to transmit acoustic signals indicating depths and orientations of segments of the fiber optic cable. The system can build a model describing how the fiber optic cable is positioned around the casing string based on the acoustic signals transmitted from the sensor devices. The system can also determine a target position for a perforating gun to perform a perforation operation through the casing string that avoids damaging the fiber optic cable. The system can output the target position for the perforating gun to an electronic device to facilitate the perforation operation.

Abstract: A method of treating disorders in a human or animal subject may include heating a material containing a compound to a first temperature to form a heated volume of the material. The method may additionally include heating the heated volume to a higher second temperature to form a dose of vapor including the compound. The method may also include administering the dose of vapor to the subject to treat disorders such as pain. The method may further include pre-heating the material to a preliminary temperature prior to the heating to the first temperature. The heating and pre-heating may be performed with a capsule including two covering layers, each including an electrically conductive material, configured to hold the material therebetween and to generate heat by resistive heating.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for deploying and/or rolling back automatic teller machine (ATM) updates. Such methods can store a back-up system image of a client operating system on a virtual hard drive. When an update is deployed from a host operating system to the client operating system, the system update may fail to install properly, and the ATM may shut down. In response, the host operating system can execute instructions to the client operating system to boot from a bootable image on the virtual hard drive. Then, the virtual hard drive can emulate, by a boot loader on the back-up system image, the client operating system on the ATM from the virtual hard drive without loading the client operating system. Then, the virtual hard drive can install a rolled-back operating system on the ATM. The rolled-back operating system can comprise the back-up system image.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to methods and systems of password-based threshold authentication, which distributes the role of an authentication server among multiple servers. Any t servers can collectively verify passwords and generate authentication tokens, while no t?1 servers can forge a valid token or mount offline dictionary attacks.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed at methods and systems for providing a partial personalization process. For example, personalization profiles associated with multiple versions of the application may be stored at a provisioning system and the provisioning system may determine the appropriate partial provisioning information to update the application for each migration notification. Partial personalization information that is to be updated for the updated version of the application may be generated and installed to enable new functionality and/or update the information contained within an updated application without requiring re-personalization of all personalized information.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to systems and methods that allow users to use their communication devices to perform transactions (e.g., payment transactions, access transactions, etc.). To complete a transaction, a resource provider electronically generates a code representing transaction data and displays it on an access device. The user scans the code with his or her communication device using a camera associated with the communication device, for example. The code is interpreted by an application on the communication device. The user may request and receive a token at the communication device corresponding to sensitive information selected to perform the transaction (e.g., a primary account number). The user may then provide the token and the transaction data via the communication device to a server computer, which may facilitate completion of the transaction between the user and the resource provider using the transaction data and the token.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods executing a security server that perform various processes using alert elements containing various data fields indicating threats of fraud or attempts to penetrate an enterprise network. Using alert elements, the security server generate integrated alerts that are associated with customers of the system and assign a risk score for the integrated alerts, which the security server uses to store and sort the integrated alerts according to a priority, based on the relative risk scores. Analyst computers may query and fetch integrated alerts from an integrate alert database, and then present the integrate alerts to be addressed by an analyst according to the priority level of the respective integrated alerts. This allows to ensure that the right customer, is worked by the right analyst, at the right time, to maximize fraud prevention and minimize customer impact.

Abstract: A toy projectile launcher having a projectile drum, a cocking slide, and a housing is disclosed. The projectile drum contains projectile holders that are adapted to hold a projectile, such as a foam dart. The cocking slide can be moved forward and backward. The housing houses a launch barrel and an air piston assembly. When the cocking slide is moved backward the air piston barrel moves backward, the launch barrel is moved forward away from a first projectile holder in the plurality to facilitate loading of a projectile into a holder. When the cocking slide is moved forward an air nozzle forms an airtight seal between the air piston barrel and the projectile holder, while the launch barrel is moved backward to form an airtight seal between the projectile holder and the launch barrel.

Abstract: A surgical clamp for aligning the margins of incised or wounded tissue has jaws with parallel clamping faces, and a handle for manipulating the clamp to align the margins of the tissue. The jaws are in a normally closed position, however they can be opened by compressing the handle to open the jaws. Prongs project from the inferior surface of the jaws. The clamp is positioned in a desired position over the margins of a wound to be closed, the prongs engage the margins of the wound to be aligned, and the jaws are closed by releasing compressive force on the handle. As the jaws close the prongs help move the tissue into alignment. Suture guide slots through the jaws assist in the placement of precisely placed sutures across the incision. The disclosed surgical clamp is particularly suited for selectively closing and reopening surgical incisions, such as a sclerotomy incision in the eye. Methods are disclosed for using the clamp during intraocular and other surgical or minimally invasive procedures.

Abstract: The invention features modified alphavirus or flavivirus virus-like particles (VLPs). The invention provides methods, compositions, and kits featuring the modified VLPs. The invention also features methods for enhancing production of modified VLPs for use in the prevention or treatment of alphavirus and flavivirus-mediated diseases. The invention also provides methods for delivering agents to a cell using the modified VLPs.

The resource security system can determine whether to grant or deny access to resources using authorization information in an access request. The resource security system can also determine whether the access request is legitimate or fraudulent using risk scoring models. A score transformation table can be used to provide consistency in the risk level for a particular score over time. The score transformation table can be based on a target score profile and a precision format (e.g., integer or floating point). The score transformation table can dynamically adapt based on the trending top percent of risk and can account for changes in the distribution of scores over time or by weekday. The scores can be used to determine an access request outcome. Access to the resource can be accepted or rejected based on the outcome.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein to improve efficiency and effectiveness in firearms and tactical training, at least in part by selectively generating images onto external target elements. One or more portable devices are selectively mounted with respect to selected ones of the external target elements, which may be fixed in position or mobile as the application demands. Each device includes a housing accommodating and configured for optical projection of light from an array of laser sources and diffractive optical elements. A device controller directs the projection of light from one or more of the laser sources according to a programmed target stimulus arrangement. The device controller may be individually and manually programmed or commanded in some embodiments, but alternatively a master controller may be implemented to coordinate light projections from an array of devices to provide any number of desired scenarios for neurological and/or physiological stimulation of users.

Abstract: Methods and systems for installation of a liner inside a conduit (e.g., water pipe) to transport a fluid (e.g., potable water) to rehabilitate the conduit, in which the liner can be installed, and thus the conduit can be rehabilitated, more efficiently, including, for example, by further reducing an extent of digging that may have to be done, by testing more readily (e.g., pressure-testing for watertightness or other fluid-tightness once installed), and/or by adapting to a cross-sectional size of the conduit. Also, the liner may be thinner, interact better (e.g., less) with the fluid flowing through the conduit, and/or be otherwise designed to enhance its use and performance.

Abstract: A sensing assembly includes a plurality of sensors and a multiplexer having a plurality of input channels and a multiplexer output channel. The plurality of input channels include a plurality of sensor input channels each connected to one of the sensors and a plurality of framing input channels. The multiplexer outputs an output sequence of a series of individual values received at the input channels at the multiplexer output channel. The output sequence has a plurality of sensor values received from the sensors between a framing start value and a framing end value received at the framing input channels.
