Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a system and method for controlling widgets of a table on a display using a server. The system is configured to receive inputs from user for controlling widgets of the table by specifying at least one configuration at the server end for at least one of a plurality of predefined configurations. It determines a plurality of events and invokes at least one event handler at the server end according to a predefined interface for the determined event. The event handler would then provide the component with response behavior. Further, the system specifies a plurality of observable properties wherein any change in the properties would be automatically tracked by the system and invoking the specified at least one event handler to control at least one widget of the table.

Abstract: Majority of the existing approaches handling NFRs limit themselves to model analysis whereas the method disclosed herein includes model driven code generation for NFR optimized models. The method and system disclosed herein provides a model driven approach to contradictory NFR resolution, which generates the NFR code into the functional application code. Embodiments herein provide automated and optimized code generation for contradictory NFRs. The method uses separate but related NFR and mitigation models. Further performs model to code transformation only after the Mitigation model is calculated based on NFR models. The method relies on model to code transformation for generating the application code and other artifacts for an optimized NFR. The approach provided is applicable till the application is deployed in an optimized environment.

  • Publication number: 20210104118
Abstract: Validation circuitry enables a patron to use a wireless device to purchase gaming credit at a gaming machine. The wireless device transmits a touchpoint ID for the gaming machine to the transaction server, which communicates with a gaming system server to create a voucher for the gaming credit and wirelessly transmits a transaction package for the purchased gaming credit to the wireless device, wherein the transaction package includes the voucher ID. The wireless device wirelessly transmits at least the voucher ID to the validation circuitry, which transmits at least the voucher ID to the gaming system server to redeem the voucher. The gaming system server transmits gaming-credit approval to the validation circuitry. The transmissions between the validation circuitry and the gaming system server are independent of the game controller. The validation circuitry transmits the gaming-credit approval to the game controller, which provides the gaming credit to play the gaming machine.

  • Publication number: 20210104208
Abstract: Disclosed are examples for adjusting screen brightness based on screen content being presented on a display screen of a mobile device. The described examples may determine a time at which the screen content is to be evaluated. The screen content is categorized based on the evaluation. A category of the screen content may be input into a machine learning algorithm that may be used to determine whether a screen brightness adjustment is appropriate. If a screen brightness adjustment is appropriate, a degree of the screen brightness adjustment may be determined.

  • Publication number: 20210105132
Abstract: Techniques to transmit encoded data along a physical medium, e.g. tape, and decode the transmitted data along the physical medium are provided. Some techniques include logic to encode data transmitted along a physical medium, such as a tape suitable for any purpose including the encoding of multimedia data, where the encoding is pursuant to a conversion between a first and second colorspace. The logic may further be configured to decode the data once it is received at a node along the tape, where the colorspace conversion provides the basis, key, or cipher for preforming the decoding operation. The logic may be further configured to alter the encryption and decryption basis, key, or cypher by altering the colorspace scheme defining the encoding (and by extension the decoding) during transmission, including a transmission that takes place after a previous transmission governed by the previously defined (and subsequently altered) colorspace conversion scheme. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 10969482
Abstract: The present disclosure provides means for detecting and tracking a moving object using RADAR and ultrasonic sensors. A stationary RADAR detects the moving object and estimates speed and two rotating ultrasonic sensors determine distance of the detected object. An incrementally changing orientation of the ultrasound sensors is associated with an angular speed of rotation based on a last logged distance of the moving object from the ultrasound sensors. Once the moving object is detected, based on an adaptively changing sampling frequency, the moving object is continuously tracked in real time. Conventionally, multiple RADARs are needed for location estimation and motion tracking. Also, merely using a RADAR in combination with an ultrasound sensor also does not serve the purpose since both sensors are static. The present disclosure provides a simple cost effective alternative that can find application in say tracking of an elderly person living alone in an unobtrusive manner.

  • Patent number: 10968002
Abstract: A label material attachable to a product, and a method of applying the label material to the product is described herein. Printed indicia, such as brand identifiers or other labeling information, are applied to the substantially transparent label material using a thermal or other suitable printer. The label material is then bonded to the product using a low heat and pressure technique to activate the adhesive. Once applied to the product, a portion of the label material bonded to the product substantially blends into the product leaving only the printed indicia readily visible to a consumer.

  • Patent number: 10972774
Abstract: A first media server delivers content for broadcast via a first media channel, and a second media server delivers media content for broadcast via a second media channel. The first media server operates in a synchronized mode, under control of the second media server during some periods of time, and during other periods of time operates in an independent mode. When operating in the synchronized mode, content delivered by the first and second media servers can be synchronized, so that the timing of spot blocks played on the two servers generally coincides. When the first server operates in the independent mode, the timing of spot blocks and other content broadcast on the first media channel are not synchronized under control of the second media server.

  • Patent number: 10970496
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods provide for detecting the proximate placement of an external NFC reader to a specific location on a display surface. The display surface can be intended for viewing indicia and enabling interaction with an NFC communication device embedded within the display. A circuit can control an NFC security system that can scan for unauthorized tags affixed to the surface of a display. The NFC security system may be activated by an NFC enabled mobile phone placed proximate to the indicated region for receiving an NFC coded message from the display. An NFC security scan can be performed prior to the mobile phone reading the message from the intended NFC tag in the display. Enabling interactive display modes can allow for making selections indicated on the display or detecting motion gestures across the face of the display.

  • Patent number: 10970620
Abstract: Historical information about a significant input parameter is stored in a data analytics model of a hydrocarbon reservoir. A historical deep recursive neural network (RNN) model is built based on time-series production data from the hydrocarbon reservoir as a function of the significant input parameter in the data analytics model. The historical deep RNN neural network model is stored on a data storage device. An experiment using the historical deep neural network model is designed to predict the significant input parameter. The experiment is run to produce a significant experimental input parameter. The significant experimental input parameter is compared to the significant input parameter stored in the data analytics model to determine a difference. The data analytics model is adjusted to reduce the difference.
