Abstract: Systems to quickly validate that no runtime exceptions occur when hyperparameter tuning and for employing automatic training model generators before training are disclosed. The system may include operations comprising investigating a hyperparameter space and retrieving a plurality of hyperparameters from the hyperparameter space based on a hyperparameter optimization task, identifying at least one of features, characteristics, or keywords of hyperparameters associated with a model generation task and retrieving the plurality of hyperparameters based on the identification. The operations may further include determining which of the retrieved hyperparameters returns the fastest model run time of the model generation task. The operations may further include launching a model training using the hyperparameters determined to return the fastest model run time of the model generation task and notifying a user and terminating the model training if one or more programmatic errors occur in the launched model training.

Abstract: Techniques are described for managing ghost account(s) for user(s). A ghost account may be created with a ghost account number that is a digitally provisioned payment card number linked to a backend account of a user. The ghost account number may be used to conduct transactions in situations where the user may otherwise use their backend account number. One more constraints governing the use of the ghost account may be specified by the user and/or the backend account management service. For example, the user may request a ghost account to be used only to make payments to a particular merchant or service. As another example, the user may request a ghost account to be useable for a particular period of time and/or a particular number of uses. Transactions initiated through the ghost account may be completed using the backend account that is linked to the ghost account.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to enhancing a card activation experience for an authorized card user when activating a new card by at least displaying various types of information related to the new card in augmented reality (AR) and allowing the user to perform the activation itself or experience other aspects of the activation process in AR. Information pertaining the successful activation of the card may also be provided to the user in AR.

Abstract: A method comprising determining a resistivity of a formation, based on a detection of angular electromagnetic signals by a receiver antenna on a first sub of a multi-sub resistivity tool during rotational operation in a wellbore within the formation, the angular electromagnetic signals emitted into the formation, prior to the detection, by a transmitter antenna on a second sub of the multi-sub resistivity tool, wherein the first sub and the second sub are separated apart such that the angular electromagnetic signals are to be transmitted deep into the formation, wherein determining the resistivity comprises curve-fitting and reproducing angular electromagnetic signals by the receiver antenna, and decoupling component signals based on fitting coefficients derived from the angular electromagnetic signals.

Abstract: Methods and compositions for the use of thermally responsive lost circulation materials in subterranean formations are provided. In one embodiment, the methods include introducing a treatment fluid including a base fluid and a thermally responsive lost circulation material including a thermally responsive hydrogel that includes at least one thermoresponsive polymer into a wellbore penetrating at least a portion of a subterranean formation including a loss zone; allowing the thermally responsive lost circulation material to reach a thickening transition temperature; and allowing the treatment fluid to at least partially set in the subterranean formation.

Abstract: Coronavirus S ectodomain trimers stabilized in a prefusion conformation, nucleic acid molecules and vectors encoding these proteins, and methods of their use and production are disclosed. In several embodiments, the coronavirus S ectodomain trimers and/or nucleic acid molecules can be used to generate an immune response to coronavirus in a subject. In additional embodiments, the therapeutically effective amount of the coronavirus S ectodomain trimers and/or nucleic acid molecules can be administered to a subject in a method of treating or preventing coronavirus infection.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to methods, systems, devices and computer-readable media. In embodiments of the invention, a user is authenticated using an authentication process that is capable of authenticating a user using an inline authentication form that can authenticate a consumer without transferring a session maintained by a merchant. The inline authentication form is used if the components of the authentication system are capable of supporting an inline authentication form. If the components of the system cannot support an inline authentication form, a different authentication process is used. In one embodiment, an inline authentication form is presented to the user asynchronously. This inline authentication form may be presented within an iFrame embedded in a merchant's checkout page after verifying that the components to be used during the authentication can support the inline authentication form.

Systems and methods described herein may allow a vehicle to automatically detect the presence of a physical marker at a parking space. An image of the physical marker may be processed to determine the location of the vehicle, which may be stored and/or output for display.

Abstract: A system for serving as a connection interface between a lower landing string and an upper landing string is provided. The system includes a quick union device comprising a first quick union component that is operable to couple to the upper landing string and a second quick union component that is operable to couple to the lower landing string. The first quick union component and the second quick union component respectively include a self-aligning threading interface that provides hydraulic and electrical connections when the first and second quick union components are connected to one another. The quick union device provides real-time feedback via wireless communication transducers that measure pressure and report that the measured pressure is retained in a plurality of hydraulic lines of the second quick union component when the first and second quick union components are disconnected from one another.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for providing feedback on a user's writing behavior in generating a constructed response. An electronic process log for the constructed response is received. The electronic process log is processed to generate a vector having a predetermined number of elements. The vector comprises information related to the user's actions in generating the constructed response and includes (i) data indicating types of actions performed by the user in generating the constructed response, (ii) time points associated with the actions, and (iii) locations associated with the actions, each location indicating whether an associated action occurred within a word, between words, within a phrase, between phrases, within a sentence, between sentences, within a paragraph, or between paragraph. The vector is compared to one or more vectors associated with other constructed responses, and feedback is generated based on the comparison.

Abstract: The present application provides methods for the detection and diagnosis of cancer. In one aspect, the application provides methods for detecting the presence of cancer in an individual by detecting the methylation state of a region in the promoter of the ZNF154 gene. Methods are provided for detection and diagnosis of cancer from circulating tumor DNA which are minimally invasive and have diagnostic utility across different types and sub-types of cancer. In a further aspect, bioinformatics methods are provided to analyze the methylation state of the ZNF154 promoter and relate the methylation state to the likelihood of cancer in the individual.

Abstract: A computer system and method for associating hand placement on a vehicle steering wheel with a driving behavior is described. A sensor system is disposed on the steering wheel configured to detect contact of driver hands upon the steering wheel. A computer processor is coupled to the sensor system to receive and analyze data indicative of hand placement on the steering wheel to determine hand placement. A transceiver device communicates with the computer processor whereby data indicative of hand placement is transmitted to a computer server device associated with an insurance company providing insurance for the vehicle.
