  • Patent number: 7809413
Abstract: A cellular phone includes a first case and a second case, which are connected in a foldable manner through a hinge. When the cellular phone is in a folded state, a second display unit displays an image with the side (upper side) closer to the hinge as the upper side. Accordingly, the user can hold the second case of the cellular phone in his/her hand regardless of whether the cellular phone is in a folded state or in an open state. The user can easily switch between a folded state and an open state with respect to the first case and the second case.

  • Publication number: 20100245327
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a power supply circuit including a charge-pumping booster section which uses switching elements provided only by N-channel transistors yet does not have a problem of voltage drop by threshold value. In a booster section (11a), capacitors (C1) and (C2) have their respective first terminals connected with transistors (Q1, Q3) and (Q2, Q4) respectively. Each transistor has its gate terminal supplied with control signals generated in a driver section (11b). The driver section (11b) includes capacitors (C3, C4) connected with input terminals (Ti3, Ti4) for respective supply of clock signals DCK2, DCK2B each having a voltage alternating between ?VDD and VDD (VDD represents an input supply voltage from outside), as level-shifted signals of clock signals DCK1, DCK1B which are supplied to second terminals of the capacitors (C1, C2) respectively.

  • Publication number: 20100245071
Abstract: In an image information generation device, based on status information representing statuses of various sections of a mobile unit such as a motor vehicle, image information used to display an image required, for instance, for steering this mobile unit on a display device is generated easily. In order to generate, as the image information, a layout identifier that specifies a layout of an image to be displayed on the liquid crystal display device and a component image identifier that specifies a display mode of each component image in the layout, the DPF controller compares the MEN/SEN judging table that stores an identifier table in which a correlation between the status information and the MEN, a correlation between the status information and the SEN, and a correlation between the MEN and the SEN are defined with the status information collected from the ECUs in the various sections of the mobile unit.

  • Publication number: 20100245670
Abstract: A method for adaptive spatio-temporal filtering is disclosed. Local motion vectors between a current video frame and other nearby video frames are determined. Local motion-aligned temporal confidence parameters are determined. Local spatial orientation parameters are determined. The local motion vectors, the local motion-aligned temporal confidence parameters, and the local spatial orientation parameters are used to adaptively determine spatio-temporal kernel weights. The spatio-temporal kernel weights are used to perform spatio-temporal filtering on input video data.
