  • Publication number: 20100185707
Abstract: The objective of the present invention is to manage reference movies using an index file, without causing the user to be perplexed. The reference movies are generated because of, for instance, the upper limit of the file size. The index file manages sets of information regarding the files being managed. Examples of these sets of information are information for determining whether or not a file is presented to the user, information for determining whether or not a file is original, and information indicating whether or not nondestructive editing has been done. Based on such information, the erasure, displaying a list, and so on are carried out. Thus, it is possible to manage the reference movies using the index file, without causing the user to be perplexed.

  • Patent number: 7759692
Abstract: A silver-plated metal member region on which a light emitting element is disposed, an extraction electrode having a copper plate pattern, and a convex resin portion separating the metal member region into a plurality of sections are provided on the bottom surface of a concave portion in a package of a semiconductor light emitting device. A covering resin is partially formed on the metal member region and a sealing resin is placed to cover the metal member region, the covering resin and the convex resin portion. According to this configuration, the area of contact is decreased between the sealing resin and the metal member region having the light emitting element placed thereon, to thereby prevent the light emitting element from falling off and being displaced from the metal member region, with the result that a semiconductor light emitting device of high reliability can be provided.

  • Patent number: 7760783
Abstract: After a p-type cladding layer, an etching rate reducing layer and a p-type contact layer are formed in order on an n-type substrate, an etching mask is formed. Then, by using the etching mask, the p-type contact layer, the etching rate reducing layer and the p-type cladding layer are partially etched in the region outside the etching mask with an etchant. At this time, the etching rate of the layers by the etchant is slower in the etching rate reducing layer than in the p-type cladding layer and the p-type contact layer. Then, a metal thin film is formed such that the film continuously coats an upper surface and side surfaces of a ridge consisting of the above layers left after the etching step. A normal vector at a surface coated with the thin film has an upward component.

  • Patent number: 7761046
Abstract: Mechanism unit(s) functioning as automatic-feed cassette(s) and mechanism unit(s) functioning as manual-feed tray(s) together form a single integral module, constituting a hybrid paper supply module. A plurality of hybrid paper supply modules are stacked together to constitute a paper supply mechanism. Manual-feed tray(s) with which manual-feed mechanism unit(s) of respective hybrid paper supply module(s) is or are provided is or are maintained in stored state(s) as a result of electromagnetic attraction produced by electromagnet(s). In correspondence to image forming condition(s), electromagnetic attraction at one electromagnet is terminated, causing manual-feed tray(s) to assume deployed state(s). Furthermore, primary path(s) passing vertically through module interior(s) is or are formed so as to permit transport of recording paper toward printing unit(s) of hybrid device(s) regardless of from which hybrid paper supply module(s) it is that recording paper is taken up.
