Abstract: The paper carrying apparatus includes a first paper carrying mechanism (first carrying mechanism), a second paper carrying mechanism (second carrying mechanism) provided on the downstream of the first carrying mechanism in a carrying direction, an electric motor that drives the first carrying mechanism, a stepping motor that drives the second carrying mechanism, and an acceleration sensor that is a vibration detecting mechanism detecting vibration generated in the rotation shaft of the stepping motor. When the first carrying mechanism and the second carrying mechanism concurrently carry the same paper sheet, the electric motor is controlled in driving velocity based on information of vibration detected by the acceleration sensor at the timing of the rear end of the carried paper sheet passing the first paper carrying mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20090080782
Abstract: An image data output processing apparatus of the present invention, in a case where a reference document is duplex, causes a storage process section, in a storage mode, to store, at the time of storage, a DocID indicative of the reference document so as to correspond to an ID indicative of respective document images on front and back sides of the reference document. In a matching mode, in a case where a matching document is duplex, (i) an ID similar to that of the reference document and (ii) a corresponding DocID are extracted for each of the document images on the front side and the back side of the matching document, so as to create candidate lists for front and back sides of the matching document. If first candidates in the candidate lists correspond to an identical DocID, it is determined that the images are similar to each other, and if the first candidates do not correspond to the identical DocID, a determination result is corrected to a reference document that corresponds to the identical DocID.

  • Publication number: 20090080099
Abstract: A parallax barrier is manufactured by forming a light-blocking layer by patterning a metal layer or a resin layer on a barrier glass in a photolithography step. On a mask used in the photolithography step, some pitches between slits are different, the slits corresponding to portions whereupon the light-blocking layers are to be formed. In addition, on the mask, first pitches (for instance, 100) and second pitches (for instance 99.5), which can be actually formed with accuracy, are formed in a cycle, and the average of such pitches can be accord with a theoretical pitch distance (for instance, 99.99). Thus, in the parallax barrier to be used for a multiple display device, visibility of the entire screen can be improved, and the parallax barrier which can be manufactured by using the mask lithography technology having a limited accuracy, and a method for manufacturing such parallax barrier are provided.

  • Publication number: 20090080023
Abstract: A plurality of image processing apparatuses 1 and a remote access apparatus 2 which remotely operates each image processing apparatus 1 are connected through a network 3. Each image processing apparatuses 1 have a same operation screen. The remote access apparatus 2 accesses the plurality of image processing apparatuses 1, and acquires screen data for displaying an operation screen A, from one of the image processing apparatuses 1. The remote access apparatus 2 displays the same operation screen A as the operation screen of the image processing apparatus 1. When a user performs an operation for outputting reports on this operation screen A, the remote access apparatus 2 requests output from each image processing apparatus 1. Each image processing apparatus 1 creates a report and transmits it to the remote access apparatus 2.

Abstract: A data writing method for writing data sequentially in a cross-point memory cell array having a variable resistive element whose electric resistance is changed by application of an electric stress is provided. When data is sequentially written in memory cells in the same row or column, the writing order of the memory cells to be written is determined according to the length from an electric connection point to a selected memory cell to be written and the increase/decrease direction of the electric resistance of each selected memory cell changed by data writing, the electric connection point being between a write voltage applying circuit, which applies a data writing voltage to a same wiring of the selected word line or bit line connected to the selected memory cell, and the same wiring, and the data writing is executed based on the determined writing order.

  • Patent number: 7508366
Abstract: A display has a circuit for comparing video data for a first or current frame with video data for a second or desired frame. A processing section makes an instruction for a process to take place if certain conditions are met. In response to the instruction for a process, a signal generation circuit outputs a signal which reduces a degree of modulation or variation by which tone transition is facilitated relatively to a case where pixels are driven on the basis of data output from an ordinary processing section. Thus, by modulating or varying a drive signal to a degree suitable for a case where tone transition is sufficient, a display capable of improving display quality even in a situation where the display is not capable of being driven suitably, can be realized using circuitry of a relatively small scale.

  • Patent number: 7509090
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for radio video transmission which switches a radio frequency band or a compression rate for video data to enable appropriate video transmission even if a radio environment is degraded. A pair of a transmitter and a receiver transmits video data in the radio environment. The receiver periodically transmits a status message to the transmitter. If the transmitter fails to receive reception of the periodically transmitted status message, the failure is used as a trigger to cause the transmitter to switch the channel (radio frequency band) or the video data compression rate. It is therefore possible to switch the radio frequency band or video data compression rate for the transmitter and receiver even if the radio environment is degraded.

  • Patent number: 7508468
Abstract: A light blocking mask covering half of a picture element is formed on a first substrate. Thereafter, the first substrate and a second substrate are placed to face each other, and liquid crystals with negative dielectric anisotropy are sealed between these substrates, whereby a liquid crystal panel is formed. A polymer constituent which is polymerized by light is added in advance to the liquid crystals. Next, ultraviolet is irradiated from the side of the first substrate, and, after removing the light blocking mask, ultraviolet is once again irradiated. Thus, in picture element, a region where binding force with respect to liquid crystal molecules is large (a region where a threshold voltage in transmittance-voltage characteristics is high) and a region where binding force with respect to liquid crystal molecules is small (a region where a threshold voltage in transmittance-voltage characteristics is low) are formed.

  • Patent number: 7508897
Abstract: A PLL circuit has (i) a counter which divides a frequency of a VCO output whose frequency has been divided by a frequency divider and (ii) a memory which stores plural patterns of set cycles of the counter. The memory reads out one of the set cycles designated by a selection signal inputted through a serial bus (SB) from an outside of the PLL circuit. The set cycle, read out from the memory, which has a large amount of data, is inputted through a parallel bus (PB) into the counter, so that it hardly takes time to set a cycle for the counter. Further, even when the number of bits of the counter increases, the setting time is not lengthened.
