  • Patent number: 9923995
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for sharing information for detecting an idle connection. In one aspect, a second node receives a packet in a connection. A portion in the packet is detected identifying metadata for a period, detectable by a first node. The second node modifies a timeout associated with the connection based on the metadata. In another aspect, a first node receives information for detecting a period. A packet is generated including a portion identifying metadata for the period based on the information, and sent to the second node.

  • Patent number: 9677761
Abstract: A mixer device for burner equipment includes flow guide means for guiding an air-gas mixture to the intake of a fan rotatable about a first axis, the guide means including a tubular Venturi effect conduit structure with axially symmetric contiguous converging and diverging portions about a second axis, a section being provided between the portions of conduit into which the gas flow is delivered for mixing with the air flow supplied through the converging portion. The fan's axis of rotation does not coincide with the axis of longitudinal development of the Venturi effect conduit, the offset between the first and second axes allows placement of a valve which supplies the gas flow into the Venturi effect conduit with a configuration in which the projection of the overall dimensions of the Venturi effect conduit and of the valve unit, in the rotational axis direction, lies within the fan's cover plate projection.

  • Patent number: 9574772
Abstract: This invention relates to a control and safety circuit (1) for gas delivery valves, comprising an actuator (50) opening the gas delivery valve; a control unit (100) intended to emit a command signal (V2) to activate the actuator and switch on the valve, and a clock signal (CK); and a memory (5) placed between the control unit (100) and the actuator (50). The memory is capable of receiving the command signal (V2) and the clock signal (CK) as inputs, and at the same time emits an output signal (V3) which is a function of the input command signal (V2) and a clock signal (CK). The output signal (V3) is sent to the actuator (50) to command the same to open the valve.

  • Publication number: 20170003024
Abstract: A method for controlling the operation of a burner, the burner including a control board with a first control unit and a first memory, which stores first values of operating parameters of the burner, and a display device, which displays one or more items of data relating to the functioning of the burner, the display device including a second memory, which stores second values of operating parameters of the burner, each first and second operating parameters being capable of being changed over time. The method includes setting for each operating parameter at least one first value in the first memory, and at least one second value in the second memory; comparing, for each operating parameter, a corresponding first value and second value; if the first value and the second value are different, changing one of the first or second values, so that the first and second values are the same.

  • Publication number: 20150276221
Abstract: A method is provided for monitoring and controlling combustion in a burner of a fuel gas apparatus, having a sensor with an electrode able to be supplied by a voltage generator and connected to an electronic circuit for measuring the resultant potential. The method includes acquiring and processing data from experimental conditions and a second phase of evaluating the desired combustion characteristic, under an actual operating condition of the burner. A plurality of experimental combustion conditions for the burner are preselected, applying to the burner, in each condition, a power and a further significant parameter of the combustion characteristics, under each of the experimental conditions applying an electrical voltage signal to said electrode and carrying out a sampling of the response signal, calculating, based on the sequence of sampled values, the characteristic parameters of the waveform of the signal for each of the experimental conditions.

  • Patent number: 9114272
Abstract: A new and useful portable adjustable multi-purpose exercise device which is collapsible when not in use, relatively inexpensive, allows for a multitude of exercises to be performed for every major part of the body and focuses on exercises which implement the user's body weight as resistance. The device essentially comprises two triangular support frames and an attached stabilizer bar, which when assembled yields a pyramidal prismatic structure upon which the user performs a variety of exercises. The configuration of the device changes as the user optionally places an exercise grip bar in various receiving grooves. This device is believed to be useful in the home setting, whereby the individual user may obtain a full work-out without the need for larger home gym systems. A device according to the invention is also believed to be favorable for use in large gym environments, hospital therapy rooms, classes and other fitness-related facilities.
