Abstract: A system for managing clinical treatment dispensation includes a rules engine and a treatment assignment subsystem. The rules engine is capable of receiving at least two treatment parameters from at least one treatment module and uses the treatment parameters to compute a set of treatment combinations. The treatment assignment subsystem uses the treatment combinations set to generate treatment dispensation information useful for treating a patient. A method for generating a clinical treatment dispensation design is also described.

Abstract: Radio-frequency (RF) switch circuits are disclosed providing uniform voltage swing across a transmit switch for improved device performance. A switching circuit includes a switch having field effect transistors (FETs) defining an RF signal path between the input port and the output port, the switch configured to be capable of being in a first state corresponding to the input and output ports being electrically connected so as to allow passage of the RF signal therebetween, and a second state corresponding to the input and output ports being electrically isolated. The switching circuit includes a voltage distribution circuit configured to reduce voltage distribution variation across the switch, including one or more elements coupled to a selected body node of one or more FETs so as to reduce voltage distribution variation across the switch when the switch is in the first state and encountered by an RF signal at the input port.

Abstract: Data which is read back from a multi-level storage device is received. For each bin in a set of bins, a portion of reads which fall into that particular bin and which are to be maintained is received. The set of bins is adjusted so that the read-back data, after assignment using the adjusted set of bins, matches the received portions of reads which are to be maintained.

Abstract: A method and mass storage device that combine multiple solid state drives (SSDs) to a single volume. The device includes a carrier board and at least two solid state drives having power and data connections to the carrier board. The carrier board includes a circuit board functionally connected to a control logic and at least two secondary connectors that are disposed at different edges of the circuit board and functionally connected to the control logic. The solid state drives are connected to the carrier board through the secondary connectors, and each solid state drive has a power and data connector directly connected to one of the secondary connectors of the carrier board. The solid state drives are oriented substantially parallel to the carrier board and to each other.
Abstract: An earth leakage circuit breaker includes an earth leakage detector, a rectifier, a switching part, and a controller. The switching part is installed on an electric circuit between an alternating current (AC) power supply and the rectifier, and switches between supply and interruption of the power from the AC power supply. The earth leakage detector is installed between the AC power supply and a load. The rectifier rectifies the AC power into direct current (DC) power. The controller causes the rectifier to perform half-wave rectification until earth leakage is detected by the earth leakage detector, and causes the rectifier to perform full-wave rectification when the earth leakage is detected by the earth leakage detector.
Abstract: A charging device includes a housing, a charging roller, and a brush roller. The housing is disposed adjacent to an optical path of light emitted an the exposure device to irradiate a photoconductor. Charging roller is rotatably supported in housing, and is configured to charge a circumferential surface of the photoconductor through contact. Brush roller is rotatably supported in housing together with charging roller, has multiple brush hairs flocked on a base shaft thereof extending in a longitudinal direction of the charging roller, and is configured to clean a surface of charging roller when brush hairs are brought in contact with charging roller. Furthermore, a predetermined segment of housing is located in a space within a predetermined distance toward a side of housing from the optical path, and is formed from a material having a charge property equivalent to that of the brush hairs.
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided that allow an off-the-shelf USB flash memory device to be used with a scan tool. The USB flash memory device can have a different operating system then the proprietary operating system of the scan tool. The method and apparatus allows the scan tool to read from and write on the USB flash memory device regardless of the formatted operating system on the device.

Abstract: In an image forming apparatus, the magnetic sensor obtains an output value varying with a magnetic toner amount in a development device. The correlative data storing part prestores correlative data relating to the output value when there is no magnetic toner in the development device and the output value when the magnetic toner amount is a predetermined setting value. The standard value storing part prestores an initial value of a standard value being the output value when the magnetic toner amount is the setting value. The standard value setting part makes the standard value storing part store the output value corresponding to the magnetic toner amount being the setting value, as new standard value, by the output value when there is no magnetic toner in the development device and the correlative data. The toner amount deciding part decides the magnetic toner amount by the output value and the standard value.
Abstract: A system for connecting an electric vehicle to a high voltage power source is disclosed. The system including an electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) having an electrical plug compatible with a high voltage power outlet, the plug connected to a power cord. The power cord is connected to a housing containing a number of electrical components configured to control the power flow to an electric vehicle to recharge the vehicle's batteries. The power cord extends from the housing and is connected to a standard electric vehicle connector compatible with battery electric vehicles (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV). The EVSE further includes safety measures, such as a relay that controls the flow of power to the vehicle connector, a ground fault interrupter, and a circuit tester to protect users from high voltage electric shocks.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an area setting unit, a reading unit, a number recognizing unit, and a number determining unit. The area setting unit is configured to set a reading area on the basis of a page number. The reading unit is configured to read image data in the reading area. The number recognizing unit configured to recognize a number from a result of reading by the reading unit. Abstract: A light source section of the image reading apparatus illuminates a document with light. An image sensor outputs image signals. An operating section accepts input of an enlargement factor and selection of a document scanning mode. An image processing section generates image data, from pixels (lines) in a quantity according to an enlargement factor. A stepper motor moves the document or the light source section. During a quiet mode, a signal generating section inputs to the stepper motor a pulse signal of a fixed frequency within a quiet mode frequency band. The quiet mode frequency band is a frequency band in which vibration of the stepper motor is at or below a predetermined normal vibration level.

Abstract: A single wire serial interface for power ICs and other devices is provided. To use the interface, a device is configured to include an EN/SET input pin. A counter within the device counts clock pulses sent to the EN/SET input pin. The output of the counter is passed to a ROM or other decoder circuit. The ROM selects an operational state for the device that corresponds to the value of the counter. In this way, control states may be selected for the device by sending corresponding clock pulses to the EN/SET pin. Holding the EN/SET pin high causes the device to maintain its operational state. Holding the EN/SET pin low for a predetermined timeout period resets the counter and causes the device to adopt a predetermined configuration (such as off) until new clock pulses are received at the EN/SET pin.
