    Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a user equipment, a signal including cell-specific reference signals from a number of cells. Cell-specific reference signal(s) are measured from one of the cells to determine measured result(s). The user equipment, based on the measured result(s) meeting first criteria, performs interference cancelation to cancel the cell-specific reference signal(s) corresponding to the one cell from the signal. The user equipment performs the measuring and the performing the interference cancelation for additional ones of the cells until second criteria are met. The user equipment uses measured cell-specific reference signals having their interference canceled to reduce an effect of interference from corresponding cells on communications between the user equipment and a base station. A base station may store cell search information that can be sent to the user equipment to help the user equipment perform the previous method.

    Abstract: A system and method for a CO2 refrigeration system includes a compressor, a heat exchanger, a liquid receiver, a first valve, and a valve controller. The heat exchanger operates as a gas cooler when the CO2 refrigeration system is in a transcritical mode and as a condenser when the CO2 refrigeration system is in the subcritical mode. The first valve controls a flow of refrigerant from the heat exchanger to the liquid receiver. The valve controller monitors an outdoor ambient temperature and a pressure of refrigerant exiting the heat exchanger, determines whether the CO2 refrigeration system is in the subcritical mode or in the transcritical mode, determines a pressure setpoint based on the monitored outdoor ambient temperature, and controls the first valve based on a comparison of the determined pressure setpoint and the monitored pressure when the CO2 refrigeration system is in the transcritical mode.

    Abstract: Two or more Vivaldi antennas, consisting of two plates each, each with the antenna's natural impedance of approximately 100 ohms, are placed in parallel to achieve a 50 ohm impedance in the case of two antennas or other impedances (100/n ohms) for more than two antennas. A single Vivaldi antenna plate (half Vivaldi antenna) over a ground plane can also be used to achieve a 50 ohm impedance, or two or more single plates over a ground plane to achieve other impedances. Unbalanced 50 ohm transmission lines, e.g. coaxial cables, can be used to directly feed, the dual Vivaldi (four plate) antenna in a center fed angled center departure, or more desirably, a center fed offset departure configuration.
