Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses for feedback messaging in a communication system. A station can include into a scheduling information entity an indication of aperiodic feedback messaging on a physical uplink control channel and dynamically send the scheduling information entity with the indication to a communication device configured for periodic feedback messaging to trigger aperiodic feedback messaging by the communication device on the physical uplink control channel. Upon receiving the scheduling information entity the device can determine that it includes the indication and in response to the determining send at least one aperiodic feedback message on the physical uplink control channel.

Abstract: Methods and systems in accordance with the present invention allow users to efficiently manipulate, analyze, and transmit eXtensible Business Reporting Language (“XBRL”) reports. They allow users to automatically build financial reports that are acceptable to governing agencies such as the IRS. In one embodiment, the reports are developed by a parser that transforms text documents into software elements containing a format with a hierarchal relationship between the software elements, and an editor that develops reports by referencing the software elements transformed from the text documents. Methods and systems in accordance with the present invention also enable reports to be automatically scheduled by gathering desired information from an accounting system, formatting the information into an XBRL document, and transmitting it to an end source.

Abstract: A method for boost floor mitigation during a decoding operation performed by a decoder is disclosed herein. The method includes: monitoring for a floor error condition while performing the decoding operation; if a floor error condition has been detected, then: clearing a feedback delay memory in the decoder; downscaling main memory values in the decoder; applying a gain in low-rank columns; and continuing to perform the decoding operation.

Abstract: Embodiments provide techniques for deferring authentication and resource loading through the use of a local web server. One embodiment includes, upon receiving a request for remote web application content, at a local web server, from a client application, transmitting placeholder content to the client application. A remote web server is selected to fulfill the received request. Embodiments further include, upon determining that the remote web server is available to fulfill the received request, redirecting the client application to an address for the remote web server corresponding to the requested remote web application content.

Abstract: A touch panel device is provided, having a cover plate, a first mask layer, a signal trace layer and a second mask layer. The cover plate has a visible area and a shield area at a side of the visible area. The shield area is divided into first, second area, third areas sequentially from the visible area to an edge of the shield area. The first mask layer disposed in the first and second areas of the shield area over a surface of the cover plate, wherein the first mask layer has a flat surface. The signal trace layer is disposed in the first area of the shield area over the flat surface. The second mask layer is at least disposed in the third area near the edge of the cover plate. A viscosity of the second mask layer is larger than a viscosity of the first mask layer.
Abstract: The accuracy of a binary decision on a photon incident on a pixel is improved. An imaging device includes a generation unit and a decision unit. The generation unit generates a digital value indicating the amount of charge stored by photons incident on a pixel during an exposure period based on a signal output by the pixel. The decision unit compares a threshold value set for each pixel having similar conversion efficiency at the time of conversion of the amount of charge stored in the pixel into a digital value generated by the generation unit, with the generated digital value, and makes a decision on the entrance of a photon into the pixel that output the signal.

Abstract: The invention relates generally to downhole measurement tools having a regulated voltage power supply and methods of use thereof. The downhole measurement tools are associated with electrical submersible pumps for providing a stabilization technique for a five (5) volt power supply over a wide temperature range. A voltage regulator circuit for the downhole measurement tools has a temperature dependent resistance to adjust the feedback of the regulated voltage to compensate for the temperature coefficient effects of the other components in the regulator circuit.

The glass plate includes a transparent glass-based element and a high polymer plastic membrane. Abstract: Systems and methods of detecting ground faults in energy storage and/or generation systems that can detect ground faults on the DC and/or AC side of an energy storage/generation system, and generate warning signals and/or shutdown at least part of the system upon detection of such ground faults. The systems and methods can monitor levels of DC voltages and amplitudes of AC voltages occurring on the positive and negative side of a DC bus with respect to ground on the DC side of the energy storage and/or generation system, and process the monitored DC voltage levels and AC voltage amplitudes to detect a ground fault. Having detected such a ground fault, the systems and methods can generate a warning signal and/or shutdown at least part of the system, for example, by disconnecting a DC energy system from the DC bus, and/or by disabling a DC-to-AC bidirectional inverter included in the system.

A fluid circulation system includes a sump for receiving fluid from the wash chamber. The sump includes a chamber having a sidewall and a base wall. The fluid circulation system further includes a pump, the pump including an impeller disposed within the chamber. The fluid circulation system further includes a filter at least partially disposed within the chamber and surrounding the impeller, the filter including a sidewall, the sidewall defining a plurality of perforations extending therethrough. The fluid circulation system further includes a shelf cantilevered from the sidewall of the sump towards the filter.
Abstract: An inkjet recording apparatus includes a recording head that has an ink discharge surface and that discharges ink onto a recording medium, a wiper blade that cleans the ink discharge surface of the recording head, and a controller. The controller causes the wiper blade to wipe ink off the ink discharge surface by causing the wiper blade to be pushed against the ink discharge surface and move in a predetermined movement direction. The wiper blade includes a protrusion protruding in the predetermined movement direction. The protrusion has an ink retaining surface that faces the ink discharge surface at a predetermined distance while the wiper blade wipes ink off the ink discharge surface.

Abstract: A touch device is provided in the present disclosure. The touch device comprises a plurality of piezoelectric transducers arranged in a touch region of a substrate and a plurality of signal wires located on the substrate and electrically connecting the plurality of piezoelectric transducers. The touch device in the present disclosure can convert mechanical vibration into an electrical signal such that the signal on the touch device can be detected without using any additional driving voltage.
Abstract: Systems and methods for efficiently collecting and disposing waste from disparate locations within a facility, the method including coupling a series of empty waste receptacles to a tow vehicle and transporting the receptacles to a first location. At the first location, identifying a first full waste receptacle and exchanging it with one of the empty receptacles coupled to the vehicle. The full waste receptacle and remaining empty receptacles are thereafter transported via the tow vehicle to a second location, where a second full waste receptacle is exchanged with one of the remaining empty receptacles. Thereafter, the first and second full waste receptacles are transported to a waste processing location. In some embodiments, the process may be repeated until all the empty waste receptacles on the vehicle have been exchanged with full waste receptacles, at which point the vehicle transports the full waste receptacles to the waste processing location.
