  • Patent number: 11830826
Abstract: A semiconductor die includes a substrate layer, one or more metal layers disposed over the substrate layer, and a pair of polyimide layers disposed over the substrate so that they define an interface therebetween. One or both of the pair of polyimide layers have a trench that separates the interface from the one or more metal layers. The trench can be formed by etching the polyimide layer(s). A topcoat insulation layer is disposed over the one or more metal layers and polyimide layers. The topcoat insulation layer is impervious to moisture and the trench inhibits migration of moisture along the interface to the one or more metal layers, thereby preventing metal migration from the one or more metal layers along the interface.

  • Patent number: 11831553
Abstract: Various embodiments providing for an indicator (termed the “Traffic Category Indicator,” TCI) to be encoded into packets, different values of which can be used, e.g., to distinguish Traffic Engineered (TE) packets and non-TE packets. In an example embodiment, the TCI can be used, e.g., to configure a network node to implement different packet queues, on each link, for TE packets and non-TE packets. In embodiments corresponding to the DiffSery TE paradigm, a node can be configured to implement different queues within each Forwarding Class for each link, said different queues distinguished by different respective TCI values. Example benefits of TCI include, but are not limited to fate separation of TE and non-TE packets in a node. The TCI concept can beneficially be applied to different packet-switching technologies supporting Source Routing, such as the IP, MPLS, Ethernet, etc.

  • Patent number: 11828882
Abstract: The present technology relates to a distance measuring device and a distance measuring method that can improve the accuracy of distance measurement. A control unit controls a light emitting operation by supplying a light emitting unit with a light emission timing signal for controlling the light emitting operation for emitting irradiation light and controls the light receiving operation by supplying a light receiving unit with a light reception timing signal for controlling the light receiving operation for receiving reflected light. A measuring unit measures a deviation time between the light emission timing at which the light emitting unit emits the irradiation light and the light reception timing at which the light receiving unit receives the reflected light, using the light emission timing signal and the light reception timing signal. The present technology can be applied, for example, to a case where distance measurement is performed by using the ToF method.

  • Patent number: 11830268
Abstract: A method performed by a computing system comprises receiving, by a hierarchical document classification system (HDCS), a document that includes image data and textual data, wherein the document is associated with a document type. The HDCS determines a first machine learning (ML) classifier of the HDCS associated with the document type. The first ML classifier corresponds to one of an image-based ML classifier of the HDCS and a text-based ML classifier of the HDCS. The determined first ML classifier classifies the document as being associated with a particular class of document of a plurality of classes of documents. A second ML classifier associated with the class of document classifies the document as being associated with a particular subclass of a plurality of subclasses of the class of document. The HDCS communicates information that specifies the class and the subclass associated with the document to a terminal.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a reader/writer includes an insertion portion and a support member. An information storage medium held by a person with fingers is inserted into the insertion portion. The support member supports the insertion portion on an installation surface by causing an insertion direction of the information storage medium with respect to the insertion portion to be lowered to the front to intersect with a horizontal plane. In the support member, an intersection angle between the insertion direction and the horizontal plane is set to a predetermined acute angle at which the fingers of the person do not interfere with the installation surface when the information storage medium is inserted into the insertion portion.
