  • Patent number: 11834358
Abstract: A process for treating frac flowback that contains barium, naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM) and hardness for minimizing the amount of sludge produced that contains hazardous levels of NORM by employing a dual stage precipitation process. In the first stage a sulfate source is mixed with the frac flowback and barium sulfate and NORM is precipitated, the frac flowback is subjected to a solids-liquid separation process to produce a first effluent and a first sludge. In the second stage hardness is precipitated from the first effluent by addition of an alkali reagent, said first effluent is also subjected to solids-liquid separation producing a second effluent and a second sludge. The first sludge is recycled and mixed with the frac flowback and the sulfate source in a sufficient amount to maintain the NORM concentration in the second sludge at or below a threshold level.

  • Patent number: 11836203
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for improving the quality of subsequent searches. A request is received from a user to perform a search using the term(s) provided by the user. A search is then performed using the provided term(s). A representation of the search result is depicted as an area (e.g., bubble) with terms of interest displayed outside the area. The area represents a set of documents that were found in the performed search and the terms of interest represent terms that may be of interest to the user based on this set of documents. These terms of interest may be selected by the user to adjust the search result. In this manner, the user is presented with an intuitive view as to how different terms or different searches will have an impact on the search results thereby improving the quality of subsequent searches.

  • Patent number: 11835549
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide testing systems with liquid cooled thermal arrays that can pivot freely in three dimensions allowing surfaces to be brought into even, level, and secure contact, thereby preventing air gaps between surfaces and improving thermal performance. In this way, more DUTs can be tested in parallel within a small test space, overall costs of the test system are reduced, and greater cooling capacity can be provided for testing high-powered devices. Gimbaled mounts are disposed on a bottom surface of individual thermal interface boards (TIBs) of a test system, and/or on top of individual thermal heads of a thermal array (TA) having a common cold plate (or having multiple cold plates).

  • Patent number: 11838348
Abstract: A method of computation executed by a server is provided, wherein constraints on results of the computation from a group of client devices in a distributed system are used in a way that makes it unnecessary to identify the client devices. The constraints from each client device include limit amounts applicable to respective other client devices in the group in combination with the client device. The client devices each form doubly encrypted representations of the limit amounts and send messages with requests and its decryption key to the server. The server doubly decrypts the doubly encrypted representations of the limit amounts using the keys from the messages and determines which pairs of the messages include description keys that produce verified results. The server computes a solution that satisfies the requests from the messages, subject to the limit amounts from the verified results, applied in conjunction with the requests from said pairs of the messages.
