Abstract: A system for providing integrated detection and deterrence against an unmanned vehicle including but not limited to aerial technology unmanned systems using a detection element, a tracking element, an identification element and an interdiction or deterrent element. Elements contain sensors that observe real time quantifiable data regarding the object of interest to create an assessment of risk or threat to a protected area of interest. This assessment may be based e.g., on data mining of internal and external data sources. The deterrent element selects from a variable menu of possible deterrent actions. Though designed for autonomous action, a Human in the Loop may override the automated system solutions.

Abstract: Stents as described herein can comprise a tubular body in which a midbody extends to a first end and also extends to an opposing second end, where the midbody includes a thread arranged helically along at least a portion of its length. The thread can exhibit various shapes and dimensions selected to enhance particular aspects of performance when the stent placed in an anatomical structure of a patient.

Abstract: A fixing structure used to connect a display panel to a housing of an electronic device during manufacture of the electronic device includes a fixing member, an auxiliary member spaced apart from the fixing member, and supporting posts disposed between the fixing member and the auxiliary member. The fixing member is to be bonded to the display panel. A projection of an outer edge of the auxiliary member on a plane of the fixing member is outside of an outer edge of the fixing member. The supporting posts and the auxiliary member are removed after the display panel is bonded to the fixing member. A method for assembling the display panel with the fixing structure is also disclosed.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a method for deep application discovery and forensics of a reference system includes a computing device, such as an orchestrator, receiving and/or obtaining from an inspection layer executing on the reference system, during runtime of the reference system, architecture and configuration information describing the reference system. Also, the computing device generates, during runtime of the reference system, dependency matrices describing relationships between components of the reference system which allow for generation, during runtime of the reference system, at least one threat model describing vulnerabilities of the reference system based on the dependency matrices. The inspection layer identifies the applications and databases accessed by the applications.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are optical systems (e.g., LiDAR systems) and methods with improved eye safety. In some embodiments, a system includes a first light emitter configured to illuminate a first field of view (FOV) using light emitted at a first wavelength and a second light emitter configured to illuminate a second FOV using light emitted at a second wavelength. The second FOV is wider than the first FOV, and the first FOV extends to a further distance from the system than the second FOV. The system also includes a sensor configured to detect reflections off of targets within the second FOV, and at least one processor configured to execute one or more machine executable instructions.

Abstract: A remote sensing device is described. The remote sensing device includes an enclosure that houses a smartphone processor, a smartphone memory, a sensor module, a separate microcontroller, and a wireless communication module. The remote sensing device includes a smartphone operating system having a kernel that includes a plurality of device drivers. The smartphone processor, smartphone memory, sensor module and wireless communications module are managed by the smartphone operating system. The separate microcontroller includes a power management module. A battery is electrically coupled to the microcontroller. The battery powers the smartphone processor, the smartphone memory, and the sensor module. The wireless communication module is communicatively coupled to a wide area network. The wireless communication module receives an over-the-air (OTA) update for a device driver associated with the sensor module.

Abstract: A door strike assembly includes a strike housing and latch release assembly. The door strike assembly is used in conjunction with a lockset which includes a door latch moveable from a latched condition when a door is closed and an unlatched condition where the door may be opened. The lockset includes a deadlatch to prevent unauthorized movement of the door latch when the door is closed. The latch release assembly is received within the strike housing and includes a latch ejector which engages the deadlatch when the door is closed. A motor is coupled to the latch ejector where actuation of the motor rotates the latch ejector to disengage the latch ejector from the deadlatch. Further rotation of the latch ejector causes the latch ejector to engage the door latch to move the door latch to the unlatched condition such that the door may be opened.

Abstract: A switching system is connected to the power amplifier of an RF system. The switching system can switch the DC supply voltage to the power amplifier while handling the high DC current and the nanosecond switching speed requirements that are mandatory for most RF systems. The embodiments can rapidly control DC voltages but not interfere with the optimized operation of the RF transistor. The embodiments provide a desired sharp turn-on leading edge for an RF pulse while eliminating the extremely long and undesirable ramp down that typically occurs beyond the desired RF pulse period.

Abstract: The techniques described herein relate to methods, apparatus, and computer readable media configured to determine a current data transmission sequence number for a next packet in a communication session with a remote computing device. An interruption in the communication session is detected. Checkpointed data for the communication session is determined that is indicative of a previous sequence number used for a previous packet sent to the remote computing device. A resolution procedure is performed to determine the current data transmission sequence number for the next packet in the communication session, including determining an estimated next sequence number for transmitting data in the communication session based on the checkpointed data, transmitting a first packet to the remote computing device, receiving a second packet from the remote computing device that has an associated sequence number, and determining the current sequence number for the next packet in the communication session.

Abstract: A method for facilitating an on-demand multimedia priority service (MPS) for a data transport services (DTS) session to receive end to end prioritization within 5G Core (5GC) and radio access network (RAN) is provided. The method includes: propagating an MPS On-Demand indication to 5GC network functions and RAN via (a) Policy Control Function sending an MPS On-Demand indication to Session Management Function (SMF) when a authorized user initiates such a service usage, (b) SMF recording the on session demand status and sending the MPS On-Demand indication to an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF), and (c) AMF, in response to receiving the MPS On-Demand indication, upgrading the user for multimedia priority services in the 5G core based on policy, and sending to user equipment (UE), an MPS indicator in downlink Non-Access Stratum (NAS) messaging to indicate that the UE may use MPS access identity to receive radio access prioritization.

Abstract: The present invention is an HVAC fan array wiring system that provides a quick connect box that is provided within the air stream of an HVAC air handler. Because the wiring for each fan within the fan array is to be connected to the quick connect box, the wiring materials and placement of the wiring can be predetermined at the time the fan array is designed. Accordingly, the novel wiring system and quick connect box reduces redundancies in manufacturing and installation of the fan array. Furthermore, the quick connect box and wiring system allows for easy installation of the HVAC fan array at a job site and improves a customer's experience with the control panel. This is primarily because, with the use of the claimed invention, an electrician need only link a main control and power line to the quick connect box and therefore, can install the control panel in a location that provides ease of access to the customer.

The method includes (a) receiving by the first UPF from the second UPF, information indicating a bandwidth being consumed by the second UPF, (b) receiving by the first UPF from the third UPF, information indicating a bandwidth being consumed by the third UPF, (c) sending from the first UPF to the second UPF, information indicating a bandwidth being consumed by the first UPF and the third UPF, and (d) sending from the first UPF to the third UPF, information indicating the bandwidth being consumed by the first UPF and the second UPF. Thus, each of the first, second and third UPFs is aware of a total bandwidth being consumed for the APN.

Abstract: A computerized method for directing transmission of a data packet within a distributed cloud computing system is disclosed. The computerized method includes operations of receiving, by a receiving gateway instance deployed within the distributed cloud computing system, the data packet, when a session corresponding to the data packet is found via a session lookup, forwarding the data packet to a destination in accordance with the session lookup, and when the session is not found via the session lookup, creating a tentative forward session and forwarding the data packet to a peer gateway instance. In some instances, the data packet is a User Datagram Protocol (UDP) packet. In some instances, the data packet is received from either of a spoke gateway instance or a transit gateway instance, and wherein the spoke gateway instance or the transit gateway instance is deployed within the distributed cloud computing system.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a terrestrial to air communications network that can be configured to include a spectrum management system that deterministically allocates spectrum to aircraft for use during flight. In one or more examples, a user transmits a flight plan to a spectrum management system that is configured to manage the RF spectrum in a given air space. In one or more examples, and based on the received flight plan, the spectrum management system can allocate an RF spectrum frequency “slot” (i.e., timeslot, subchannel, or resource block) for the aircraft to use during its intended flight. The spectrum management system can take into account available spectrum as well as the predicted network traffic and their spectrum allocations to determine an RF spectrum slot that can provide a stable and continuous communications channel to the aircraft during its flight.
