Abstract: A method of separating an analyte from a biological sample is described. The method comprises providing particles capable of binding said analyte when present in a solution in a container, said container comprising walls, wherein at least a part of said walls is flexible. The particles are suspended in the solution by exerting a force on the flexible part of the walls of the container more than one time. An aliquot of the suspended particles is then removed from the container. The removed aliquot is dispensed into a sample, and the sample is incubated under conditions suitable to immobilize said analyte on the particles. The particles with the bound analyte are then separated from other material and at least part of the biological sample is removed.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide for routing a net of a circuit design using multiple layer ranges. In particular, some embodiments route a net of a circuit design using multiple layer ranges by performing routing of the net over multiple iterations such that at each iteration, a layer bound of a layer range is gradually adjusted (e.g., relaxed) based on wirelength, wire detour, or congestion of a routing result of a prior iteration. For instance, some embodiments may gradually relax a layer bound of the layer range by increasing a layer upper bound or decreasing a layer lower bound.

Abstract: A sound absorbing filter for a dust collector system is attached downstream of the system air blower and ahead of the cylindrical HEPA filter cartridge. The sound filter is formed of a cylindrical barrel or shell, favorably steel, another metal, plastics, or composite with end-caps bonded on. The cylindrical shell interior is lined with plural annular layers of sound absorbing materials. The sound absorbing elements are retained with two or more thin retainer plates The lining can comprise a radial outer layer of compressed fiber batting, and a radial inner layer of convoluted acoustic polyurethane foam 1 to 2 inches thick. The foam lining protects the fiberglass from the air flow reducing fiber shedding, and also absorbs higher frequencies, with the fiberglass being more absorptive of lower frequencies.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for automatic signal detection in an RF environment are disclosed. A sensor device in a nodal network comprises at least one RF receiver, a generator engine, and an analyzer engine. The at least one RF receiver measures power levels in the RF environment and generates FFT data based on power level data. The generator engine calculates a power distribution by frequency of the RF environment in real time or near real time, including a first derivative and a second derivative of the FFT data. The analyzer engine creates a baseline based on statistical calculations of the power levels measured in the RF environment for a predetermined period of time, and identifies at least one signal based on the first derivative and the second derivative of FFT data in at least one conflict situation from comparing live power distribution to the baseline of the RF environment.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to systems and methods for improving the training of machine learning systems to recognize certain objects within a given image by supplementing an existing sparse set of real-world training images with a comparatively dense set of realistic training images. Embodiments may create such a dense set of realistic training images by training a machine learning translator with a convolutional autoencoder to translate a dense set of synthetic images of an object into more realistic training images. Embodiments may also create a dense set of realistic training images by training a generative adversarial network (“GAN”) to create realistic training images from a combination of the existing sparse set of real-world training images and either Gaussian noise, translated images, or synthetic images.
