  • Patent number: 10551431
Abstract: Described is an improved approach to implement EM analysis, where the analysis can be performed early stages of the design process. Tree-routing is implemented using a structural routing solution, where an automatic routing mechanism is performed to generate a complete routing tree. • Patent number: 10551395
Abstract: Processing specimens in an automated histological staining system comprising robotically moving a slide carrier into a stainer of the system, the slide carrier carrying slides which respectively carry the specimens, and the specimens being at least partially embedded in paraffin. Liquids are automatically dispensed onto the slides according to a predetermined recipe for at least deparaffinizing, staining, and counterstaining the specimens. The slide carrier can be robotically moved out of the stainer after automatically dispensing the liquids. In some embodiments, a total of all liquid dispensed onto the slides after moving the slide carrier into the stainer and before moving the slide carrier out of the stainer has a greater volumetric concentration of polyol than of monohydric alcohol.

  • Publication number: 20200034680
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatus, and tangible non-transitory carrier media encoded with one or more computer programs that can determine the path or route most likely navigated by a mobile target are described. In accordance with particular embodiments, the most likely path or route is determined based on path-based scoring of position estimates obtained from different types of complementary locationing signal sources. Instead of fusing the position data derived from the different types of signal sources, these particular embodiments determine the most likely path navigated by the mobile target based on an independent aggregation of the position estimates derived from complementary signals of different source types.

  • Publication number: 20200030634
Abstract: A radiation therapy system is configured to enable imaging and treatment of a target volume during a single patient breath hold. The radiation system includes a rotating gantry on which are mounted a treatment-delivering X-ray source and multiple imaging X-ray sources and corresponding X-ray imaging devices. The multiple imaging X-ray sources and X-ray imaging devices enable the acquisition of volumetric image data for the target volume over a relatively short rotational arc, for example 30 degrees or less. Therefore, intra-fraction motion can be detected in near-real time, for example within about one second or less. The radiation therapy system can perform image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) that monitors intra-fraction motion using X-ray imaging. Detected anatomical variations can then either be compensated for, via patient repositioning and/or treatment modification, or the current treatment can be aborted.

  • Publication number: 20200030683
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining the precise location of a target on a surface by utilizing a plurality of objects that are fixed in their position proximate to the location, thereby constituting a plurality of fixed reference points, upon which the target(s) resides or is otherwise located. • Publication number: 20200037454
Abstract: A retainer device which connects to a printed circuit board (PCB) to provide added structural rigidity to a capacitor (or other electrical component) mounted to the PCB. The retainer device is able to provide increased durability of capacitor leads against vibrational fatigue. The retainer device is designed to add structural rigidity to single or multiple capacitors soldered to a PCB. The retainer device exerts a positive force against the capacitor, pressing the capacitor against the PCB. This in turn limits the fatigue deflection of the capacitor leads. The retainer device has at least one spring retention ring, where the spring retention ring is able to apply force to the capacitor, which aids in ensuring that the capacitor is flush to the surface of the PCB, which reduces the load on the leads of the capacitor.

  • Publication number: 20200030636
Abstract: A radiation therapy system delivers radiation treatment over a 360-degree arc and performs a prepended imaging process, in a single pass, via an extended rotation gantry. While rotating the gantry in one direction about a bore of the radiation system, the radiation system generates multiple images of a target volume disposed in the bore using an imaging X-ray source mounted on the gantry. Then while continuing to rotate the gantry in the same direction, the radiation system delivers a treatment beam to the target volume using a treatment-delivering X-ray source mounted on the gantry, where the treatment beam is delivered from some or all of a 360-degree arc about the bore. Thus, the prepended imaging process and the delivery of radiation are performed in a single-pass of the gantry about a target volume, eliminating the need for a return stroke of the gantry for completion.

  • Publication number: 20200031391
Abstract: An oscillation limited driven steering track assembly includes a track mechanism coupled to and driven by a hydraulic motor. The motor is pivotally secured about a steering axis to a stub axle which partially supports a land vehicle. A longitudinally extensible and retractable apparatus extends between the track mechanism and the stub axle. One end of the apparatus is pivotally secured to a post secured to and extending from the track mechanism parallel with the motor shaft axis of rotation. A yoke is provided between the apparatus other end and pivotally secures the apparatus to the stub axle about the steering axis and, also, about a pivot axis perpendicular to the steering axis. Oscillation of the track mechanism about the motor shaft is limited by the apparatus. Simultaneously, the apparatus does not interfere with the track mechanism while the mechanism is rotated about the steering axis for steering the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20200034999
Abstract: A method of generating an image synthesis process is disclosed, where the image synthesis process improves image quality of degraded volumetric images. In the method, a machine learning process is trained in a supervised learning framework as the image synthesis process. In the supervised learning process, a lower-quality partial-data reconstruction of a target volume is employed as an input object in the supervised learning process and a higher-quality full data reconstruction of the target volume is employed as an expected output. The full data reconstruction is generated based on a first set of projection images of the three-dimensional volume and the partial-data reconstruction is generated based on a second set of projection images of the three-dimensional volume, where the second set of projection images includes projection images that have less image information and/or are of a lower image quality than the first set of projection images.
