Abstract: This disclosure relates to a system configured to generate synchronized electronic vehicle event records. The synchronized vehicle event records may include vehicle operation information, video information, and/or other information. The synchronized electronic vehicle event records may be generated remotely (e.g., “in the cloud”) from a vehicle. The system is configured to communicate with factory installed and/or other (e.g., third party) vehicle systems to generate the vehicle event information and/or cause other information relevant to a particular vehicle event to be transmitted in addition to the vehicle event information. By communicating with existing vehicle systems and causing these systems to transmit information related to vehicle events themselves, and generating the synchronized electronic vehicle event records remotely from a vehicle the system reduces the amount and/or cost of aftermarket equipment that must be installed in a vehicle for vehicle event monitoring.

Abstract: The present enhancement leaves production systems undisturbed while a remote application (“testbed application”) executes elsewhere (“testbed host”). An intermediary computing device hosts an enhanced pseudo-disk driver, pseudo-disks, and an enhanced media agent. The enhanced pseudo-disk driver creates the pseudo-disks, each one representing an associated point-in-time backup image residing in secondary storage. A network, e.g., an Internet Protocol (IP) network or a Fiber Channel (FC) Storage Area Network (SAN), connects the intermediary device with the testbed host, and the enhanced media agent exposes pseudo-disks over the network using iSCSI or FC protocol, respectively. The testbed application uses an exposed pseudo-disk as its recovery data source, such that pseudo-disk resources provide data on an as-needed basis sufficient for the testbed application to operate, yet (a) without restoring the entire associated backup image from secondary storage and (b) without impacting the production environment.
Abstract: A network environment includes a client station coupled to a proxy server via a first network and one or more content servers coupled to the proxy server via a second network. A plurality of connections are established between the client station and the proxy server over the first network. Abstract: Methods and systems for an auditing infrastructure for an Internet fax service architecture are provided. According to one embodiment, a chronological record of a sequence of events associated with components of the Internet fax system is maintained by a central logging module in a form of an audit log for purposes of auditing security and compliance. A fax request is submitted. A work request is created, containing information identifying a selected imaging system. Source files to be included in the fax message are converted into a digital representation and associated with an outbound fax job, which is queued for sending by a fax server. The fax message is delivered and the user is notified regarding same. Audit log entries are stored within the audit log by providing by respective components the central logging module with a unique job identifier associated with the fax request and a result of the task.

Abstract: Methods and systems for recording streaming audio and video by directing an incoming audio visual stream to a discrete memory region serving as a virtual display. The virtual display is configured with a section visible to the viewer and a section invisible to the viewer, wherein a streaming video is hidden from the user's display under all conditions. The user's browser is pre-loaded with hooks to redirect the video portion of the stream to the invisible section of the virtual memory wherein a video capture tool specifically designed to interact with the hooks can now recognize each function call, and intercept each frame as it is rendered in the GPU. Concurrently, the audio portion of the stream is remapped using an audio indexing application. The GPU framebuffers and audio sinks are multiplexed together and saved to disk. The file is immediately accessible for playback or copying.
Abstract: Methods and system for enabling locally generated transition graphics interaction with virtualized host computer service includes receiving a control command issued by a user to control screen data currently being rendered at the display device, at a display device of a client device. The control command is transmitted to the host computer service for processing. The host computer service processes the control command and returns updated screen data to the client device. In response to the receipt of the updated screen data, the client device identifies a desired screen effect associated with the control command. The updated screen data received from the host computer service is packaged at the client device with data associated with the desired screen effect to generate a visual response at the client device. The packaged screen effect is returned to the display device for rendering, in response to the control command.
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for implementing legal placement with contextual awareness for an electronic design. These techniques identify one or more hierarchies from one or more groups or one or more instances located at these one or more hierarchies in a layout or floorplan. A plurality of instances including the one or more identified instances may be promoted to an honorary top hierarchy. A layout operation may then be performed on the one or more identified instances based in part or in whole upon a boundary requirement and context information.
Abstract: Methods and systems for expedited authentication for mobile applications are described herein. A user of a mobile device may authenticate with an enterprise system, and thereby be granted access to enterprise applications and services on the mobile device. The user may then activate an application in a managed partition of the mobile device. The application may determine that the enterprise system supports expedited authentication. The application may request expedited authentication, and the request may be compared to policies for expedited authentication. If the request is permitted, the application may be granted access to an authorization code for expedited authentication. The application may then perform the expedited authentication, and the user may be granted access to the application when the expedited authentication has completed.
Abstract: In the cup-shaped externally toothed gear, the outside end face profile of the diaphragm is defined by a first concave circular arc having a first radius, a second concave circular arc that has a second radius and is smoothly connected to the first concave circular arc, an inclined straight line that is smoothly connected to the second concave circular arc and is inclined toward an inside straight line with respect to the center axis line, the inside straight line defining the outside profile of the diaphragm. The second radius is larger than the first radius, and the thickness of the diaphragm is gradually decreased from the side of the boss to the side of the cylindrical body. The stress concentration in the boss-side joint portion of the diaphragm can be relieved, whereby enhancing fatigue strength of the flexible externally toothed gear.
