  • Patent number: 10353871
Abstract: In general, a data synchronization management system is disclosed in which files (and/or other data) are synchronized among two or more client computing devices in connection with a backup of those files. Synchronization polices specify files to be synchronized based on selected criteria including file data, metadata, and location information. In general, files are initially copied from a primary client computing device to secondary storage. Thereafter, files to be synchronized are identified from the secondary storage, and copied to other client computing devices. Additionally, synchronized files may be viewed and accessed through a cloud and/or remote file access interface.

  • Patent number: 10351968
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for electroplating are described. Apparatus described herein include anode supports including positioning mechanisms that maintain a consistent distance between the surface of the wafer and the surface of a consumable anode during plating. Greater uniformity control is achieved. The consumable anode in one implementation has a plurality of through channels and at least one depression on its surface (e.g., a depression surrounding a channel) that is configured for registering with a protrusion on a component of an anode assembly, such as with a support plate. Fasteners may pass through the channels in the anode and attach it to a charge plate.

  • Patent number: 10352806
Abstract: A pressure sensor device which uses appropriate passivation materials/patterns to make the device more robust and resistant to a hot and humid environment. The pressure sensor device uses moisture resistant passivation material(s) covering exposed glass areas, including sidewalls, and bonding interfaces to avoid the glass and bonding interfaces absorbing and reacting with moisture, thus maintaining the integrity of the device output after exposure in a humid/hot environment. These passivation materials/patterns used for the MEMS devices described may be applied to any MEMS based sensors and actuators using glass as one type of material for fabrication. The pressure sensor devices may be front side absolute pressure sensors, differential pressure sensors, or back side absolute pressure sensors.

  • Patent number: 10352863
Abstract: The present invention comprises a novel approach for optimizing detection performance of a standoff optical detection system using the inelastic scattering of light from the target and/or inelastic scattering of light from molecules between the light emitting source and the target. This is a useful approach primarily for systems which already employ a pulsed light source, a detector, and a timing mechanism but whose primary function is not the detection of range. Using this methodology removes the need to deploy a secondary device to find range or augments the ability of any included range finder to widen the overall system operating envelope, reliability, and performance.

  • Patent number: 10351118
Abstract: A vehicle brake system has front and rear wheel brakes with each brake including a caliper associated with a rotor. A master cylinder is activated by a brake pedal to which the wheel brakes are connected. An electrically controllable pressure generating device delivers a brake system pressure. A plurality of valves is fluidly coupled between the calipers and the master cylinder. A control unit has a processor circuit to determine if the vehicle is operating under a condition where brake noise can occur and if so, the control unit controls the pressure generating device and certain of the valves to selectively control caliper pressure by supplying pressure or releasing pressure to certain ones of the calipers to reduce the brake noise, while ensuring adequate braking of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10356621
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for a browser plug-in for accessing hosted websites and web applications are presented. The browser plug-in executing within a user web browser application may query a beacon to determine that the user web browser application is executing outside of the secure network. The browser plug-in may receive a request comprising an internal URL for a website executing within the secure network. The browser plug-in may identify one or more policies for the website and use the one or more policies to redirect the user web browser application from the internal URL to an external URL for a hosted web browser application executing within the secure network. As a result, the hosted web browser application may be navigated to the website, and a client agent executing within the user web browser application may present the hosted web browser application.

  • Patent number: 10355920
Abstract: A machine monitoring system uses generically defined collection definitions, acquisition definitions, and measurement definitions to define machine data to be collected by machine monitoring devices and other data sources in a unified and device/source independent manner. Configuration software of the machine monitoring system defines data to be collected for a particular machine in such a manner that multiple different types of monitoring devices or data sources can each interpret the data definitions and provide the same type of data back to the software system. Thus, the data to be collected is defined once by the configuration software, and the data definition is interpreted internally by each monitoring device or data source. This greatly simplifies the monitoring system and provides the advantage that new monitoring devices can be added to the system to collect data without impacting the software configuration of the data required.

  • Patent number: 10352956
Abstract: A method is described for automatically determining a proper threshold for a tachometer signal in order to produce desired tachometer pulses necessary for analysis of machine vibration data. A tachometer signal is low-pass filtered to exclude high frequency noise and a running derivative of the filtered tachometer waveform is taken to create a derivative waveform. Another waveform is created that includes only positive values from the derivative waveform that correspond to positive values in the low-pass filtered tachometer waveform. In general, a tachometer signal has the greatest derivative value (slope) when a tachometer pulse is present. Based on this observation, a threshold value is determined using both the low-pass filtered tachometer waveform and the positive-value derivative waveform along with statistics from both waveforms.

  • Patent number: 10354037
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and articles of manufacture for manipulating a hierarchical structure of the electronic design. These techniques identify a set of layout components instantiated from a layout of an electronic design. This set of layout components may constitute, for example, a FigGroup. One or more schematic instances and corresponding schematic connectivity information may be identified from a schematic design of the electronic design, and the one or more schematic instances correspond to the set of layout components. A layout cell or a figure group may be generated for the set of layout components based in part or in whole upon the schematic connectivity information. The original layout may then be transformed into a transformed layout at least by replacing the set of layout components with the generated layout cell or figure group.
