  • Patent number: 11474016
Abstract: A particle monitoring device includes a camera sensor for imaging particles, a set of light sources, and an optical component. A first light source provides light of a first color component. A second light source provides light of a second color component. The optical component receives light of the first color component in a first direction from the first light source, and redirects the light of the first color component in an output direction towards the particles to illuminate the particles using light of the first color component. The optical component receives light of a second color component in a second direction, different from the first direction, from the second light source, and redirects the light of the second color component in the output direction towards the particles to illuminate the particles using light of the second color component.

  • Patent number: 11477787
Abstract: Assigning resources for transmitting signals to a user equipment includes receiving, at a first node having a first coverage area, an indication of an overlapping coverage area from a second node when the second node is a non-terrestrial node having a second coverage area that overlaps with the first coverage area. Request for resources are received from a user equipment in the first coverage area, and resources assignments to the user equipment are determined based on the first message and the received request. The resource assignments include a first resource assignment for communication with the first node and a second resource assignment for communication with the second node. The resource assignments are transmitted in a second message to the user equipment, which then communicates with the first node using the first resource assignment and to communication with the second node using the second resource assignment.

  • Patent number: 11475402
Abstract: A system actuates a force mechanism to control a force applied to items on a shelf. An amount of force to be applied to items on a shelf can depend upon context data associated with a user. The user context data may be based on an analysis of sensor data, such as image data or proximity data. Once user context data has been determined, configuration data can be generated and transmitted to the force mechanism to apply the designated amount of force to the items on the shelf. One way to apply the designated amount of force to the items on the shelf is to lift one end of the shelf upwards to create an angle between the shelf and a horizontal surface, using a height adjustment mechanism and a hinge. The variation in the angle produces different levels of force on the items.

  • Patent number: 11477847
Abstract: A system can receive, over one or more networks, location data from a computing device of a requesting user, where the location data indicates a current position of the requesting user. The system can repeatedly determine, based at least in part on location data corresponding to a directional heading of a proximate transport provider in relation to the current position of the requesting user, an optimal rendezvous location for the requesting user prior to the requesting user transmitting a service request to the network computer system. The system may then transmit, over the one or more networks, data corresponding to the optimal rendezvous location to the computing device of the requesting user.
