Abstract: A liner hanger assembly to run-in a liner on a liner hanger, cement the liner in place and set the liner hanger in one trip. Then, a wellbore treatment process can proceed while the running string remains downhole or via a second trip. The liner hanger assembly includes a liner hanger running tool and a liner hanger.

Abstract: Processes increase light absorption into silicon wafers by selectively changing the reflective properties of the bottom portions of light trapping cavity features. Modification of light trapping features includes: deepening the bottom portion, increasing the curvature of the bottom portion, and roughening the bottom portion, all accomplished through etching. Modification may also be by the selective addition of material at the bottom of cavity features. Different types of features in the same wafers may be treated differently. Some may receive a treatment that improves light trapping while another is deliberately excluded from such treatment. Some may be deepened, some roughened, some both. No alignment is needed to achieve this selectively. The masking step achieves self-alignment to previously created light trapping features due to softening and deformation in place.

Abstract: A mobile device captures information from a document. The mobile device selects a template stored in a memory of the mobile device. The selected template describes data content of at least one document. The mobile device then captures an image of a document, determines that the image corresponds to one document described by the selected template by verifying that at least one first region in the image corresponds to a region of the document described by the selected template, identifies at least one region in the image that corresponds with a region in the document described by the selected template, and processes information in the identified region in the image. The mobile device then aggregates application specific information from the processed information and presents the aggregated application specific information to a user program operating on the mobile device.

Abstract: A method for imparting a pattern to a flowable resist material on a substrate entails providing a resist layer so thin that during a stamp wedging process, the resist never completely fills the space between the substrate and the bottom surface of a stamp between wedge protrusions, leaving gap everywhere therebetween. A gap remains between the resist and the extended surface of the stamp. If the resist layer as deposited is somewhat thicker than the targeted amount, it will simply result in a smaller gap between resist and tool. The presence of a continuous gap assures that no pressure builds under the stamp. Thus, the force on the protrusions i determined only by the pressure above the stamp and is well controlled, resulting in well-controlled hole sizes. The gap prevents resist from being pumped entirely out of any one region, and thus prevents any regions from being uncovered of resist. The stamp can be pulsed in its contact with the substrate, repeatedly deforming the indenting protrusions.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for forming continuous laser filaments in transparent materials. A burst of ultrafast laser pulses is focused such that a beam waist is formed external to the material being processed without forming an external plasma channel, while a sufficient energy density is formed within an extended region within the material to support the formation of a continuous filament, without causing optical breakdown within the material. Filaments formed according to this method may exhibit lengths exceeding 10 mm. In some embodiments, an aberrated optical focusing element is employed to produce an external beam waist while producing distributed focusing of the incident beam within the material. Various systems are described that facilitate the formation of filament arrays within transparent substrates for cleaving/singulation and/or marking. Optical monitoring of the filaments may be employed to provide feedback to facilitate active control of the process.

Abstract: This invention reveals a conveyor belt which is comprised of a carry cover layer, a tie gum layer which is situated immediately below the carry cover layer, a reinforcement layer which includes steel cords which are embedded in polychloroprene and which is situated immediately below the tie gum layer, and a rubber layer which is situated immediately below the reinforcement layer, wherein the carry cover layer is comprised of a millable urethane rubber. The tie gum layer will typically be an alloy of polyvinylchloride and nitrile rubber to attain good adhesion between the carry cover layer and the reinforcement layer. The subject invention also reveals a conveyor belt which is comprised of a carry cover layer, a reinforcement layer which includes a resorcinol-formaldehyde-latex coated fabric reinforcement, and a rubber layer which is situated immediately below the reinforcement layer, wherein the carry cover layer is comprised of a millable urethane rubber.

Abstract: A system and method for detection of multipath and transmit level adaptation thereto in ultrasonic locationing of a mobile device within an environment includes providing fixed ultrasonic emitters for transmitting ultrasonic bursts at predetermined times. A communication device measuring at least a direct signal of each ultrasonic burst and detecting multipath of each ultrasonic burst by comparing an amplitude of the direct signal with other signals related to the ultrasonic burst. If multipath is detected a controller increasing a transmit power level of the ultrasonic burst to insure the direct signal reliably remains above the detection threshold. If multipath is not detected reduce a transmit power level to the point detection is just possible. Results from non-multipath conditions are more heavily weighted when determining position as they are typically more accurate.

Abstract: According to certain non-limiting embodiments disclosed herein, the functionality of a server is extended with a mechanism for identifying connections with clients that have exhibited attack characteristics (for example, characteristics indicating a DoS attack), and for transitioning internal ownership of those connections such that server resources consumed by the connection are reduced, while keeping the connection open. The connection thus moves from a state of relatively high resource use to a state of relatively low server resource use. According to certain non-limiting embodiments disclosed herein, the functionality of a server is extended by enabling the server to determine that any of a client and a connection exhibits one or more attack characteristics (e.g., based on at least one of client attributes, connection attributes, and client behavior during the connection, or otherwise). As a result of the determination, the server changes its treatment of the connection.

Abstract: A disclosed method identifies a subject matter expert in an online community for a business entity. The method is performed at a server having one or more processors and memory. The method identifies a plurality of subject matter areas for postings on a website for an online community, and each posting is assigned to one or more of the subject matter areas. For a first subject matter area a set of users is identified, each of whom has authored a plurality of postings assigned to the first subject matter area. A first user of the set of users is identified as a subject matter expert for the first subject matter area based on a determination that the first user's postings assigned to the first subject matter area have consistently been highly relevant to the first subject matter area over a predefined period of time.

Abstract: The bulb socket comprises a main body, a lighting module, and an adapter cover. The main body has a head portion and a carrying portion arranged on two opposite end portions thereof. The lighting module is fixed on the carrying portion of the main body and electrically connecting to the head portion. The adapter cover module has a translucent cover and a power supply. The translucent cover is disposed on the carrying portion of the main body for allowing light generated from the lighting module to go through the translucent cover. The translucent cover has a receiving compartment. The power supply unit is disposed on the receiving compartment and electrically connecting to the head portion. Thus, the bulb socket of the instant disclosure can be used for being inserted by an electronic device.

One processor among a plurality of link processors is elected as a management processor. The management processor obtains information about available resources of PCIe network. When a resource request from a request processor is received, the management processor allocates a resource of the available resources to the requesting processor. The management processor instructs one or more link processors to program one or more inter-domain NTBs through which the traffic between the allocated resource and the requesting processor is going to flow according to the memory address information of the allocated resource, to allow cross-domain resource access between the requesting processor and the allocated resource.

After the first planned path associated with the second vehicle is received, a second planned path is generated based on the first planned path associated with the second vehicle and at least one of the mission requirement assigned to the first vehicle or the first planned path of the first vehicle. The second planned path of the first vehicle is transmitted to the second vehicle.
