Abstract: A zipper closable billfold having inside it a zippered money compartment, several open compartments, a loop for a comb and a ring for keys, on the outside of the billfold a ticket pocket and a change pocket mounted thereon are surrounded by a large zippered pocket and on the other side of the outside another large zippered pocket can hold bulky items such as rulers.

Abstract: A disc-like sheet of pressure-sensitive material rests on a turntable rotatably mounted on a housing. The sheet has spaced scale markings there on around its circumference indicating units of time. A stylus arm is movably mounted on the housing in proximity with the turntable and has a stylus affixed to, and extending from, its free end and abutting the sheet of material at its axial area. The housing has a clock motor and solenoid electrically connected between an electrical appliance and a source of electrical energy. The motor rotates the turntable one revolution in a predetermined period of time. The solenoid moves the stylus to the circumferential area of the sheet during the operation energization and of the appliance to record such operation in the circumferential area during the time of operation. The stylus is in the axial area of the sheet during deenergization of the appliance to record inoperativeness of the appliance in the axial area.

Abstract: An appliance to enable a person to install on or remove a boot from his foot without requiring use of his hands. The device is in the form of a pair of spaced vertical standards joined to a common base with brackets mounted on the internal opposing faces of the standards for holding of a loose boot by means of engagement to holes in the sides of the boot or cord loops extending from the sides of the boot. A treadle is hinged to a projection extending rearwards of the base and pivotally mounted to the rear of a U-shaped boot jack that is pivotally mounted between the standards so that a boot, to be removed from a foot, may be clamped by the book jack with the second foot of the user pressed on the treadle to pivot the boot jack against the withdrawal force of the first foot being freed of the clamped boots.

Abstract: A pipe frame has a catapult platform attached to catapult arms which is springingly connected to the frame and the hold down mechanism has a detente which engages the platform when a user stands on the platform. The platform will tilt forwardly when a user moves forward on the platform causing the detente to release and permitting the user to be catapulted off the platform into a body of water.

Abstract: A set of round support weights connected by a hollow horizontal bottom support having perforations so that the bottom support can fill with water and not be buoyant can be connected to a crib by vertical supports engaging corner vertical rails of the crib, the crib consisting of an upper rail, a bottom rail and vertical rails connecting the upper and bottom rails with a floor clamped to a bottom of the bottom rail. A set screw can secure the corner vertical rails to the upright supports and adjustable coping locks attached to diagonally opposite corners of the upper rails of the crib can secure the upper rails of the crib to a coping of a pool, so children of different ages may be able to use a pool while their parents are free to use the pool at the same time.

Abstract: A hand auger comprises a frustoconical sheet of material split along a lateral strip to form a pair of lateral edges in spaced relation radially and circumferentially. One of the edges is an inner edge of predetermined length and the other of the edges is an outer edge having a length longer than the predetermined length and extending beyond the inner edge at the bottom edge of the sheet. The bottom edge of the sheet is of spiral configuration from the bottom of the inner edge to the bottom of the outer edge. The base edge is of split circular configuration.

Abstract: A device for securing an object such as a wallet in a pocket of a pair of pants has a body member and a clip attached to an upper portion of the body member. A wedge extends from a side of the body member. The wedge abuts the object in the pocket when the clip is on a belt of the pair of pants to secure the object in the pocket.

Abstract: A telephone holder which comprises a cradle enclosing a telephone hand set and an arcuate, head-engaging plastic or metal band connected to the cradle by a universal joint.

Abstract: A portable barbecue unit the housing of which is a case fitted with a hinged cover inside of which are a pair of containers which serve as charcoal burner units, each fitted with one side formed as a grate. The burner units may be mounted, with the cover opened, so that the grates of the two burner units face each other in spaced vertical array. A hinged grill may be fixed to a handle that is rotatably mounted in attachable brackets to the housing between the erected burner units. Alternately the burner units may be mounted side by side in the container with the grates forming a continuous surface on which the grill may be rested. Each burner unit is shaped as a box with one side hinged to the burner unit for replacement of charcoal.

Abstract: A pair of C-type open hook members extend from a first surface of a plank-type member in spaced parallel relation with each other at intermediate points between the ends of the member. The hook members releasably support a rifle at points thereof between the barrel and stock. A pair of bands of soft material are mounted on the first surface of the member at the opposite ends thereof. A fastening device affixes the member to the roof of a vehicle in the cab of the vehicle parallel to the upper edge of the windshield with the opposite surface of the member abutting the roof whereby the member releasably supports a rifle in the hook members thereof with the bands preventing scratching of the stock and barrel.

Abstract: A kit containing an inflatable balloon, a length of tethering cord attached to a balloon harness and a container of gas for inflating the balloon. The harness is formed of four shaped flat cards, each joined by a flat elastic band to a cross-piece bracket, with a cord extending from each card to the tethering cord. When the balloon is inflated, with the cross-piece bracket externally mounted about the top of the balloon, each elastic band extends to a card mounted about a lower quadrant of the balloon, with each card held in a plane substantially perpendicular to the two adjacent cards. The balloon and cards are externally covered with a coating that reflects both light and radar waves. The elasticity of the bands enables the balloon to uniformly expand as it rises, and the cards serve to extend the plane of visual and radar reflection.

Abstract: An endless belt is mounted on, and extends between, a pair of elongated rollers rotatably mounted in a housing in spaced parallel relation parallel to, and in proximity with, the top and bottom of the housing. A plurality of shelf members are affixed to the belt and extend perpendicularly from the belt in spaced parallel relation for releasably storing files between next-adjacent shelf members. A motor coupled to one of the rollers rotates the rollers and the belt to move the shelf members cyclically from top to bottom to top inside the housing. An opening is formed in the front of the housing and covered by a selectively openable door to provide access to the shelf members for inserting and removing files.

Abstract: An apparatus is constructed utilizing electromechanical devices only, for use as a game apparatus, whose rules of operation imitate those of golf, and whose action is responsive to skill of the operator. The apparatus is formed of a display unit on which a simulated golf ball travels a distance over a display of a golf course in response to the striking by a user with a golf club of a captive golf ball mounted on a driving range unit of the device. The simulated golf ball is mounted to a belt that is driven by a first motorized unit at a fixed speed of travel and for a period of time controlled by a momentum device connected by a flexible cable to a pivoted lever fixed to the captive golf ball.

Abstract: Fishing rod attachment, through which fishing line is passed, responsive to the tension in line developed by the pull of a fish caught on the line, which attachment includes an indicating light that is turned on when the line is under tension. The reverse motion of reeling the line back is not impeded by the attachment.

Abstract: A collapsible reading stand consists of a plurality of upright stick-like support members and a plurality of strut members pivotally affixed to each other in a manner whereby they are collapsible relative to each other and extendable to form a stand for supporting a book-supporting member. The book-supporting member is positionable in selected grooves formed in the support members for supporting a book at a desired inclination.

Abstract: A plurality of rolls of flexible fence cable are wound on a shaft in a drum. The free ends of the cables outside the drum are affixed to a cross bar in spaced parallel relation with each other. The fence cables are unwound through side holes formed in the drum and via a guide member in the drum and are extended via the cross bar to the next-adjacent fence post.

Abstract: Heavy cloth-like material is shaped as a rectangular parallelepiped and has sides or ends having a length corresponding to the length of a king-sized mattress and a bottom having a width corresponding to the thickness of a king-sized mattress. A pair of carrying straps of endless square 0 configuration are affixed to the bottom of the material and to the sides at corresponding opposite ends of the parallelepiped. The straps extend in loops from the opposite ends of the parallelepiped at angles with the bottom, whereby two people, each holding the extending part of a corresponding one of the straps, support and carry a mattress placed in the material and resting on the bottom thereof.

Abstract: A sponge forms an inner shaftway with interiorly projecting ribs to engage the sides of a lug nut, a shaft with a bottom plate attached to the bottom of the shaft is attached by adhesive material to the sponge body and a handle attached perpendicularly to the distal end of the shaft are used to rotate the sponge on the lug nut; the shaft can be made of round cross section with a hexagonal central shaftway or can be made of hexagonal cross section for strength of the shaft.

Abstract: A bracket has symmetrical halves having indentations formed therein for accommodating the runner of a sled. The halves have transverse bores formed therethrough for accommodating a bolt for affixing them to each other on opposite sides of the runner. The lower parts of the halves are spaced from each other for rotatably accommodating a roller therebetween.

Abstract: An adjustable picture frame assembly kit consisting of four frame legs, a front transparent panel, a rear panel, an easel and a tube of plastic glue. Each of the frame legs is in the form of a rectangular corner section, with two of the frame legs shaped to telescopically slide over the other two legs when oriented as the two diagonally opposed corners of a picture frame. The rear panel is scored with tear lines so as to simplify cutting to size, in use.
