Abstract: A housing of hand-size has a handle mounted thereon to accommodate a hand of a user with the palm of the hand on the housing. A massage ball is mounted in the housing and protrudes therefrom for free universal rotation. A motive device in the housing abuts the massage ball and imparts vibration and motion to said massage ball.

Abstract: A bookshelf unit has a pair of parallel sides spaced from each other, a distance greater than the length of a heating system radiator. The sides have a width greater than the width of the radiator. A plurality of book shelves extend between, and are supported by, the sides in spaced parallel relation. A cover panel removably mounted in the bookshelf unit covers the area between the sides and the lowermost bookshelf and thereby covers the radiator and permits a free flow of air while obstructing a view of the radiator.

Abstract: An earring has first and second semiannular parts pivotally affixed to each other at a corresponding end of each whereby when closed the parts form an annular member. A first arm extends inwardly from the opposite end of the first part at approximately 60.degree. therewith and has a pin extending therefrom perpendicularly thereto toward the second part. A notch is formed in the pin in the area of the free end thereof. A second arm extends inwardly from the opposite end of the second part at approximately 60.degree. therewith and has a bore therein for accommodating the pin whereby when the pin is passed into a pierced ear lobe and into the bore of the second arm, the pin is releasably locked to the second arm via the notch of the pin thereby releasably locking the first and second parts together to form an annular member.

Abstract: A match up game for answering questions from multiple choice answers indicates the correctness of an answer by illuminating a green lamp and indicates the incorrectness of an answer by illuminating a red lamp. The person answering the questions operates a switch indicating the question which is being answered and operates another switch which indicates the answer selected for such question.

Abstract: A plurality of distinctly different 18 hole golf tournament maps are stored in rolled condition on separate rollers in a carrying case. A golf ball driving unit simulates how far a driven golf ball will travel. The golf ball driving unit comprises a housing having an upright shaft rotatably mounted therein. An arm extends perpendicularly from the shaft and is freely rotatable with the shaft in a plane perpendicular to the shaft. A golf ball is affixed to the free end of the arm. A counter in the housing is coupled to the shaft for counting the revolutions of the shaft and indicating the number of revolutions on a distance scale thereby indicating to a user driving the golf ball wtih a golf club how far the driven ball travels to a selected hole on a selected one of the maps. A marking device indicates the distance of a drive on a selected map.

Abstract: A conga drum has a band therearound and is affixed to a frame via the band. The drum has a tapered hollow cylindrical housing covered by a skin head and having an open bottom. A piston rod type member extends into the housing of the drum through the open bottom thereof coaxially therewith and has spaced opposite first and second ends. The first end is in the housing and the second end is spaced below the housing and outside the housing. A piston type member is affixed to the first end of the piston rod type member. A pedal extends from the second end of the piston rod type member outside the housing. A moving device mounts the piston rod type member for movement in axial directions whereby the piston rod type member is axially movable via the pedal and moves the piston type member accordingly to vary the pitch of the drum.

Abstract: A cord hammock is made by knotting a plurality of long strands of cord in a manner whereby they are braided at the ends of the hammock and branch out to form a body supporting pattern.

Abstract: A scavenging valve for anesthesia gas release in pediatric anesthesia apparatus is of generally conical configuration and has an axial bore extending therethrough from an open base to an open apex with a plurality of longitudinally extending fins around the bore in the valve. The scavenging valve has a plurality of external fin-like projections at its base. Each of the fin-like projections has a hole formed therethrough for facilitating releasable affixing of the scavenging valve to an operating table to prevent shifting of the valve. A control valve comprises a pair of nipples each of generally conical configuration in base to base relation with an axial bore extending therethrough from one open apex end to the other. The control valve has a radially extending hole formed therethrough at the juncture of the bases of the nipples. The bore tapers down to each of the apices from the bases.

Abstract: A jacket of rigid thermal insulation, containing a thermally reflective coating on its inner surface, is movably mounted on a hot water tank (gas-, electric-, oil-, etc- fired, of either standard or special design) mounted in a sauna room and selectively covers the top and sides of the tank and extends to the supporting surface of the tank. The jacket is selectively movable to a closed position completely enclosing the tank and to an open position exposing part of the top, sides and bottom of the tank and part of the area between the supporting surface and the bottom of the tank. A perforated housing is provided in the area between the supporting surface and the bottom of the tank. Sauna rocks and electric heating elements are provided in the perforated housing. An electric fan is mounted in the area for directing hot air from the housing upward around the tank.

Abstract: First and second platforms are affixed to the roof of a motor vehicle. The second platform is hingedly affixed to the first platform and extends from the roof to an area over the front bumper in extended position. Braces support the front edge of the second platform at a predetermined distance above the front bumper to maintain such platform horizontal. Trusses foldably affixed to the sides of the platforms extend perpendicularly therefrom in extended position. Tent material is releasably affixed to the trusses to provide a collapsible tent structure.

Abstract: A doorway type opening is formed through the outside wall of a building. A door device is hingedly affixed to the building at the lower edge of the opening and has a plurality of telescoping sections juxtaposed when the door device is closed and forming an extended planar incline when the door device is opened. Thus, the door device when open supports people leaving the building via the opening and functions as a slide to conduct them to the ground. A door control device affixed to the door device and the building lowers one end of the door device to the ground supporting the door device in its extended open condition from the lower edge of the opening to the ground and supports the door device in its closed condition as a door openable only from inside the building.

Abstract: A waterbed mattress, the interior of which is fitted with an air inflatable section in the form of cylindrical cup sections joined to the interior of the top and bottom liners of the mattress. The interior of the cup sections are open to the bottom with the cups joined together, to form a common air chamber, bounded by the bottom liner, with valves provided for independent filling of the water chamber and the air chamber.

Abstract: An ash tray of circular shape formed with a circular projecting flange bounding an annular recess, in which sand may be placed, with a central cup section in which a bracket is fitted. The bracket is shaped with radial spokes, each terminating in an open ring of a size to fit a cigarette tip, with the spokes joined to a central open ring of a size to fit about a cigar tip. The spokes serve to hold a pipe of a varying size in place, depending on the placement of the pipe. The bracket is mounted to the inner sides of the cup so as to be raised above the bottom wall of the cup, to permit placement of sand in the cup bottom.

Abstract: A leveling unit for parked vehicles -- such as house trailers or mobile homes or recreational vehicles -- which includes a horizontal stand having a manual vertically adjustable wheel support ramp with a wheel engaging surface and ground engaging means under the stand. A level or plumb line on the vehicle indicates which of its side needs leveling and the unit is placed under the tire on the low side by driving the wheel of the vehicle up the ramp.

Abstract: The armature shaft of a motor is coaxially freely rotatably mounted in a cylindrical motor frame which is coaxially freely rotatably mounted in a cylindrical full torque frame. An annular gear is coaxially mounted in the motor frame. A power output shaft is rotatably mounted in a partition in the full torque frame perpendicular to the axis of the armature shaft and spaced from and parallel to a base end of the full torque frame. The power output shaft is also rotatably mounted in the base end of the full torque frame and extends in spaced parallel relation with the armature shaft to the outside of the full torque frame. A first gear is coaxially affixed to, and rotatable with, the armature shaft. A second gear is coaxially affixed to, and rotatable with, the power output shaft and is coupled to the first gear.

Abstract: A radio antenna is affixed to a rotary mounting device on an arm extending from a bracket member. The bracket member is affixed to an automotive vehicle via a spring biased stud whereby the bracket member is movable to position the antenna in a storage position in which it is out of sight of people out of the vehicle.

Abstract: A scissors, the blades of which are held together by spring bias of a bolted assembly. The bolted assembly is in the form of a screw, a pair of split ring washers and a nut. The screw head is pinned to one blade through the screw head and the nut is fitted with a radial nylon plug so to adjustably fasten in frictional engagement to the screw.

Abstract: An aluminum strap is passed through a slot formed through a wedge shaped cushion and extends along the sides of the cushion. A pair of handles are affixed to the ends of the aluminum strap at the juncture of the sides of the cushion with the top thereof. A cloth strap extends between the handles of the aluminum strap along the surface of the top of the cushion. An anchor rope anchors the aluminum strap in the area of the junction of the bottom and back of the cushion to a point behind the seat.

Abstract: An electrical tester adaptable for indicating the electrical condition of a conventional female electrical outlet or for indicating the electrical energization of two remote contact locations. The tester is in the form of a housing enclosing a test lamp, with a pair of male electrical prongs each connected to a different terminal of the lamp, and with the prongs fixed to a slidable block so as to be retractable into the housing when not in use. A metal test rod is slidably mounted in the housing so as to project beyond the housing in a test position, and a flexible test lead is fitted in a recess in the housing closed by a slidable door. The test rod and the test lead are each connected to a different lamp terminal.

Abstract: A windshield formed of a continuous sheet of flexible plastic mounted about a pair of rollers, each rotatably fixed in an opposed side pillar of the windshield frame. A roller is linked to a motor for rotating the windshield about both rollers, with a fixed wiper blade mounted to the exterior of the windshield for continuously wiping the windshield in motion. The edges of the windshield are guided by sealing gaskets mounted in the top and bottom of the windshield frame.
