Abstract: A brain activity estimation device includes a brain activity estimation portion. The brain activity estimation portion includes a blood-circulation-amount calculating unit and an estimation unit. The blood-circulation-amount calculating unit is configured to calculate time-series blood-circulation-amount data on a facial surface of a human based on RGB data of photographed image data on the facial surface acquired in time series. The RGB data is obtained by conducting RGB processing on the photographed image data. The RGB processing includes decomposing the photographed image data into three color components composed of an R component, a G component and a B component. The estimation unit is configured to estimate brain activity of the human based on a plurality of decomposition components obtained by decomposing the blood-circulation-amount data by singular value decomposition, principal component analysis, or independent component analysis.

  • Publication number: 20210389114
Abstract: An atomic beam is irradiated with a first laser beam, a second laser beam, and a third laser beam. The first laser beam and the third laser beam each have a wavelength corresponding to a transition between a ground state and a first excited state. The second laser beam has a wavelength corresponding to a transition between the ground state and a second excited state. First, atoms each having a smaller velocity component than a predetermined velocity in a direction orthogonal to the traveling direction of the atomic beam are changed from the ground state to the first excited state by the first laser beam. Subsequently, a momentum is provided for individual atoms in the ground state by the second laser beam, which removes the atoms from the atomic beam. Finally, atoms in the first excited state are returned from the first excited state to the ground state by the third laser beam.

  • Publication number: 20210374990
Abstract: An image processing system, which estimates a position and a pose of a camera and performs three-dimensional reconstruction processing of an object having a cylindrical shape by using a photographed image acquired by photographing an inside of the object with the camera, includes a processor. The processor estimates a first center axis of the cylindrical shape by using a group of three-dimensional points obtained by reconstructing, in a three-dimensional space, a group of feature points extracted from the photographed image. In addition, the processor performs bundle adjustment for correcting the position and the pose of the camera and the coordinates of the group of three-dimensional points by using a condition for minimizing a total sum of differences between a radius of the cylindrical shape and respective distances from the first center axis to individual three-dimensional points that constitute the group of three-dimensional points.
