Patents Assigned to Toshiba Elevator Kabushiki Kaisha
  • Patent number: 7929268
Abstract: An exciting voltage arithmetic portion calculates an exciting voltage of an electromagnet using a signal of a gap sensor. On the other hand, a sensorless exciting voltage arithmetic portion calculates an exciting voltage of the electromagnet using a signal of the current sensor. The exciting voltage adjusting portion adjusts a mixing ratio between an output value of an exciting voltage arithmetic portion and an output value of the sensorless exciting voltage arithmetic portion corresponding to a gap length. The excitation of the electromagnet is controlled according to an output value of the exciting voltage adjusting portion so as to reduce influences of noises on the gap sensors thereby always achieving a stable levitation control.

  • Patent number: 7921970
Abstract: A sealing device for an elevator door includes a doorway member, doors, a movable member, a push-down mechanism and a sealing mechanism. The doorway member is provided for a gate. The doors open or close along the doorway member. The movable member is set horizontally and provided to be movable in a vertical direction in the doorway member, and it is urged upwards by an urging unit. The push-down mechanism pushes down the movable member against the force of the urging unit just before the doors are closed. The sealing mechanism is kept non-contact with the doors while they are moving, and seals the gap between the doors and the doorway member as it is brought into contact with upper section of the doors when the movable member is pushed down by the push-down mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7924128
Abstract: A magnet unit includes a first magnetic pole (7a), a second magnetic pole (7b) and a third magnetic pole (7c) at a center between the first magnetic pole (7a) and the second magnetic pole (7b), providing an E-shaped configuration. In the magnet unit, a first magnet is defined between the first magnetic pole (7a) and the third magnetic pole (7c) by connecting two electromagnets (71aa, 73aa) with each other through a permanent magnet (72a), while a second magnet is defined between the second magnetic pole (7b) and the third magnetic pole (7c) by connecting two electromagnets (71ba, 73ba) with each other through a permanent magnet (72b). With this configuration, it is possible to reduce a deviation in the length of respective magnetic paths from the permanent magnets (72a, 72b) up to their respective magnetic poles. By controlling exciting currents to the respective magnetic poles.

  • Patent number: 7775339
Abstract: In a passenger conveyor according to the present invention, an inlet safety device, an operation device, an operation condition display device, and a passenger detecting device are all received in a end-deck cover at an end of a balustrade panel. Thus, the passenger conveyor is excellent in design because of a simple appearance of a platform and a vicinity thereof. Since an inclined surface of the end-deck cover on which a display part of the operation condition display device is disposed is inclined to face an upper side of a center part of the platform, an observability by a passenger of the display part of the operation condition display device can be exceedingly enhanced.

  • Patent number: 7568571
Abstract: In order to suppress speed irregularity of step rollers (5) in a passenger conveyor, a bent section (17) is formed in a step guide rail (3) and a restraining member (18) is provided upstream thereof, the shape of the height of the bent section (17) and the restraining member (18) is corrected beforehand by the amount of the compression of resilient members of the step rollers (5), which are formed with such resilient members around their shafts, by the compressive force acting between the bent section (17) and restraining member (18). Thus generation of speed irregularity of the steps (4) is suppressed and passenger comfort is improved. Also, by providing a recess (3aa) in the step guide rail (3), gripping of the step rollers (5) as they execute rolling movement along the undersurface of the restraining member (18) from below can be avoided, thereby preventing damage to the step rollers (5), restraining member (18) and step guide rail (3).

  • Patent number: 7562745
Abstract: An elevator in which a driving apparatus, a traction sheave, and a counterweight-side rope hitching portion are arranged above one rail of the right and left cage-side guide rails, while a cage-side rope hitching portion and a speed governor are arranged above the other rail of the right and left cage-side guide rails. Since a control panel is arranged along a rear inner wall surface of the machine room, a large operation space can be secured in a center part of the floor of the machine room. Further, since a machine beam can be extended at full length in the back and forth direction in the machine room, no additional building-side receiving beam is needed.

  • Publication number: 20080277207
Abstract: A machineroom-less elevator in which a counterweight is vertically moved behind a cage, with the cage and the counterweight being suspended in a jig back manner through a first and second diverting sheaves. In this machineroom-less elevator, a sufficiently large vertical stroke of the counterweight can be secured, while a durability of a hoist rope is improved. In addition, since no tensile difference is generated in respective parts of the hoist rope, vertical vibrations of the cage are prevented when the cage restarts a vertical movement. A traction sheave is disposed on one of right and left sidewalls of an elevator shaft. A first diverting sheave is disposed below and sufficiently apart from the traction sheave, and a second diverting sheave is disposed on a top of a rear wall of the elevator shaft.
