Abstract: The invention relates to a method for improving properties of protection against spalling of transmission lubricating compositions containing sulphur-containing and sulfur-phosphorous compounds comprising a step for adding into the initial transmission lubricating composition, compounds (c) reducing by at least 5% the active sulfur mass content, as measured by the ASTM D1662 standard, in the final composition.
Abstract: Processes for preparing reinforced polymeric material and the materials formed therefrom are discussed herein. The processes generally include providing a polymeric matrix, providing single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNT) or multiple-wall carbon nanotubes (MWNT), purifying by the nanotubes in a single step of dissolving a support and catalyst particles with an agent appropriate to the nature of the support to form a purified support, functionalising the purified support by reaction with an alkylamine to form a functionalized support, dispersing the nanotubes in the polymeric matrix by mixing in the molten state to form a mixture and optionally orienting the mixture by stretching.

Abstract: The present invention describes a reactor comprising two interconnected loops wherein the growing polymer flows continuously in circuit from the first loop to the second loop through a First pipe and back to the first loop through a second pipe. It also discloses process for polymerising olefins in two interconnected loop reactors.
Abstract: The present invention concerns a catalyst for the production of high density polyethylene, by homopolymerising ethylene or copolymerising ethylene and an alpha-olefinic comonomer comprising 3 to 10 carbon atoms, prepared by the steps of: a) selecting a silica support with a specific surface area larger than 300 m2/g; b) treating the silica support with a titanium compound, in order to introduce titanium into the support, or with an aluminium compound, in order to introduce aluminum into the support; c) either treating the titanated silica support with an aluminum compound, in order to introduce aluminum into the titanated silica support, or treating the aluminated silica support with a titanium compound, in order to introduce titanium into the aluminated silica support; d) depositing a chromium compound on the titanated and aluminated silica support to form a catalyst; e) activating the catalyst of step d) under air in a fluidised bed at a temperature of from 600 to 800° C.

Abstract: A fluid dispenser device comprising: a body (10); at least one individual reservoir (21); movable support means (50) that receive at least one reservoir (21), and that are displaceable between a non-dispensing position and a dispensing position; reservoir-opening means (80) for opening a reservoir when said opening means are actuated; loading means (800) for urging said movable support means towards said dispensing position; blocking means (100) for retaining said movable support means in the non-dispensing position; and inhalation trigger means (60); said blocking means (100) comprising a blocking element (110) that is movable between a blocking position and an unblocking position, said blocking element (110) co-operating with a projection (501) that is secured to movable support means (50).
Abstract: The present invention relates to new tridentate ligand compounds with imino furan units, to a method for manufacturing said compounds and to their use in the preparation of catalysts for the homopolymerisation or copolymerisation of ethylene and alpha-olefins.
Abstract: The invention discloses a metallocene catalysed slurry polymerisation process of ethylene in the presence of a low concentration of scavenger. This allows improving the anti-sheeting of the reactor during the polymerisation process.

Abstract: The present invention discloses the use of aromatic diamine ligands to prepare catalyst systems suitable for the oligomerization or polymerization of ethylene and alpha-olefins.
Abstract: Disclosed are a method for producing a dialkoxymagnesium support for catalyst for olefin polymerization, a method of producing catalyst for olefin polymerization using the dialkoxymagnesium support and a method of polymerizing olefin using the catalyst. By using the method for producing a support according to the present invention, the content of large particles in the dialkoxymagnesium support can be controlled and the particle can have spherical shape, so the catalyst produced by using the support have high activity and stereoregularity, and high bulk density, thereby making it possible to be applied to the commercial processes.
