Abstract: A refrigerator interior liner can be made of a composition including a monovinylaromatic polymer matrix having an average molecular weight in weight Mw above 150,000 g/mol; rubber particles; and low- Mw plasticizers. The rubber particles can have an RPS volume of about 8.5 ?m, a monomodal distribution, a swell index above 13.8, and an RPVF of at least 39%. The composition can be prepared by forming a polymerizable mixture including a monovinylaromatic monomer, and dissolving a viscous rubber in the polymerizable mixture. A free radical initiator and a chain transfer agent can be contacted with the polymerizable mixture at conditions whereby phase inversion subsequently occurs. The chain transfer agent can produce an increase of the rubber to PS phase viscosity ratio within the inversion reactor. Polymerization can be continued until a monovinylaromatic polymer matrix having rubber particles dispersed therein is obtained.

The speed of the pump and the physical units are within a predetermined range of values. some embodiments include a hydrocarbons production method in such an installation. Some embodiments make it possible to ensure a minimum consumption of lightening fluid, while ensuring good operation of the pump and good productivity of the well.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for extending a network of existing fractures in a subterranean formation. This method comprises pumping a first fluid into a pressurized volume to pressurize a compressible fluid in said pressurized volume to a predetermined pressure and releasing a second fluid out of the pressurized volume in a confined volume connected to the existing fractures, the second fluid being released due to a relaxation of the pressurized compressible fluid in the pressurized volume. Moreover, the release of second fluid exerts pressures in the existing fractures exceeding a fracturing threshold of the subterranean formation.

Abstract: The method for generic-point parallel elliptic curve scalar multiplication replaces the pre-computation overhead of conventional elliptic curve scalar multiplication by post-computations that can be parallelized. This greatly increases the speed and efficiency of scalar multiplication performed in elliptic curve cryptography. According to the method, when scalar multiplication is required, the scalar integer is partitioned into a plurality of partitions, and calculations in each partition are performed simultaneously or in parallel on separate processors using conventional binary protocols. The bit size of each partition is adjusted to balance the load between the processors, i.e., so that each processor performs substantially the same number of point operations. The resulting calculations from each partition are accumulated or summed to produce the point that is the product of the scalar multiplication.

Abstract: A method for treating and disposal of fluid fine tailings utilizes two stages of thickening prior to disposal of the thickened tailings. The fluid fine tailings are adjusted to a sand-to-fines ratio of 0.5 to 1.3 using hydrocyclones or centrifuges in required. In a first stage of thickening a first flocculant is added to the fluid fine tailings which are fed to one or more conventional thickeners to produce a pumpable thickened tailings underflow having a solids content of between about 20 wt % to 40 wt %. The pumpable thickened tailings underflow is centrifugally pumped through a pipeline towards a disposal area. Adjacent the disposal area a second flocculant is added to the pumpable tailings underflow in a second stage of thickening to flocculate the tailings sufficient to produce a secondary thickened tailings underflow which when deposited has a solids content of about 50 wt % or higher at least one day after disposal.
