Abstract: An approach for facilitating secured use of short-range wireless tokens is disclosed. In some implementations, a short-range wireless token may be wirelessly powered based on the short-range wireless token being within a powering range of an electromagnetic field of a user device. The short-range wireless token may be configured to generate output signals while being powered. The output signals of the short-range wireless token may be disabled while the short-range wireless token continues to be powered by the electromagnetic field based on a predetermined condition determined by the short-range wireless token. The output signals of the short-range wireless token may be re-enabled based on a discontinuing of the powering of the short-range wireless token by the electromagnetic field and then a resuming of the powering of the short-range wireless token by the electromagnetic field.

In some embodiments, a request to establish a session between the user device and a network service may be provided to the network service. One or more session keys associated with the session and associated with a container at the user device may be obtained from the network service responsive to the session request. Storage, access, or a combination thereof of data at the user device may be effectuated, via the container at the user device, based on the session keys.

Abstract: Described are computer-based methods and apparatuses, including computer program products, for a platform verification portal. A plurality of configuration items are stored with each comprising a plurality of verification commands capable of being executed by a verification scanning engine executing a verification scan on a target server to compare a set of actual software or configuration settings of the software against a desired software stack. A plurality of configuration item rules is stored. Execution of one or more verification scanning engines across a selected set of target servers is remotely initiated. A request for configuration items is received from each of the target servers. For each of the target servers a set of configuration items applicable to the target server is dynamically selected. For each of the target servers, a list identifying the set of configuration items is transmitted to the target server for execution by the verification scanning engine.

A workstation computer is provided that includes a memory for storing computer executable instructions and a processor for accessing the memory and for executing the computer executable instructions. The computer executable instructions includes an email client configured to process email messages, at least one email message having an executable decryption attachment that includes encrypted embedded content that can only be decrypted with a unique cryptography key. The executable decryption attachment, when executed, is configured to establish a secure connection with an encryption server, receive the unique cryptography key from the encryption server and decrypt the embedded content.

A time span can be determined for which the underlying data are to be taken into consideration. For each result data set, the probability that the data underlying the calculation of the respective result data set are changed between the calculation of the result data set and the end of the period can be detected. Result data sets within the time span can be calculated. Those result data sets of which the data underlying the calculation have a minor probability of being changed can be calculated prior to those result data sets of which the data underlying the calculation have a higher probability of being changed. The data sets can be stored.

The data sets which define the generic basic functions, together with their distribution rules for access by a product template configurator, are contained in a basic function list. The product template configurator combines one or several basic functions and transfers these to a product template, in that the generic basic functions are mutated into specific basic functions for the product template concerned by transferring or restricting the values.

Abstract: Systems and methods can automatically generate and process signature files for an electronic signature list. Data records can be periodically searched for signature-relevant status changes. A multiplicity of documents in paper form can be provided. Each document can contain a predefined blank region for receiving a personal signature and also control information items assigned to the signature. The multiplicity of documents that have received the personal signatures can be scanned-in in a batch processing operation. At least one signature containing the personal signature in electronically processable form and a representation of the assigned control information items file can be generated for each document. The assigned control information items of each document can be independent of their corresponding personal signature in its electronically processable form. The signature files can be dispatched via a communications network controlled by the control information items.
