This power amp can include a first transistor configured in the common source (CS) amplification mode, wherein the gate terminal of the first transistor is used as the input port of the power amp; and a second transistor configured in the common gate (CG) amplification mode, wherein the drain terminal of the second transistor is used as the output port of the power amp. The power amp also includes a first inductive component coupled between the drain terminal of the first transistor and the ground to increase the impedance between the drain terminal of the first transistor and the ground, thereby increasing an output power at the output port. The power amp additionally includes a second inductive component coupled between the drain terminal of the first transistor and the source terminal of the second transistor to increase the conductance in the output admittance at the output port, thereby further increasing the output power at the output port.

Abstract: Disclosed are a device and a method for microelectrodeposition through a laser assisted flexible following tool electrode. Localization of electrodeposition and dimensional precision of members are enhanced by using the flexible following tool electrode to restrict a dispersion region of an electric field and a reaction region of electrodeposition, and a complex-shaped member can be deposited by controlling a motion path of the flexible following tool electrode. Since a laser has a high power density, introducing laser irradiation changes an electrode state in a radiated region, accelerates ion diffusion and electron transfer speeds, and increases a deposition rate, thus reducing defects such as pitting and cracking in a deposit, enhancing deposition quality, and achieving fabrication of a micro-part by a synergistic action of both electrochemical energy and laser energy.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide for deep learning-based architectures and design methodologies for an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) receiver under the constraint of one-bit complex quantization. Single bit quantization greatly reduces complexity and power consumption in the receivers, but makes accurate channel estimation and data detection difficult. This is particularly true for OFDM waveforms, which have high peak-to average (signal power) ratio in the time domain and fragile subcarrier orthogonality in the frequency domain. The severe distortion for one-bit quantization typically results in an error floor even at moderately low signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) such as 5 dB. For channel estimation (using pilots), various embodiments use novel generative supervised deep neural networks (DNNs) that can be trained with a reasonable number of pilots. After channel estimation, a neural network-based receiver specifically, an autoencoder jointly learns a precoder and decoder for data symbol detection.

Abstract: Aspects of the present application relate to techniques of diagnosing whether a pathogen (e.g., SARS-CoV-2) is present in a subject using infrared (IR) spectroscopy and machine learning techniques. The techniques use spectral data obtained from performing IR spectroscopy on a biological sample (e.g., saliva or nasal sample, or genetic material extracted therefrom) to generate a set of feature values. The feature values are provided as input to a machine learning model to obtain output indicating whether the pathogen is present in the biological sample. The output of the machine learning model may be used to determine a diagnosis result for a subject.
