Abstract: Systems and methods for diagnosing prostate cancer. Image sets (e.g., MRI collected at one or more b-values) and biological values (e.g., prostate specific antigen (PSA)) have features extracted and integrated to produce a diagnosis of prostate cancer. The image sets are analyzed primarily in three steps: (1) segmentation, (2) feature extraction, smoothing, and normalization, and (3) classification. The biological values are analyzed primarily in two steps: (1) feature extraction and (2) classification. Each analysis results in diagnostic probabilities, which are then combined to pass through an additional classification stage. The end result is a more accurate diagnosis of prostate cancer.

Abstract: The present invention provides a PEG-ACS/M-siRNA nanocomposite application, and method for reducing the histamine content during fishmeal storage thereof. A small interfering ribonucleic acid (siRNA) is designed and prepared according to a histidine decarboxylase gene of Morganella morganii (Morganella morganii subsp. morganii KT), and the histidine decarboxylase gene has a sequence of SEQ ID No: 1. A PEG-ACS/M-siRNA nanocomposite is prepared by using a PEGylated arginine-modified chitosan as a carrier. A PEG-ACS/M-siRNA nanocomposite is added to fishmeal in a certain ratio. The method for reducing the histamine content during fishmeal storage has a significant inhibitory effect on the histamine content during fishmeal storage, and can reduce the histamine content in fishmeal by 49%-53%, which has great significance for the control of biogenic amines in fishmeal in the feed industry.

After receiving the signal, the receiving device groups the signals according to the pre-agreed key, and calculates the power of each packet; determines a test statistic according to the power of each packet, and determines the test statistic whether the quantity is greater than or equal to a preset statistic threshold. If so, it determines that the signal is a tag signal, and if not, that it is a regular signal.

Abstract: A method for establishing a computer-aided data interpretation model for immune diseases by immunomarkers and visualization is revealed. First combine a plurality of immunomarkers into an immunomarker panel. Then collect test data of a plurality of subjects measured by the immunomarker panel, and disease diagnosis information of the subjects for establishment of an immunomarker-panel testing database. Next new subjects are tested by the immunomarker panel. The data obtained and the corresponding information in the immunomarker-panel testing database are processed by unsupervised machine learning algorithm to get a computer-aided data interpretation model showing comparison of case distribution patterns. The method provides real-time analysis of multiple data to medical professionals for their reference. Thereby the correctness, the timeliness and the reproducibility of the interpretation result for the diagnosis and treatment of immune diseases are all improved.

Abstract: A method for intracellular delivery of single proteins or other cargo molecules by encapsulation within nanocapsules formed by interfacial polymerization of one or more types of monomers and selected protease cleavable cross-linkers is provided. The thin positively charged capsules are readily brought into the cytosol of target cells by endocytosis. The capsules are degraded by the action of endogenous proteases or co-delivered proteases on the cross-linkers releasing the functional cargo unaltered. The cross-linkers can be adapted to be cleavable by specific enzymes selected from available intracellular enzymes within the target cell or co-delivered or self-cleaving when the cargo itself is a protease. The nanocapsules produced by the methods have been shown to have long-term stability, high cell penetration capability, low toxicity and efficient protease-modulated specific degradability without affecting cargo protein function.
