  • Patent number: 10496423
Abstract: The invention discloses a method for opening up data and functions of device applications based on reconstruction technology. The method modifies the runtime environment of the application to obtain control flow information when the application function and data are used, to reconstruct the original control flow. This method conducts program analysis of run-time control flow and application static code, removes application function and data that are unrelated to sub-control flows, and retains a set of sub-control flows and contexts directly related to application functions and data. In certain context environment, the sub-set of the control flows are reconstructed to achieve respective application functions and to acquire the application data. The disclosed method can be used to open functions and data of applications based on Java, C++, and JavaScript, etc. on different types of devices.

  • Patent number: 10493094
Abstract: A hemostatic putty for treatment of a variety of wounds topographies, including but not limited to highly three dimensional wounds, for example gunshot wounds and impalements, is disclosed. The putty is comprised of a matrix polymer weakly crosslinked or not crosslinked such that a viscoelastic matrix is formed. The viscoelastic nature of the putty is tunable by the composition and enables the putty to conform to a variety of wound topographies. Likewise, a hemostatic polymer, for example chitosan or hydrophobically modified chitosan, is included in this matrix to impart hemostatic properties and tissue adhesive on the putty. The hemostatic polymers disclosed prevent microbial infection and are suitable for oxygen transfer required during normal wound metabolism.

  • Patent number: 10497396
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for improving the recording of classroom lectures or other such presentations. A video frame containing a whiteboard image is converted into a black and white image for the detection of boundaries. These boundaries are classified as horizontal or vertical lines. Quadrangles are then formed using spatial arrangements of these lines. The quadrangles that are most likely to spatially coincide with the boundaries of the whiteboard image are identified. The quadrangles are then sorted (ranked) based on specific characteristics, such as size and position. The area corresponding to the identified quadrangle in the video frame is then cropped. Furthermore, the speaker in the video frame can be removed based on detecting changes that are characteristic of movements of a speaker. In this manner, the visual and educational experience involved in the recording of classroom lectures or other such presentation is improved.
