Abstract: A system and method for transferring agricultural material from a transferring vehicle to a storage portion of a receiving vehicle, and detecting and filling void areas of the agricultural material is disclosed. A transferring vehicle having a spout transfers agricultural material to a storage portion of a receiving vehicle. An imaging device associated with the transferring vehicle and facing towards the storage portion of the receiving vehicle collects imaging data. An image processing module is operable to, based on the imaging data, estimate fill levels of agricultural material within the storage portion; identify an area of the storage portion as targeted to fill; and identify a first void within the targeted area. A controller in communication with the image processing module is configured to command the spout to a position to direct agricultural material to the first void.

Abstract: A method of adapting a security configuration of a data processing application at runtime, and a system, together with its computing architecture, are disclosed. The system stores a causal network comprising a plurality of nodes and a plurality of incoming and outgoing causal links associated therewith, wherein each node of the causal network is associated with a security concern or a requirement that can be affected by any configuration of the security controls. The current value of assets nodes, as well as those of the security concerns that can be affected by monitored contextual factors, are updated. The control nodes corresponding to the security controls is updated according to the security configuration whose utility is evaluated by the causal network. The node corresponding to the at least one variable is updated with the determined current value, which is propagated through the causal network through the causal links associated with the updated node.

Abstract: The present invention discloses methods for polymerizing non-immunogenic haptens into immunogens, which then can be used to stimulate anti-hapten antibody production in animals. Specifically, haptens with amine and/or carboxylic groups are polymerized into macromolecules by using cross-linking reagents, and the derived haptenic polymers are used to immunize animals for the production of anti-hapten antibodies.

Abstract: A microscope and methods for obtaining a phase image of a substantially transparent specimen. Light collected from a specimen illuminated by a temporally incoherent source is diffracted into a first order and either the zeroth or first order is low-pass filtered in a Fourier transform plane before the orders are recombined at a focal plane detector. By low pass filtering the first order diffracted beam into a plurality of wavelengths, a spectrally- and spatially-resolved quantitative phase image of the specimen is obtained.

Abstract: Antibodies (Abs) play roles in protection against influenza. Neutralizing Abs either inhibit the binding of hemagglutinin (HA) to cellular receptors or prevent the conformational change of HA induced by low pH. The former Ab binds to the regions near the sialic acid-binding pocket on the globular head formed by HA1 and generally shows narrow strain specificity. The latter Ab binds to the stem region formed mainly by HA2 and shows broad strain specificity. We isolated a broadly neutralizing Ab against H3N2 viruses. X-ray analysis of the HA/Ab complex indicated that the Ab binds to the valley formed by two neighboring HA monomers at the side of the globular head. The Ab shows neutralizing activity by preventing the conformational change of HA induced at low pH.
