Abstract: A method of preparing a hybrid inorganic-organic metal organic framework compound in the form of 3TCC@MOF-177 solids, with high photoluminescence (PL) quantum yields (PLQY) by mixing a dye in the form of 1-cyano-2-[?-terthiophen-2-yl]-vinyl)carboxylic acid with a metal organic framework in the form of MOF-177 in an organic solvent (such as methanol, glycerol, DMF, ethanol) to form a solvent mixture and heating the solvent mixture to obtain the hybrid inorganic-organic Metal (MOF) compound. The PLQY of the hybrid inorganic-organic MOF compound prepared using the method is enhanced by more than 25% than any materials produced by conventional methods.

Abstract: A nuclear magnetic resonance coil array and a decoupling method thereof, and a nuclear magnetic resonance detection device. The coil array includes: a coil resonant unit and a decoupling network unit, where the coil resonant unit includes multiple coil resonant circuits; the decoupling network unit includes multiple decoupling circuits; where a coil resonant circuit includes a coil and a resonant capacitor; the resonant capacitor in each coil resonant circuit is connected in parallel with the coil; the coils in each coil resonance circuit are equally spaced on a circumference; a decoupling circuit is provided between a positive terminal and a negative terminal of adjacent coils, respectively; each coil is connected to an antenna switching circuit of a nuclear magnetic resonance detection device at the same time.
Abstract: There is provided a pipe thread protector according to a first aspect. The pipe thread protector includes a tubular body shaped to protect a threaded end portion of a pipe or a pipe coupling. The tubular body includes an inner portion with a first of right-handed and left-handed threading. The tubular body includes an outer portion with a second of right-handed and left-handed threading. The pipe thread protector includes an end member. The end member includes the second of right-handed and left-handed threading via which the end member threadably couples to the outer portion of the tubular body. The pipe thread protector includes a locking member with a first position in which removal of the end member from the tubular body is inhibited. The locking member is moveable from the first position thereof to a second position in which the end member is selectively removable from the tubular body.
Abstract: Disclosed herein, in certain embodiments, is a method of inhibiting or treating a cancer with use of a TNF expressing myxoma virus. Also disclosed herein are methods of inhibiting or treating a cancer with use of a mononuclear peripheral blood cells and/or a bone marrow cells treated with a TNF-expressing myxoma virus. Some aspects relate to engineered myxoma virus and pharmaceutical compositions for use with one or more of the methods described herein.

Abstract: A spray-capillary device is configured to process ultra-low-volume samples. The spray-capillary device includes a capillary tube that includes a lumen, an inner surface, an outer surface, an inlet end for receiving a fluid, and a discharge end having a porous section. A polymer material may be applied to the inner surface to form a polymer coating thereon. A downstream connector provides an interface between the porous section of the capillary tube, a conductive fluid, and a high voltage electrical source. The application of voltage to the downstream connector causes electrospray ionization, which can be used to draw ultra-low-volume samples into the inlet end. A gas injection assembly can be used to increase the pressure on the inlet end of the capillary tube to encourage movement of the sample therethrough. The spray-capillary device may be used to provide the ultra-low-volume samples to a mass spectrometer or other suitable analytic device.

Abstract: A tortoise electric slaughtering device includes an electric slaughtering box, an end of the box is disposed with an outlet, a bottom wall of another end thereof is disposed with a concave area, and a discharging plate is mounted at the outlet. Abstract: The present invention relates to a catheter that minimizes or eliminates the recirculation of oxygenated blood. The catheter of the present invention can be used to drain blood from multiple points in the patient, namely the superior vena cava, right atrium, and the right ventricle, while returning blood to the patient's pulmonary artery. Further, the catheter of the present invention is less likely to be moved or dislodged than catheters currently available in the art, thus making the catheter particularly useful for portable lung assist devices. The present invention also relates to methods for inserting the catheter into the patient and using the catheter with a lung assist device.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for ghost cytometry (GC), which may be used to produce an image of an object without using a spatially resolving detector. This may be used to perform image-free ultrafast fluorescence “imaging” cytometry, based on, for example, a single pixel detector. Spatial information obtained from the motion of cells relative to a patterned optical structure may be compressively converted into signals that arrive sequentially at a single pixel detector. Combinatorial use of the temporal waveform with the intensity distribution of the random or pseudo-random pattern may permit computational reconstruction of cell morphology. Machine learning methods may be applied directly to the compressed waveforms without image reconstruction to enable efficient image-free morphology-based cytometry.

Abstract: Provided are an ecological slope anti-corrosion timber pile and a treatment device and method therefor, belonging to the field of ecological engineering. The device includes a gasification furnace, and first, second and third carbonization chambers, each internally provided with a main gas pipeline, and multiple rows of radially distributed branch gas pipes are vertically disposed thereon and provided with electronic igniters. Multiple rows of radially distributed timber piles are vertically inside the carbonization chambers and between the branch gas pipes. The gasification furnace is connected to the main gas pipeline of the first carbonization chamber through a gas booster pump. The first carbonization chamber is connected to an air blower, the first and second carbonization chambers are connected through a joint pipe, the second and third carbonization chambers are connected through a pipeline, and the third carbonization chamber is connected to the gasification furnace through a gas delivery pipe.
Abstract: The present invention belongs to the field of energy and environmental protection and particularly relates to an organic solid waste treatment device based on chemical-looping hydrogen production and a method for using the same. The device comprises a pyrolysis reactor and a sleeve-type chemical-looping reactor, the sleeve-type chemical-looping reactor comprises an inner cavity, an outer cavity annularly wrapping the inner cavity, a syngas output device, a hydrogen output device, a pyrolysis gas inlet device, and a water vapor inlet device, and the pyrolysis reactor can generate pyrolysis gas, which then is conveyed to the sleeve-type chemical-looping reactor through the pyrolysis gas inlet device.

Abstract: The disclosure discloses a fusion albumin nanoparticle and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of biomedicine. In the disclosure, fusion albumin is expressed by using a genetic engineering technology, and the fusion albumin nanoparticle is formed by performing self-assembly and drug loading on the fusion albumin in a neutral aqueous solution. The fusion albumin studied in the disclosure has targetability, pH and enzyme-sensitive functional groups, the nanoparticle prepared by using the fusion albumin has the functions of targetability and controlled drug release, and a method for preparing the fusion albumin nanoparticle is simple and easy to implement and has great application potential.
