Abstract: An information technology (IT) network includes configuration items (CIs) that may constantly change, where the CIs describe hardware components or software components that are configured to operate on the IT network. Machine learning techniques can be employed determine whether a CI has been changed (e.g., added, updated, or removed) in the IT network. For example, a software code or a log message associated with a CI can be analyzed to determine whether the CI is a newly added or updated within the IT network.

Abstract: An image of a check may be presented for payment in a banking system in place of the physical paper check. The check to be deposited can be collected from a depositor using a scanner. A web site, accessed through a depositor's web browser, can be used to drive the process of collecting the check, but in some contexts (e.g., in less popular computing environments, such as those that do not run the most popular operating systems), it is economically infeasible to obtain the certificates that would be used to allow a program executing in the web browser to control the scanner. Thus, a depositor can be instructed to capture and upload images of the check in the form of files, where the image files are then presented for payment through a banking system.

Abstract: A method and system of delegating control to a surrogate for a primary account holder so that the surrogate can control access to funds in a joint account by a secondary account holder when the primary account holder is unavailable. The surrogate's ability to approve or deny the secondary account holder's requests for funds is limited by rules established by the primary account holder. The system includes a secure management account system that implements communications between the surrogate's personal device, the primary account holder's personal device, the secondary account holder's personal device and the financial institution holding the joint account.

Abstract: Cracks in foundations may be detected by sensing motion within the foundation. Depth sensors may be applied to a foundation, and the depths of the sensors may be read. At subsequent points in time the depths of the sensors may be read again. If the depths of the sensors are changing in a way that suggests that portions of the foundation are moving apart from each other, then it may be inferred that a crack is forming in the foundation. The formation of cracks may be used to take various actions. For example, the owner of the building that rests on the foundation may be information of the crack so that he or she may take remedial action.

Abstract: Various embodiments generally relate to generating and scheduling transactions in advance. More specifically, various embodiments relate to receiving a request for a transaction from a user device; processing the transaction, where the transaction requires some user interaction at a point of transaction to complete the transaction; identifying a location for completion of the transaction; determining possible points of transaction within a predetermined distance of the identified location; displaying the possible points of transaction; receiving a selection of one of the possible points of transaction; generating a unique identifier for the transaction based on the selected point of transaction; and sending the unique identifier for presentation at the selected point of transaction, where the unique identifier is used to complete the transaction.

Abstract: An advanced lens system includes an advanced lens configured to be worn by an individual. The advanced lens system includes a camera configured to obtain one or more images of a property. The advanced lens system includes one or more processors communicatively coupled to the advanced lens and the camera, the one or more processors being configured to receive the one or more images of the property and process the one or more images to identify primary damage to the property. The one or more processors are also configured to predict, based on the primary damage and previous damage data stored in a database, secondary damage that is likely to be present with the primary damage. The one or more processors are further configured to provide an output indicative of the secondary damage that is likely to be present with the primary damage via a display of the advanced lens.

Abstract: Implementations selectively message member account data to client applications to reduce server load. When a monitored load on cloud servers meets a criteria, a hold status may be triggered. During the hold status, member accounts may be monitored and client applications may be transmitted push messages, for example when a change is detected in a member's monitored account. The push messages can contain the detected changes, such as a posted transaction that triggered the message. Implementations of the client application can be configured to display local data (stored from the push messages) during the hold status in response to a member's request to access/view their account. Because server to client communication is limited to messages that contain member account changes, an overall server load can be reduced.

Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure are directed to authentication of calling parties. The authentication of calling parties applies to simultaneous voice and/or data communications with multiple parties over multiple electronic mediums including a variety of electronic devices. A user can continue to maintain a data exchange session with a representative of an entity offering the goods or services of interest to the user across more than one user device. In some embodiments, a user can invite other parties in a multi-party call involving the user and the representative. Various embodiments for multi-party and multi-device authentication mechanisms are described herein. In some embodiments, the system calculates an estimated call waiting time for a user to speak with the representative.

Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure are directed at gamification. In some embodiments, the present disclosure relates to methods and systems for tracking actions taken by a user at predetermined gaming levels in a gaming application, the gaming application also facilitating users to interact with the gaming application in the form of questions and answers. If the user is unable to provide a minimum number of correct responses to the questions presented, the gaming application displays actions that are to be performed by the user to continue playing the game. In some embodiments, a game is paused temporarily by a pause signal sent to the gaming application. The game resumes when a resume signal is sent to activate the gaming application.

In an example, a method may receive, in a financial institution system, a request to display a record associated with a financial transaction, determine a location of a merchant associated with the financial transaction using merchant information, request, from an online mapping service, a customizable map interface associated with the location of the merchant, receive the customizable map interface, and display the customizable map interface integrated into the record associated with the financial transaction.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods capable of establishing a communication session between a user and an analyst. The contents of the communication session are analyzed to make recommendations of goods and services to the user. Otherwise, the communication session may be redirected from one channel, for example, chatting to another channel, for example, voice call, to another analyst. The user's information and the communication session details are retained, and provided to another analyst before the user is redirected. Such systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products use real-time machine learning scoring algorithm to determine which analyst the users should be transferred to, and thereby saving a lot of time for both the analysts and the users, and significantly reduce misroutes by eliminating human errors.

Abstract: A system and method for using gaming as a tool to determine optimum routes through areas that have experienced a disaster are provided. Due to the disaster, an area may have some destroyed roads and other infrastructure. In one embodiment, input data collected from people on the ground, drones, and other aerial vehicles can be used to generate a virtual simulation of the area. The virtual area may include renderings of destroyed roads and infrastructure. Once created, the virtual area may be uploaded to an online gaming environment where users can participate in online games that permit them to find the best routes through the virtual area between starting and destination points. Once optimal routes are found, the system may send these routes to navigation systems used by rescuers and other people in the area to help them navigate the disaster area.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided herein to an agentless Information Technology (IT) asset management system that automatically identifies and executes remedial actions independent of a client-side agent installed on the client system. In particular, artificial intelligence is used to trigger agentless actions via one or more application programming interfaces (APIs). The APIs trigger services that interface directly with operating system supported functionalities to manage IT assets.

Abstract: A termite detection and mitigation system can gather data describing conditions at a location, including the location's elevation, soil type, topography, weather conditions, and season. The termite detection and mitigation system can additionally obtain sensor data describing environmental conditions within a structure (e.g., a home or other building) at the location. Sensor data may be obtained using a termite sensing device placed within the structure. The termite detection and mitigation system can develop models that characterize how likely it is that termites are present within a structure based on its sensor data and associated location data. Using the models, the termite detection and mitigation system can alert users when there is a likelihood that termites are present. The termite detection and mitigation system can also deploy mitigation responses, such as poisons or sealants, to mitigate the termite intrusion.

Abstract: Systems and methods for fault tolerant digital payments are disclosed. The system comprises a computing system that can automatically determine if payments should be processed using a digital payment processing system, or using a blockchain. When the system detects that communication with the digital payment processing system has been interrupted, the system may facilitate transactions through the blockchain. In particular, the system may receive private keys from mobile devices of customers, which can be used to make payments on the blockchain.

Abstract: Techniques are described for performing multi-factor authentication of a user during a service session, based at least partly on a code conveyed using an audio file. A code is generated that corresponds to the user and/or their user device. A playback device that is registered to the user can be used to output a playback of an audio file that encodes the code. The playback of the audio file is conveyed through the service session by the user device and received by a backend server, which analyzes the playback of the audio file to extract the code. The user can be authenticated based at least partly on verifying the code that is extracted from the playback of the audio file, by comparing the extracted code to the code that was generated and sent to the playback device.

Abstract: A system includes a server configured to store a plurality of imagery configured to be presented in an email template on an electronic device. The server is configured to receive a request to retrieve an imagery of the plurality of imagery for use in the email template. The system also includes a controller configured to perform operations that include monitoring information associated with the request, comparing monitored information associated with the request with expected information associated with the request, and determining unauthorized usage of the email template based on a mismatch between the monitored information and the expected information.

Abstract: A technique for selectively sending encryption keys is provided that encrypts user data generated as a result of a user interacting with a user device. The encrypted user data may be sent to one or more target devices associated with a third party. When the one or more target devices are authorized to receive an encryption key, the encryption key to decrypt the encrypted user data may also be sent to the one or more target devices.

Abstract: A method and system of providing users with a tool to interact with content from a primary app through a secondary app are disclosed. The secondary app obtains source data from the primary app and determines whether the data includes labels that can trigger the application of a particular configuration in the presentation of the content. Changes made to the source data in the secondary app that relate to substantive or key data for the content do not affect the source data in the primary app. However, changes made in the secondary app that relate to non-substantive data can be propagated back to the primary app.
