Abstract: The present embodiments relate to on demand generation of curated audio content. Responsive to initiation of an electronic communication by a client, audio relating to a client speaking to the operator can be processed to derive a series of insights relating to features of the audio. Previously recorded audio relating to the operator can be combined with a text-based script to generate audio content. The audio content can be modified using the series of derived insights. The modified audio content can include a series of disclaimers that are played back to the client. Generation of the modified audio content can be dynamically generated responsive to detecting a trigger that allows for on-demand generation of the modified audio content.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for making purchases at a merchant point-of-sale (POS) device using a mobile device. Transaction information may be communicated from the POS device to the mobile device and an authorization from the purchaser to proceed with the transaction returned to the POS device from the mobile device. After authorization, the POS device may communicate the transaction information together with an identifier of the mobile device to a financial institution to process payment. The financial institution may confirm the transaction with the purchaser at the mobile device using the identifier of the mobile device. Upon receiving a confirmation response from the mobile device, the financial institution may then transfer funds from a purchaser account to a merchant account.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein disclose methods and systems for community item distribution. In some implementations, the community item distribution system includes a platform for users to post information regarding items they want to share with the community. The community item distribution system can categorize the information and establish donation parameters for the shared items. The donation parameters can include where and when items can be donated or retrieved, what types of items can be donated, and who can request the donated items. In some cases, the community item distribution system can generate a user interface listing the available items that users can request. Upon request of an item, the community item distribution system can schedule a drone to transport the item, in a secured container with ultraviolet lights to disinfect the item, from the storage location to the delivery location.

Abstract: Various embodiments described herein relate to a call management system that aims to provide a more efficient, secure, and dynamic technique for authenticating a user based on a location of the user. A server of the call management system receives a phone call from a user device. The server transfers the phone call to an analyst device. When the analyst device accepts the phone call, the server starts an electronic communication session between the user device and the analyst device. The server then determines a current location of the user. The server further determines a question for authentication of the user based on the current location. The server transmits the question to the analyst device. The analyst device transmits the question to the user device via the server. In response to an answer received from the user device, the server authenticates the user.

Abstract: A system and method of providing real time account information for financial accounts is disclosed. The system includes an event based architecture including an event stream. Financial transaction processing systems publish transaction events to the event stream. A transaction service listening to the event stream detects new transaction events. The transaction service takes action to enrich transaction data. A middleware system reconciles existing transactions and persists transaction records in long term storage. The system can retrieve real time enriched transaction data to calculate account summary information, including current account balances and projected future account balances. The system can also be used to provide real time notifications to customers using enriched transaction data.

Abstract: Methods and systems described herein are directed to evaluating an individual's ecological impact to promote reductions for that impact. An ecological impact evaluator can automatically retrieve behavioral data of a user that the evaluator can assess for guiding the user with respect to one or more of product purchasing, water usage, recycling and composting procedures, and driving practices. In view of data collected, the evaluator can provide various recognitions for behavior that incentivize the user toward maintaining or improving current behaviors.

Abstract: An authentication system includes an authenticator that receives an authentication request from a device and receives sensor data from one or more sensors, the sensor data being indicative of interaction with one or more real world objects or with a displayed authentication image. The authenticator determines that the sensor data is indicative of an authorized interaction with the one or more real world objects or with the displayed authentication image and, in response to the determination, grants the authentication request.

Abstract: A method for guiding game play of a game in an augmented reality game space. The game runs on a smart device in conjunction with a game space. The method includes determining that a user has completed a game objective and earned the right to a game piece having a concealed value. Information including an indication that the user has completed the game objective is sent from a smart device to a game server. The game server receives information from the smart device and sends information including a location of the game piece having a concealed value to the smart device and to a confirmation device. The smart device displays a location of the game piece having a concealed value in the augmented reality game space. Also, a system for game play including the smart device, the game server, and the confirmation device.

Abstract: A remote signal-based method and system of performing an authentication of images of a person in order to permit access to a secured resource. The system and method are configured to cause a visual and/or haptic pattern response to occur in a secondary device while collecting image data from a different, primary device. The image data is evaluated to determine whether the appropriate pattern is present. If the pattern is present, the system determines the image is authentic and can verify an identity of the person, and can further be configured to automatically grant the person access to one or more services, features, or information for which he or she is authorized.

Abstract: A payment card may include a physical encoder integrated into a card body of the payment card. The physical encoder encodes data unique to the payment card and enables a point-of-sale system to read the data unique to the payment card to facilitate a transaction. The payment card may also include an electronic display integrated into the card body. The payment card may further include a card computing system integrated into the card body and having one or more processors that are configured to receive account information related to an account associated with the data unique to the payment card and to instruct the display to display the account information for visualization by a user of the payment card.

Abstract: A system configured to monitor a condition of a fluid conduit includes a leak detection sensor assembly having a first electrical conductor and a second electrical conductor positioned on the fluid conduit. The system also includes one or more additional sensor assemblies positioned on the fluid conduit. The system further includes a controller configured to determine a presence of a leak along the fluid conduit in response to a resistance of a leak detection electrical circuit formed by the first electrical conductor and the second electrical conductor indicating that the leak detection electrical circuit is closed and data from the one or more additional sensor assemblies indicating the presence of the leak along the fluid conduit.

Abstract: A system and method for performing machine learning in a mobile computing device which is configured to be coupled with a cloud computing system is disclosed. The method may include activating, on the mobile computing device, a machine learning application, which accesses a local machine learning system including a local machine learning model, periodically updating the local machine learning system based upon updates for the local machine learning system received from a global machine learning system hosted by the cloud computing system, performing machine learning based on received training data, and periodically transmitting changes to the local machine learning system from the mobile computing device to the global machine learning system hosted by the cloud computing system.

Abstract: An image of a check is captured by an imaging device and processing of the digital image of the check for deposit at a remote server may be accomplished with a downloaded software application on a portable computing device associated with the imaging device. The downloaded application may include one or more trained machine learning models for processing the captured image. The portable computing device may utilize deterministic algorithms for certain image processing tasks and machine learning models for others. The selection between machine learning and deterministic processing may be made locally on the portable device or in response to instructions from an institution server to use a particular processing method.

Abstract: A fire prevention system for a building. The fire protection system has an inlet duct having an interior end and an exterior end. An air handler is disposed at the interior end of the inlet duct to provide air from outside the building to the air handler. A flame arrester is located at the exterior end of the inlet duct to prevent burning embers from entering the inlet duct. The fire protection system also includes an interior duct system for distributing air from the air handler through the building. Distribution vents in the interior duct system allow flow of air from the interior duct system to the interior of the building to raise the pressure in the building above the outside pressure. Exhaust vents to allow flow of air out of the building. Also, a method for fire prevention for a building exposed to a fire.

Abstract: A remote audio signal-based method and system of performing an authentication of video of a person in order to authorize access to a secured resource. An audio security token with a first set of features is generated and stored for each user. During subsequent sessions, the system and method are configured to cause a remote computing device to play a specific audio signal while collecting audio data from a microphone of the same device. The audio data is evaluated to determine if the same features are present as in the first set of features. If the features are present, the system determines the image is authentic and can verify an identity of the person, and can further be configured to automatically grant the person access to one or more services, features, or information for which he or she is authorized.
