Abstract: System, methods, and apparatus for obtaining repair or replacement related information are described. For example, a mobile device is configured to scan RFID tags or other identifiers located on or in studs behind a wall of a house, obtain an identifier of at least one RFID tag of the plurality of RFID tags, determine a number of RFID tags scanned, generate and send, to a server, a message comprising the identifier of the at least one RFID tag, the number of RFID tags scanned, and an account identifier. The server can be configured to receive the message, determine a distance between two adjacent studs based on the identifier of the at least one RFID tag, determine a total distance of a scanned region of the wall based on the number of RFID tags scanned and the distance between the two adjacent studs, and determine an estimate of a cost of replace or repair based at least on the total distance.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure include receiving an aerial image that includes a view of property (e.g., real property, personal property, or other types of property), automatically identifying the property included in the aerial image, automatically determining one or more characteristics of the property based at least in part on the aerial image, and automatically adjusting an insurance policy term for an insurance policy relating to the property based at least in part on the one or more characteristics of the property. Certain embodiments include automatically determining the one or more characteristics of the property also based at least in part on data received from one or more smart home devices associated with the property, one or more public records relating to the property, a supplemental image accessed from a camera located in or around the property, and so forth.

Abstract: Systems and methods for responding to latency in connected vehicles. Vehicles operating on or near the edge of networks are identified. Vehicle dependent nodes are identified. Latency is calculated between the vehicle and the dependent nodes. The latency is compared to one or more threshold values and a response is determined and/or executed.

Abstract: A system includes a monitoring device coupled to a vehicle. The monitoring device includes a processor. The monitoring device also includes an output interface coupled to the processor that communicates information to a driver of the vehicle. The monitoring device further includes a communication interface coupled to the processor. The processor receives, via the communication interface, sensor information relating to operating the vehicle. The processor also receives, via the communication interface, a risk factor relating to operating the vehicle based at least in part on the sensor information. The processor further outputs, via the output interface, an adjustment to an insurance premium of the driver, an adjustment to an insurance deductible of the driver, or a payment amount of the driver, based at least in part on the risk factor.

Abstract: Techniques are described for real time monitoring and tagging of media content generated during a service session between an individual and a service representative (SR). Media content received during a service session may be dynamically tagged with one or more metadata tags during the service session, the tag(s) indicating portion(s) of the media content that potentially include sensitive information. Tagging may be based on a SR's gestures, clicks, keystrokes, mouse-overs, and/or other actions performed in a SR user interface (UI) during the service session. The media content may be redacted based on the tags to remove and/or obfuscate potentially sensitive information.

Abstract: Systems and methods ingest extensive data regarding real-time transactions to determine correlation between a variety of parameters and possible fraud events. Possible fraud can be predicted, and notifications delivered to a fraud team. Correlations can be discovered using unsupervised machine learning, and particular systems and methods can utilize natural language processing to both receive and provide information concerning fraud risk and countermeasures.

Abstract: A technique for selectively scrambling data obtained by electronic sensor devices, such as cameras, voice communication devices, and the like, is provided. A payload of the data is scrambled when one or more characteristics of the data indicate that the data may include sensitive information. The scrambled data is transmitted to a target device.

Abstract: Methods and systems described herein can provide a computing device configured to display on a display screen of the computing device a first window listing a set of entries and a second window that can add entries directly into the set of entries and that can search for entries having selected features. The second window can dynamically display one or more keywords related to an entry as the entry is being created. The keywords can be determined as the entry is created and can be associated with the entry as the entry is added to the set of entries. The second window can receive a search request with the keywords and in response, cause the entries associated with the keywords to be displayed in the first window.

Abstract: A safety deposit box facility that allows for 24/7 remote access by authorized personnel to their safety deposit boxes via an on-site robot. The facility includes safety deposit boxes that can be opened along one side by the robot, and on the other side by the authorized person. In some embodiments, the authorized person may request a remote access event in which they can view the contents of their safety deposit box via a camera associated with the robot, and/or request a secure delivery of one or more items disposed in their safety deposit box.

Abstract: A system and method for improving the security of financial transactions is disclosed. The system and method include an account management tool where customers (or account holders) can manage financial control settings, which include controls to set limits on the frequency of financial transactions and/or maximum transaction amounts. Based on these user-selected control settings, a financial account provider can deny transactions that exceed limits determined from the financial control settings. The system and method include a setting for geographic location, so that a user may build a customized list of geographic regions where transactions are allowed or prohibited. The system and method also include a setting for companies or merchants, so that a user may build a customized list of companies or merchants where transactions are allowed or prohibited.

Abstract: Data analysis, filter, and presentation techniques are described for an example call management system. An example method for a data management system includes receiving, from a user device, an account identifier of a first person, receiving, from the user device, a first message related to a topic of conversation to be discussed during a telephone call with the first person, determining, based on the account identifier and within a pre-determined time period, a presence of a set of data that describes conversation(s) from prior telephone call(s)/chat(s) with the first person, and sending, to a computer, at least some data from the set of data and a second message that indicates that the telephone call is mapped to a second person, where the computer is configured to display on a screen the second message and a presentation option that presents the at least some data via the computer.

Abstract: A system for receiving cash deposits at a point of sale includes a processor; a product inventory database; a communication interface; a product inventory item reader; and a purchase instrument reader. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to detecting the use of fake voice command to activate microphones of smart devices. In one embodiment, sound characteristics associated with an audio signal from a microphone of smart device may be compared with other microphones of the smart device in order to detect fake voice commands. In another embodiment, sound characteristics associated with the audio signal from the microphone may be compared with a threshold range of stored sound characteristics in order to detect fake voice commands. In some embodiments, a controller may triangulate a position associated with a source of a sound in order to detect a fake voice command. In a further embodiment, a controller may verify that a user or associated electronic device are near a smart device to authorize a voice command.

Abstract: Remote deposit of checks can be facilitated by a financial institution. A customer's general purpose computer and image capture device may be leveraged to capture an image of a check and deliver the image to financial institution electronics. Additional data for the transaction may be collected as necessary. The transaction can be automatically accomplished utilizing the images and data thus acquired.

The processing circuitry is also configured to provide an output to a first consumer in response to the first consumer attempting to complete a purchase of the good from the merchant while the merchant data indicates that the merchant is unable to fulfill the orders for the good within a timeframe. The output includes a notification on a graphical user interface for visualization by the first consumer, and the notification is configured to discourage the first consumer from purchasing the good from the merchant by recommending an alternative action to the first consumer.

Abstract: A vehicle monitoring system, includes a vehicle database, which includes information associated with a plurality of vehicles. The vehicle monitoring system also includes a sensor database, which includes information captured by a sensor of an observing vehicle, and one or more processors. The one or more processors may generate a request to determine information associated with a target vehicle and to transmit the request to the sensor in response to determining that the information captured by the sensor does not include the information associated with the target vehicle. The sensor captures the information associated with the target vehicle based at least in part on the request. The one or more processors may also receive and store the information associated with the target vehicle from the sensor. Further, the one or more processors may output the information associated with the target vehicle to a computing device.
