Abstract: A system for receiving cash deposits at a point of sale includes a processor; a product inventory database; a communication interface; a product inventory item reader; and a purchase instrument reader. The processor is configured to receive a product code from the product inventory item reader; access the product inventory database to recognize the product code as a deposit product code; receive signals indicating an amount of a deposit associated with the deposit product code; receive signals from the purchase instrument reader identifying an account for the deposit; and send signals to a transaction processing network via the communication interface to thereby effect the deposit of the amount into the account.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of systems, methods, and products comprises a server for enabling automatic shopping. The server may associate a shopping cart with a customer's electronic user device. The server may monitor the locations of the electronic user device. Based on the customer's location, the server may identify the shelves and items the customer has visited. When an item is lifted from the shelf, at least one weight sensor on the shelf may detect the weight change. The server may receive a notification comprising an amount of weight change from the weight sensor on the shelf. When the customer places the item into his/her shopping cart, the weight sensor on the shopping cart may detect the weight addition. If the weight change and weight addition match, the analytic server may determine that the item picked up from the shelf is placed within the customer's shopping cart.

Abstract: A go-bag is disclosed. The bag is designed to contain valuables and important documents, and protect these contents during an emergency evacuation situation. The bag can waterproof and float in water. The bag can also be made of a flame resistant material. The bag can include a self-orienting feature where the bag can float in water and automatically rotate to achieve the proper orientation so that the integrated solar panel is facing upwards towards the sun.

Abstract: Implementations of the present disclosure include determining that a private transaction is to be recorded in a distributed ledger system (DLS) based on a consensus protocol executed by a set of entities participating in the DLS, the private transaction including a transaction between a subset of entities of the set of entities, providing a set of noisy transactions based on a transaction model, and transmitting data representative of at least a portion of the private transaction, and data representative of each noisy transaction in the set of noisy transactions for recording in the DLS based on the consensus protocol.

Abstract: Technology for determining an insurance fraud risk associated with a user comprises receiving, at an enterprise, a call or a chat from a user device associated with the user. Data associated with the call or the chat is analyzed to determine if at least one factor indicating fraud is present. A weighted level of possible fraud associated with the at least one factor is determined. The weighted level of possible fraud is compared to at least one weight threshold. The user is identified as an increased fraud risk based on the weighted level of possible fraud meeting or exceeding the at least one weight threshold.

Abstract: A technique for selectively scrambling data obtained by electronic sensor devices, such as cameras, voice communication devices, and the like, is provided. A payload of the data is scrambled when one or more characteristics of the data indicate that the data may include sensitive information. The scrambled data is transmitted to a target device.

Abstract: A system includes a server having a database stored thereon, an operator device, and a coordinating device communicatively coupled with the server and with the operator device, wherein the coordinating device comprises a processor and a memory, and wherein the memory is configured to store instructions thereon that, when executed by the processor, cause the coordinating device to perform various steps. The steps include receiving account data, from the server, corresponding with an account of a plurality of accounts saved to the database, receiving preference data, from the operator device, corresponding with preferences of an operator of the operator device and relating to the account data. The steps also include generating an avatar reflecting the account data in accordance with the preference data, and displaying the avatar on a display.

Abstract: An augmented reality structural assessment system may include a display device, at least one sensor configured to generate image data from a structure, and a processor. The processor may receive the image data that represents one or more portions of the structure and receive motion data representative of a number of steps traversed by a user about the structure. The processor may generate a visualization of a scenario related to structural damage to the one or more portions of the structure of the image data. The visualization may be presented to a user via the display device, such that the visualization augments a view of the structure via the display device to include the one or more dimensions. The processor may then receive input data regarding one or more assessments of damage to the structure corresponding to the scenario, the image data, and the one or more dimensions, and store the data regarding one or more assessments of damage in a storage component.

Abstract: Authentication techniques are described to allow a person to be authenticated to interact with an organization, where a type of authentication can be determined based on an environment in which the person is located. For example, an authentication server can collect a status information related to a safety setting of a mobile device. The safety setting can be enabled, e.g., if a person is driving a vehicle. When enabled, the safety setting can prevent the person from performing one or more operations on the mobile device. Based on the collected status information, the authentication server can request the person to provide user information via the mobile device so that the authentication server can determine whether the person is authenticated to interact with an organization.

Abstract: A cooling system configured to remove heat from a chimney of a server cabinet. The chimney has an extending portion extending above the server rack including a chimney heat exchanger in the extending portion above the server rack. The chimney heat exchanger has a fluid inlet for receiving a working fluid and a fluid outlet for discharging the working fluid. The chimney heat exchanger also has an upstream surface receiving warm waste heat generated by one or more servers and a downstream surface that discharges cooled air cooled by the chimney heat exchanger. The server rack may be accessed through the chimney without requiring movement of the chimney heat exchanger.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a method for maintaining and analyzing a rolling history of performance data for a computer network is described. In one embodiment, one year's data is stored, sorted by object and date. New data is appended to the end of the file each day and an index by object is stored. Using this method, data for twelve full months can be provided in object order, and data for one partial month that was added daily in date order can also be provided.

Abstract: The systems, methods, and devices disclose a transducer system located in a room or in an area to provide an alert to one or more persons. The transducer system includes at least a receiver, a processor and a speaker. The receiver receives an alert message sent from an alarm system or from another transducer system. The processor is configured to determine, from a plurality of notification messages, a notification message based on the alert event indicated by the alert message. Each of the plurality of notification messages corresponds to a different alert event, and each of the plurality of notification messages includes information to vibrate a speaker according to a different pre-determined vibration pattern. The speaker is moveable to generate a vibration pattern according to the determined notification message to inform a person about the alert event, wherein the speaker generates the vibration pattern in a low-frequency range.

Abstract: A disaster detection system includes a device processor; and a non-transitory computer readable medium including instructions executable by the device processor to perform the following steps: receiving data from a plurality of geographically distributed personal electronic devices; determining, based on the data received from the personal electronic devices, that a disaster has occurred; and sending one or more commands pertaining to the disaster to one or more third parties. The one or more commands pertaining to the disaster may include one or more alerts to one or more organizations that provide support for disasters.

Abstract: An artificially intelligent loan recommendation agent and a method of making loan recommendations are disclosed. The artificially intelligent loan recommendation agent can classify applicants into traditional and non-traditional categories. Based on this categorization, the agent may use different information to make loan recommendations for the applicant. For non-traditional applicants, applicant rating information can be used, including ratings of an applicant’s professional skills obtained from consumer review sites. The agent can also conduct virtual interviews and analyze body language and speech to determine if an applicant may be lying.

Abstract: A system for measuring effectiveness of a customer service platform comprises a server configured to receive a first set of data related to an interaction between a first person and an automated communication channel, receive a second set of data related to a conversation between the first person and a second person on a call, determine, from the first set of data, a third set of word(s) that describe an intent of the first person to perform a task via the customer service platform, determine, from the second set of data, a fourth set of word(s) that describes an outcome accomplished during the call, calculate a value that describes a similarity between the third set of word(s) and the fourth set of word(s), and determine an effectiveness measure of the customer service platform based at least in part on a comparison of the value with a pre-determined threshold.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods that may generate so-called “honey credentials” that are transmitted to a “phishing” website, and are then stored into a honey credential database. The honey credentials appear to be valid credentials, but whenever a bad actor attempts to access an enterprise using the honey credentials, security appliances the enterprise may update the records of the honey credential database to include one or more unique identifiers for each bad actor device that attempts to access the enterprise network using the honey credentials. A server may automatically query the honey credential database to identify other accounts that have been accessed by devices that used the honey credentials to access the enterprise. The server may then flag the accounts and restrict their functionality.

Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure are directed at delivery of educational concepts for increasing the financial literacy of youths. In some embodiments, a mobile application program is disclosed that facilitates management of tasks assigned to youths, setting up a rewards program for participants that complete tasks successfully on time, integrating different types of data from various devices to determine whether an assigned task is successfully completed. In some embodiments, the disclosed platform can integrate with electronic payment systems managed by external third parties for rewarding youths on successfully completing the task.

Abstract: Techniques for cooperative document generation include methods, one of the methods includes receiving, from a mobile device, a request to start an insurance claim, the mobile device including an application configured to guide the user through the claim process. The method includes establishing a session between a computer and the mobile device. The method includes displaying images of the user interface of the mobile device. The method includes receiving information concerning the insurance claim from the mobile device, the information provided by the user in response to prompts provided on the mobile device. The method includes displaying the information on the computer. The method includes enabling the customer service representative to alter the information or request additional information be provided. The method includes adding the information to a data record regarding the insurance claim in response to an indication that the customer service representative has verified the information.

Abstract: A call processing system and method for processing calls from high volume callers. A frequency of call activity is monitored for callers to determine reception of a call from a high frequency caller. When a call is received from such a caller, provided is information predicted to be requested from the caller prior to the caller being voice connected to a company representative. The retrieved information is then provided to a company representative prior to the caller being voice connected with a company representative as to expedite the call. Additionally, a customized message for the high frequency caller may be generated prior to the caller being voice connected with a company representative whereby the customized message contains information predicted to be responsive to a predicted inquiry from the determined high frequency caller to mitigate the need to connect the caller to a company representative.
