Abstract: The disclosure describes a scalable, risk-based authentication system including a plurality of fraud monitoring engines configured to: analyze user data and organization data, and generate a set of risk factors based on the user data and the enterprise data; a risk aggregator in communication with the plurality of fraud monitoring engines configured to: receive the set of risk factors, and transform the set of risk factors into risk indicators; and an authentication engine configured to: receive the risk indicators from the risk aggregator, and generate an authentication plan for a requested activity based on the risk indicators and the requested activity.

Abstract: A method includes receiving, at one or more processors, data indicative of a customer communication, inputting, via the one or more processors, the data to a first communication routing model corresponding to a first product or service goal associated with one or more product or service types, and determining, via the one or more processors and based on the first communication routing model, a first score corresponding to a first likelihood that the customer communication will satisfy the first product or service goal.

Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure electronically notarize a document. The system can receive biometric information from a user, extract characteristics from the biometric information, and compare the characteristics of the biometric information with previously stored characteristics of the user's biometric information. When the characteristics of the biometric information match the previously stored characteristics to a threshold, the system can create an identity of the user using the characteristics of the biometric information. The system can send a document to the user for cryptographic signature and receive an indication that the document has been signed. The cryptographic signature can be generated with a digest of the document, the identity, and a cryptographic key associated with the user. The system can inspect the digest of the document, the cryptographic key, and the identity associated with the document to verify authenticity of the document and the identity of the user.

Abstract: A customer management system can be designed to provide an integrated smart graphical user interface. For example, a computing device can receive information that includes a topic of conversation for a chat-based communication; initiate, via a first graphical user interface (GUI), the chat-based communication with another computing device after the information is received, display, via a second GUI, the user profile associated with the person, wherein the second GUI is displayed adjacent to and integrated with the first GUI; determine a relationship between one or more words or phrases received via the first GUI from the first computing device and the additional information in the user profile, where the relationship is determined in real-time or near real-time as the one or more words or phrases are received; and display a visual indicator in the second GUI that shows content in the second GUI that is relevant to the determined relationship.

Abstract: A system includes a transceiver configured to receive one or more Wi-Fi signals associated with a structure, and a processor having computer-executable instructions. When executed, the instructions are configured to cause the processor to perform operations that include receiving the one or more Wi-Fi signals via the transceiver, comparing the one or more Wi-Fi signals with a signal profile, and determining whether an anomaly activity is occurring in the structure based on comparison between the one or more Wi-Fi signals and the signal profile.

Abstract: A water contamination detection system. The system may include a device processor; and a non-transitory computer readable medium including instructions executable by the device processor to perform the following steps: receiving information indicative of the presence of one or more contaminants in water within a geographic region; determining a characterization of water contamination within the geographic region; and sending information regarding water contamination to a plurality of users of the system.

Abstract: A user authentication system includes an image capture device and a controller communicatively coupled to the image capture device. The controller receives first image data associated with user identification information and generates a first set of biometric data based on the first image data. The controller also receives second image data associated with a first user action in response to the first set of biometric data approximately matching a first set of authenticated biometric data. The controller further generates a second set of biometric data based on the second image data and receives third image data associated with a second user action. The controller also generates a third set of biometric data based on the third image data. The controller further grant access to a user account in response to the second and third sets of biometric data approximately matching second and third sets of authenticated biometric data, respectively.

Abstract: Aspects herein relate to storing information concerning rights and liabilities or other records on distributed ledgers. A method disclosed can include identifying a transferor blockchain associated with rights and liabilities for transfer from a transferor to an acquirer, identifying an acquirer blockchain associated with the acquirer, creating an interim blockchain including the rights and liabilities, generating entries to the transferor blockchain removing the rights and liabilities, and generating entries to the acquirer blockchain adding the rights and liabilities. Another method disclosed can include identifying a critical record of a party, identifying a blockchain associated with the party, and generating an entry on the blockchain associated with the critical record, the entry having permissions related to at least the party.

Abstract: A hosts file manager is provided that displays a user interface with a list of selectable server groups. The list may comprise, for example, identifications server groups. Each server group corresponds to an IP address, and the hosts file manager has access to such IP address data. A user selection of a first server group may be made and received via said user interface. A computer's hosts file may then be modified to correlate a hostname with an IP address of the selected server group.

A distributed DNS service maintains distributed DNS entries as external clients log on and/or log off of the internal network. Abstract: Chip cards that are protected from unauthorized access to information and instructions stored in the chip card's chip by unauthorized persons using illicit devices that emulate chip readers to interrogate the chips in chip cards and obtain or download confidential data stored in the chips. The chip cards are disabled when not ready to be used, such that the chips cannot be accessed by illicit devices, thus protecting the chip card owner and/or issuer from potential losses.

Abstract: An image of a negotiable instrument may be taken by a camera associated with a mobile device and provided from a user to a financial institution via the mobile device. The negotiable instrument may be deposited in a user's bank account based on the image. Any technique for sending the image to the financial institution may be used. The mobile device may process the image prior to sending the image to the financial institution. Additionally or alternatively, the financial institution may process the image.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for determining a transfer option for transferring a call. One of the methods include receiving, by a call assistant engine, a keyword related to information provided by a user to an agent during a call; generating, by the call assistant engine, follow-up questions to be displayed on a user device of the agent in an interactive format, the first follow-up question being generated based on the keyword, each of the following follow-up questions being generated based on an answer of the agent to the previous question; and determining, by the call assistant engine, based on answers of the agent to the follow-up questions, a transfer option for transferring the call.

Abstract: Methods and systems for receiving a detection of a physical presence of a user and, in response, initiating a start-up process on an enterprise device according to a profile associated with the user are described. Thereafter, the system receives authentication credentials at the enterprise device and the user is granted access to the enterprise device after the authentication credentials are verified.

Abstract: Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices can be used to perform authentication related operations because IoT devices are prevalent in our society and because a server performing an authentication operation can communicate with IoT devices via the Internet. In a first example authentication technique, a server determines whether a person can perform an operation requested by the person based on whether the person performed an action on an IoT device, where the action is selected by the server and send to the person's user device. In a second example authentication technique, a server determines whether a person can perform an operation based on whether a person accurately identified an action performed by an IoT device, where the IoT device performs the action based on a command sent by the server.

Abstract: A system may include a communication device that may enable a user to complete a digital form via a first communication session. The system may include a processor that may determine that the user has not completed the digital form, determine one or more issues associated with the user not completing the digital form based on a progress point associated with the digital form, determine a communication channel to use to follow up with the user regarding the digital form based on a data profile associated with the user, the one or more issues, or both, and establish a second communication session with the user via the communication channel to present the digital form at the progress point, such that the user can continue to complete the digital form using the second communication session.

Abstract: Systems and methods described herein facilitate the management of personalized life information using a distributed ledger. For example, a distributed ledger system, such as one or more blockchains, may manage personalized life information of one or more individuals to, for example, determine an occurrence of a life event for a first individual based at least in part on personalized life information for the first individual, to access various types of personalized life information for the first individual in response to the determination of the occurrence of the life event for the first individual, and to provide a subset of the personalized life information data for the first individual to a user device associated with a second individual.

Abstract: Techniques are described for cross-device presentation. During a speech interaction with a conversational user interface (CUI) executing on an input device, such as a personal assistant (PA) device or other computing device, a user may utter one or more search terms to search for an item, such as a vehicle to purchase. The search term(s) may be employed by a search engine to identify one or more items that correspond to the search term(s). The search engine can generate recommendation information that includes a description of the item(s) corresponding to the search term(s). The recommendation information can be communicated to an output device that is registered to, or otherwise associated with, the user who spoke the search term(s) to the input device. In some instances, the recommendation information can be presented through speech output on the PA device or other device.

Abstract: A method of operating a web service atomic transaction (WS-AT) system includes: receiving, at a processor of an extensible markup language (XML) gateway, a first message from a communicatively coupled client, and inserting a WS-AT Transaction Identifier (ID) from a Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) header into a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) header of the first message to generate a first modified message. The method also includes: receiving, at a processor of a network device communicatively coupled to the XML gateway, the first modified message from the XML gateway, determining that the WS-AT Transaction ID is not yet associated with a service provider in a routing table, and in response, sending the first modified message to a particular service provider and associating the WS-AT Transaction ID with the particular service provider in the routing table such that future messages from the client can be routed to the particular service provider.
